Jim Webb D-Virginia is up, trying to push his amendment,,,,,
There is a lot of "Good in this amendment" (NOT!!!)
Seems they were given a cheat sheet yesterday about the bill, all one sided I suspect!

He wants to remove "Touch Back"!

"they are here in contradiction to American Law" (No kidding, they are here ILLEGALLY STUPID!)

Also he wants to remove the Jan 1, 2007 clause and make it 4 years back!

If you have put down "Roots" you get a pass.......

No way!

What a disaster the waffler is!!!!!!Yell

He's not a waffler. He's a liar.  He went on Lou Dobbs last week and said he was against the bill.

All they keep saying right from the beginning today is that they know the American people are absolutely apposed to this bill. Then they proceed to tell us over and over and over why they have to ignore us. As for Kennedy and Feinstien , they are just out and out liars. I cant even beleive anything they say. They lie so much no one would know if they actually told a truth. In my calls I told them Im sick of hearing how they have to legalize 20 million people in order to inforce our laws. Bush says the same thing. Its blackmail. I would go to prison for that. All they could all say is yes mam. I also told them if they dont have to enforce the laws....I dont have to obey the laws. Hows that for a deal.

Deport congress and the president!!

Never seen such incompetence and arrogance in the "House of Lords" (what some are calling the Senate these days).  It truly is unbelievable the thought patterns of these people and their absolute refusal to abide by the wishes of the American people, or any kind of code of ethics.  This group needs to be run out of office at the first voting chance.

Yes hammer, hammer, pound, pound....

No it is not the House of Lords, it is the Parliment of La Raza!

I am surprised VA residents are putting up with this.

VA is a strong conservative state and the elected representatives always stick by the citizens of VA. This is nuts to see this happening in VA.

VA residents will provide Warner and Webb with an old fashioned Lynching!

Webb's amendment to the bill was just tabled (killed), with 79 voting against him. His amendment would have limited amnesty to illegals that crossed the border in 2004, instead of January 1st of this year.  Webb earlier said he couldn't support the bill without this amendment.  Let's see if he supports the cloture vote tomorrow.  If he does, that means he was lying--again.

Here is a list of the 12 “fence-sitter” Senate contacts for EVERYONE to email regarding immigration. Many offices are putting calls straight to voicemail and they can just trash faxes that are being sent (and letters take weeks to get through due to security).

Let’s hit the Hill staff where they are so codependent - their Blackberries! Send email directly to staff - not just the generic Senate office mailbox. Contact their Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and Press Secretary. Make your voice heard!!

Good info!  Now let's see who votes for cloture on Thursday from these states.  Or worse, who votes for the abortion of a bill with or without amendments if cloture is achieved.  Then of those, see which can be voted out of office in '08 and work on getting somebody else elected, preferably in the primaries.  Then start a recall petition drive on the remaining ones.  It's a plan with some specific focus.

msbobbie This is good info. However, Maryland is not on the list! Figures! Liberal hell hole. I would love to move home to N. GA once they are all recalled! That would great.

I am suprised VA is not on the list. I really thought they would be.

Question: Why do only some states have recalls and the others do NOT? Curious.

Oh and I heard through my Aunt - lived in San Diego all her life until just recently - could not take the illegal alien invasion anymore - however she said the LULAC is trying to recall CA back to Mexcio thourgh this prevision. She could not put her hands on the article but she said she would locate it so that I can post it here.

Can they really do that? I hope like hell they can't but any is possible anymore. America has become a land of lawlessness. Every thing that was right is no wrong!
