A CANDIDATE FOR ALL REASONS ?

I still haven't found my dream candidate , though the cream is slowly rising to the top . Basic honesty even if the person is a crook and can admit to it  I'd rather know I had voted for a crook so I could keep a close watch without everyone saying I had a conspiracy theory hang up . Maybe a person who admits to not having the answer but will get the answer and correct the problem post haste . A person who keeps in touch with the vast majority of their country and rides all concerned (house and senate) hard and puts them up wet just to make sure that work is being done toward a stronger safer happier country . A person who appreciates the constitution of the UNITED STAES OF AMERICA and does not go out of their way to change it or meddle with the judicial system to suit their need while in office . A person who understands the sometimes , where maybe the people of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA --ARE--  mistaken in their beliefs , but will use time and energy re-explaining and educating others instead of using behind the back closed door tactics to ram something through . A person who realizes that the world is full of rotten apples but uses caution in ridding the world of same , once again calling upon intelligent , thoughtful , and strong talents in all dealings . A person who has empathy for the not so fortunate in this great country yet is able to distinguish between the lame and the lazy . A person who has long term thinking for all of the children of all the children to the end of the world  and keeps their good interests in mind and at hand day in and day out .

In my humble opinion I think you may want to seriously think about Fred D. Thompson being the man to fill that person's shoes.

I do hope he is nominated and wins with either Ms. Rice or Mr. Hunter or Mr. Tancredo or Dr. Paul as his running mate for the office of vice president.
