Wish I could make this. I encourage everyone who can to go and send our message loud and clear. Though I have to work, I'm taking every opportunity to spread the word and recruit more people to the cause.

Well, we didn't get there until 5PM- rally was supposed to be from 1p-5p. Had to wait on new dishwasher installed before we could go. When we got there, there were only about 12 peple left. One guy who got there around 4P said that when he arrived, it was breaking up. Said it broke up early b/c it was so hot (93) and most of the site was in the sun.
However, we met Dustin Inman's parents (www.DustinInmanSociety.org), who were still there. Dustin was a 16 yr old who was mowed down by an illegal (who left scene of accident) about 7 yrs ago. His mom sustained a brain injury in that same accident. She is still in a wheelchair but has come a long way. She said she had to relearn everything. I let her know lots of us were fighting to kill this bill. She and her husband expressed thier appreciation of everyone's support.
One lady was very happy that my stepdaughter came..... they said kids need to get the mssg. out to other kids and wanted to know how to go about it. My stepfaughter, who just turned 16, as well as her younger brothers (11 and 14) all understand what's going on- we've taught them well, and never have kept them from watching the news- we want them to see reality and what will affect them later in their lives. My stepdaughter said so many kids in her school have no clue about this amnesty bill.
We do need to work on teaching kids and getting them to teach others, but in a way that it is fun so they'll be interested.
I believe Chris Krok is planning another rally this week here in Atlanta, details coming during his radio show weeknights from 10p-2a. My stepdaughter wants to attend it.
The rally at the GA Capital drew several hundred people, I was told. I could only find the news on one channel's website, Atlanta channel 46, though channel 2 was there, and I am not sure who else- I only say those 2 channels' trucks. There is a video on the channel 46 web site if anyone wants to see it, here's link to page it's on: http://www.cbs46.com/global/story.asp?s=6668993
It really bothers me how this amnesty affects all of us and our kids, yet wwhere are all the people who are faxing, e-mailing, and calling Senators? Those who can need to get outside and make their voices heard.
I wish I had more to report. I was bummed so many had left early.
Next one held on the weekend; I'm going to try and attend Lord willing. I'd be glad to stand beside my Georgia neighbors. The fact that people are being gouged at the gas pump by some of the same people trying to force feed this amnesty to us has alot to do with the low turnout.
Carpool, chip in for gas, whatever we have to do to get the message across needs to be done. Can't get Chris Krok here but let me know when the rally is and I'll try to spread the word in Lagrange and West Point. When you have a couple of hundred all across the nation it sends a great message.

Jason, thx for all of your support. You can listen to Krok online via your computer, you just go to the www.wsbradio.com site and look for links to listen live, it might be near the top of the page.
Or, go to that site, then click on 'personalities' on the left, then look for Krok, and click on the link beneath his picture, and it'll take you to his page. I believe there is also a link on his page to listen live.
I'll post when I get details from Krok. For you, his show would be on at 9PM in Alabama.
I no longer live in Georgia but go to Atlanta with work often. If it ever crosses my schedule I would look forward to stand out front with others just like I would in my current home state Florida.
Don't overlook the behind the scenes warriors though. For instance I have handed out or placed thousands of stickers and fliers in places I go. These always have references to Grassfire, Numbers USA, Tancredo etc. Nothing better than opening up the newpaper rack and placing a sticker on the front page with the slogan "WANT LOWER WAGES - SUPPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION" or "SCHOOLS NOT CROWDED ENOUGH - SUPPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION" or "NOT ENOUGH GANG CRIME YET - SUPPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION" another favorite in areas with lots of retirees is "HOW MUCH OF YOUR SS SHOULD WE GIVE TO ILLEGALS?" and I also place fliers in the papers with all the bullet points on the issue. I stick these stickers on Gas Pumps or lay out fliers on tables at the airport waiting tables or in hotel lobbies etc. I have even mailed out fliers to a string of addresses in my area. Getting more expensive but for $41 + paper and ink I can speak directly to 100+ families without anyone screaming and it works with my schedule (hectic to say the least because I have to travel a lot).
I see it different than you in a way concerning the event turnout. I see it as you are part of an emerging vanguard. This encourages others to step up and out. This is a huge cultural shift. It will grow one by one and then all of a sudden leap exponentially. Perhaps for too long the overwhelming majority of average Americans (HELL YES THAT MEANS WHITE AND MIDDLE CLASS) have associated political marches or protests as something beneath them or not representing themselves in a dignified manner. Going to the ballot box was the real measure of Patriotism. Times have changed.
Waiting for the ballot box to change things is no longer a valid solution for two reasons. First, there are a lot of irregularities and I no longer trust that illegals and others are not voting illegally. Also, when elected officials like KYL and others run against illegal immigration and then do what he has done, well, it tells me they are not concerned about the folks that vote them in because we are "in our place" and will take whatever they shove down our throat.
I do agree with you that it is important to be seen and heard and have long held that it will take a more public display of political opposition to defeat this type of amnesty legislation and demand border security. Until the news has to show average Americans rallying in large numbers and a Day without Americans the amnesty, SPP, NAU etc. will not be dead. Basically, when more folks start rallying against traitor politicians, corporations and ethnic lobby bigots than watching NASCAR the game will be up and illegals will be finding their way back home, south of the border and working Americans will see their wages increase. Sure corporate profits might decline some. So what they shouldn't have been this high to begin with. What kind of a criminal minded idot builds a business based on criminal activity? I am concerned about the law abiding businesses and I look forward to seeing them do better and beat the cheaters in the ground!!!
Thanks for being among the first and among the best,
Well, I must say, when I arrived there were approx 50 to 75 people there. I remained for approx 2 to 2 1/2 hours and I believe the crowd and grown to between 250 to maybe 275. I was very pleased to see that we had a crowd of that size. Yes, I would have loved to see 1000 to 30,000 but I just do not think enough people understand what is about to occur. The good thing about this crowd. It had blacks, whites & Latino & Asian standing there as well as I am sure, different religions. If we can maintain a group such as this, and no one puts an agenda such as Race, Religion, Sex or Economic Sanctions on any one coulture, We would have an almost perfect group of REAL, TRUE AMERICANS as a picture. Even our Dekalb County C.E.O. Vernon Jones showed up and spoke as well as a State Senator. I heard time after time, at least 100 or more cars blow their horns in support of Enforcing the laws to provent illegals from crossing the boarders. By all standards, it went well, peaceful & respectful. I am sure there must have been at least 2 to 4 plain clothed F.B.I. as well as undercover A.P.D. Officers & it appeared the entire Georgia Capital Police Road Officers. As I stood there several unmarked vehicles showed up & the G.C.P. & it Appeared Federal Police gathered and watched very closely, Many, many Pictures were being taken from the different agencies watching the crowd. Then A.P.D. vehicles starting circling the Capital as well. But everyone was very kind & polite, all rules were obeyed & to see such a diverse group of people gather to make one statement & put differences aside was a site & should have better media coverage. Our local stations such as 2,11,46 & Fox 5 did show it on the news here, it only recieved about 20 seconds of air time from each.
Only time will tell, I hope we can get Our Government to listen to the people, but I just do not think it will happen to our liking. We are going to have to send a strong message once they pass this bill, they are going to do it.
So be very ready to Recall them, or at next Election, VOTE them out! They seem to think we are not willing to go to the extreme of removing them. WE, are going to have to drive to remove both parties from power, period.
LIVE FREE & SPEAK FREE !!
My question to everyone, is there anything & I mean anything that you as a person an indivisual should not be able to speak? There is only one answer. (NO!!) it is all about common sense. Those who says yes, or hesitate have lost their way.
Great comments, SovereignMan. I like your stickers and flyers ideas. Reminds me of signs that Protest Warrior would have (Google 'em if you don't know who they are).
ManForFreedom, thanks for the info about the rally. I wish we could have gotten there sooner. I was a bit bummed that it broke up early, but with 95 degrees and our area in the sun, I can understand why. Thanks for attending it. I only saw news coverage on channel 46. And where was the AJC?
