National Guard TV comercial

Hello from Indiana. I just joined today and I hope I posted this on the correct forum. I watched a commercial on television last night that absolutely floored me! It was an advertisement for the National Guard. All the Guardsmen were decked out in pristine uniforms exuding proud *Americans*......but I could not understand one word of the whole thing. THE ENTIRE COMMERCIAL WAS SPOKEN IN SPANISH!!! WTH???? How messed up was THAT??? To me, that's indicative of what surely lies ahead for our country. I am so disgusted and angry right now I could just PUKE!!

As a former NCO I find that completely ludicrous. I cannot imagine having troops under me who did not have an understanding of English. So what is this going to be all Spanish units of m13?

1) secure the southern border with 700, not 300 miles of barrier, double the border patrol and back them up with 10,000 National Guards people. That would effectively shut down human and drug smuggling from Mexico.

2) require all illegal aliens in the country right now to register at the post office with Homeland Security. After registering, they would be given a tamper proof ID card, designating their status and their right to work temporarily in the USA. If the illegal aliens do not register, it's a criminal felony. Right now sneaking across the border is a civil action. Remember that. Subjecting the person to immediate deportation or jail time. The criminal penalty goes way up.

3) Any business that hires an illegal worker who doesn't have a tamper proof ID card faces draconian fines and possible prison time for the executives.

4) Each illegal alien would have his case reviewed by federal authorities. And they would decide who would receive a Z-visa to stay and who would not. That takes the blanket amnesty, something many American hate, off the table. It also allows the feds to make rational decisions about who's helping America and who isn't.

Under that banner, no illegal alien who commits a crime while here would be allowed to stay. Also under that program, no welfare of any kind would be paid to folks here illegally. They'd have to work for their living.

Now that is a fair immigration plan that I believe would be acceptable to most Americans. It would also allow the feds to quickly build a database, so Homeland Security would know the extent of the alien intrusion, which we don't know now.

Again, any illegal alien who didn't cooperate with the new law would immediately become an outlaw. And immediate action could be taken against that non-citizen who doesn't comply. That would end the sanctuary city madness and give the federal government more tools to regain control over this out of control situation.

Hi 82nd Airborne,

My MOS was 68g20 and you guys made many jumps at Fort Bragg from our choppers , 2nd Of The 82nnd barracks in between 612th Quartermasters and the Golden Knights . Same page ? This ad DID run .

They will be recruiting a lot of hispanics,I forget the bull--- reason they gave,but look at all Bush has done and is still doing to facilitate the entry of as many illegals(and drug runners too,no doubt) as possible into this country.Does anyone really think they are going to stop their compadres?Pretty soon,there wont be any American agents.It is undoubtably part of their NAU plan!

I saw it again for the second time just last week. It airs around 10.30 pm on the ABC network, (Fox?) (our local station is wtvw). The whole ad is spoken in spanish, and the National Guard logo, etc. is shown in English. There is no English subtitle, so unless you speak spanish, you have no idea what the ad is saying.

MANY SENATORS STILL DON'T GET IT

Despite the public outcry that helped defeat the Senate's giant amnesty bill in June, several senators are determined to pass a number of smaller amnesties.

THE LATEST AFFRONT: AgJOBS AMNESTY

Senators Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Larry Craig (R-Idaho) are telling everyone that they will offer an "AgJOBS" amnesty bill, which would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who work in agriculture. They have been joined by a chorus of senators determined to ram this amnesty down the American people's throats.

Don't their cries of "fruit rotting on the vine" fool you. The H-2A guestworker program provides the agricultural industry with all of the temporary labor it needs. But the H-2A program has wage requirements. The AgJOBS amnesty would relieve employers of that requirement, allowing them to set the wages for the indentured, formerly illegal workers at any level they wish, down to the minimum wage.

Since aliens will have to perform agricultural work in order to become permenent residents, they will have no choice but to work at whatever wages and working conditions employers choose to offer.

Once again, the Senate is trying to force an amnesty on the American people for the purposes of driving down wages!

Please call your senator on this note today and slam them for trying - yet again - to pass an amnesty. Check the quotes on the instructions page to see if you senator said anything particularly inane, and drive the message home that they should have learned after the "grand bargain" amnesty bill that rewards for illegal workers and their employers are NOT acceptable to American voters.
