Some here will remember my thread from last February--A Day For America: Fight Back, Stay Home on March 15th--which was the good idea of a poster at another forum, an American named RIVERRIDER.

I believed then and believe now that if we had stayed home from worl and school and shopping last March 15th America would not today be under threat from our own president and represenatives.

So I am passing along the new proposed date for Americans to show their unity on the illegal immigraiton issue:

JULY FIFTH.

 

Do not go back to work the day after celebrating Independence Day this year. Stay home on July 5th, stay away from shopping.

The following is what made me return to the fight. The simplicity of this idea is great:

If someone reading this thread agrees with the idea of legal Americans staying home from work and shopping on July fifth to show the REAL numbers of Americans who want the borders closed, along with a REAL immigration policy, you can help by contacting the likes of Ann Coulter, sean hannity, Glenn Beck, Michelle malkin, Bill o"reilly, Rush limbaugh, etc, etc, and ask them to help promote this Day Without Americans, this Day For Americans.

And contact Grassfire and Numbers USA and the Minutemen, etc, too. We need leadership and publicity for this.

Ask them to get the word out for all their listeners, the Americans who they keep saying "better wake up" and "better do something". Ask them to finally back real action with the simple act of spreading the word for America--or SHUT UP ABOUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BEING TOO COMPLACIENT, ETC ETC...

What Americans lack is real leadership.

As I have been saying for years:

There are no American leaders displaying the same courage they have come to expect of us, the American people.

Help make July fifth a new revolutionary day that will be in the history books. For such action by millions of Americans will force the changes we need for the nation. Even if only a small percentage of Americans stay home that day the numbers will be in the MILLIONS.

Even if they pass this bill . . . especially if they pass this bill!

Fight damnit! Do it within the law. And if you get flak, sue an employer who says you weren't sick, or your car did not brake down, or you alarm did not work . . . or that you are not really tired of non-americans destroying your school and your hospital and your wage and your family's future as Americans. Make him pay more to all those legal minds who say being a patriot is unconstitutional...

Time is not on our side. But there no organization or group or their combination that can stop us if we stand together, our sheer numbers and determination will easily surpasses theirs.

And we will tell the politicos that this day can be either our one protest or our FIRST protest. It will be up to them.

The following is what I wrote in 2006 in regard to the illegal marchs on May 1, 2006. "WE The PEOPLE" May 1, 2006 was a very sobering day for me and many others regarding immigration. May 1st the illegals aliens (self made criminals) flaunted their disdain, disregard and disrespect they have for the laws of the United States. They willingly made themselves criminals by illegally entering the Untied States and continued a life of crime by staying and using false documents to gain employment. Because they are criminals they should be finger printed, mug shot, entered into a criminal data base and deported immediately never allowed to enter the country for any reason. Illegals have put financial drains on our health system (poor health, diseases, not paying for services), education system (do not pay school taxes), financial ( do not pay taxes for social services), judicial ( they commit a high percentage of crimes), etc. They destroy our public lands by setting fires, using the forest as latrines and leaving trash behind (documented in government hearings). The Constitution of the United States begins with "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America". It clearly states "We the people of the United States". Our great country does not have any obligation to provide a better life or opportunities for citizens of other countries. If citizens of another country want our way of life then they should stay in their country and work to gain what we have or enter the United States legally. July 4th made me reach back into history. Our nation did not begin when the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. It began with two groups of people that were truly the first citizens. They were known as the puritans and pilgrims. On May 6, 1607 three ships, the Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery stopped at Cape Henry. These three ships carried one hundred and five puritans. In 1620 the pilgrims established their colony. Both of these groups believed in God and used the bible as the basis for government. Both of these groups were from England (pilgrims via way of the Netherlands). Neither of these groups were multicultural. All other people that came over to this country did so by coming through the front door and assimilated into the culture by accepting English as the common and legal language and the laws that were established based on the bible. It has only been within the last two decades that multi-culturalism has been pushed. Follow the money trail and you will find the billions of dollar spent to teach illegals in their language, provide them with free health care, recipients of educational grants not available to citizens, they influence government with illegal donations and illegally voting, lawyers get large fees to demand privileges for illegals and smugglers get paid hugh fees. Amnesty was granted by President Reagan which only encouraged more criminals. Let that be a lesson, amnesty or any other forgiving program does not work. It only encourages criminals to be more bold. The last paragraph of Article VI of the Constitution states, "The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shell be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; ............" Any elected officials who wants to over look the criminal activity by granting amnesty via so called guess worker permits followed by citizenship after a number of years working and living here should be tried for treason. Elected officials take an oath to uphold the laws of the United States and to protect our country. Not upholding the laws of the United States is an act of treason. The laws of the United States allows for legal immigration which are needed for an orderly assimilation into our culture. Anyone leaving a country to become a citizen of another country, should adapt to the culture of the country they immigrate to. If they want to keep their own customs, language and loyalty to the country or a group they left then they should not come to the United States - they are not needed nor wanted. In the end they will only cause trouble by disrupting our way of life. We are no longer a nation of immigrants, but a nation of descendants from immigrants. We are the United States with its own culture derived from a melting pot of immigrants that came to this country for a better life, respected the laws already established and assimilated into the culture established by the puritans and pilgrims. It is now time to tell anyone that hates our culture and will not obey our laws and respect our way of life - leave. It is time for a day without citizens. Three days with citizens demonstrating in the streets should show the governments at all levels we want them to keep their oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States and deport illegals and eliminate "birth right" that give citizenship to children born to illegals. I believe your post says what has been in the minds of millions of Americans for a long time now.

Our politicians know what you have written is right, that they are in fact violating their oath of office, including the office of the presidency.

 I hope your thoughts expressed here will inspire all who share your patriotism, as i do, to take action and tae an extra day to celebrate and DELCARE our Independence Day.

I hope you will participate. Please contact media that will carry this movement. It is the only way. Word of mouth alone will not get it done.

And no matter how many faxes and calls we make, the politicos will defy us--unles thye see millions of Americans standing together ina single action to say "NO MORE!" PH

We should start an email campaign to try to reach some of the conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh,Sean Hannity, Ted Nugent, and any other high profile folks. There is also a great list on the Drugereport website and we can start contacting them to help call on folks to take action. We have to stop this amnesty insanity at all costs. I will put in the time on computer doing email. I keep the phone lines hot already calling my turncoat senators here in FL. but to no avail. They have a bad case of voter deafness right now. Maybe their hearing will improve when they don't get any campaign donations and funding.

This is exactly the idea.

And Patsy and Gal and Sparks and nraged--everyone--don't stop. I have been trying to get through to as mnay callin shows as i can, and I set up a bried e-mail that gets to the point for coulter, debbie on politics, limbauch, and malkin and dobbs, and o'reilly.... We have to do this every day; get family members to do the same.

Listen, I am a grassfire supporter, and minutemen and Numbers usa, so I do not say this with malice--but no mattre how many faxes and calls we make without naitonal coverage for July 5th we won't meet the goal.

Just think that there are tens of millions of working American citizens and if only a small percentage stays home we Amewricans will have sent a more powerful message than any of our enemies.

It is a good idea, however July 5th many people take off the whole week and go on vacation out of town. I do not think the date is going to work, as stated above.

I am one of those people - I take off that week. So you may find most Americans do infact take off on the 5th of July, maybe not all week but certainly the following day after Independence Day.

This year is going to be tough guys on 4th of July because we may not have a country left if the Amensty bill passes - even if it does not pass we are still stuck in limbo with our laws not being enforced.

So the invaders are still here marching and spiting in our face. They kinda have already taken over - and we have not been offically told!

I am sick of all of this - I could throw up

Great !  Okay where do you want to MARCH ? Let everyone know where to meet and I'm sure we can provide the signs.  Not going to Home Depot that one day is no real problem, heh? I doubt that the Senate & House will both approve then comprimise their individual bills AND Bush sign by the 5th of July. Come on.....let's DOOOO something together!

Okay, lets use the other blog sites and get the word out. Yes, there is a march next weekend the 16th. And we are all going to participate, right? Okay, another ACTION in 3 weeks is PRIME TIME ! Let's get the word out and do this thing ! Not everyone will march, many will not shop, everyone can fly the flag. Let's get on it NOW.  Here is an idea I'll throw out and see if it floats: at NOON on the 5th we all go to the local office of our Senator. (Are they going to be open that day?)

We have already demonstrated the power of a mouse roaring, they heard us on immigration and were shocked at the outrage and uprising thus far. We have to show them that not only can we roar but this little mouse is not cute and cuddly little Mickey Mouse, this one bites too. We have to cut off campaign donation to those who are not listening to us and have disregarded everything that was promised during their campaigns.

Pressure on our talking heads is the key. We have to have as much of a public podium as possible. 

We can't let up pressure on the pols either, I have gone by offices here and they cringe when people stop

by in person to chew them out.

There are still tens of millions of Americans scheduled to work on trhe Fifth,

 and don't forget the NO SHOPPING.  "Can't do" has to be out of your vocabulary. Adapt, improvise and overcome.

Since you are off that day, will you jpin in contacting national figures who can get the word out through the media?

Blaze--this is what you said about the March 15th proposal and it did not happen that way. Americans not participating in work and shopping on July Fifth will have an impact. All we need is for the word to get out nationally.

No shopping.  I love that!!  I'm the only woman in America who DETESTS malls and shopping in general.  Hell, I can do that protest every day just about!!

Who wants to shop anyway?  Its hard to find a store here that doesn't have loud mx music and employees that can't speak English. 

The stores here are so overrun with border riff raff, I'd rather stay home, and hang out at FS.

Besides Juarez Mart now only sells mostly stuff made in China, yuk!
