He mentions the inability of the government (congress) to get it done! Nowhere does he mention that the people of the U.S. have spoken!

Too bad Mr. Calderon......

Mr. Calderon is concerned because income from the illegals being sent back home to family members is the 2nd largest income for Mexico behind oil.

He is scared his free money ride might be closed.  Mexico is a very rich country that has allowed the very top tier of just a few families to control all of the wealth in the country, and so have encourged the poor and uneducated to flea to the USA so they can get educated, health care and benefits in our country and then send the money they do earn free of taxes back home to hold up the shame of a country called Mexico.

I think what goes around should come around and that all of the illegals here should go back home and demand the same things they are demanding of the US government and it's citizens.  Lets see what kind of response they get then.

Sorry Mr. Calderon but it is time for your "elites" to pay the piper.

Bush had no right one way or another to give Calderon any say in what goes on in our government. Now I do call that treason. We are not Mexicans. If hes worried about his people he needs to call them home.

Do I understand this right?  I read on another post that Bush already signed the NAU into place in 2005, thats why Mexico is already sitting in our laps, dictating our affairs, having our Heroes thrown in prison for doing their jobs, now he's whining because this is taking so long?PPPPLLLLLEEEEZZZEEE!!Yell

It is unbelievable.  Calderon is all worried about the violent gangs/drug cartels  that smuggle drugs across the U.S. border and his government is embroiled in tough talks with Congress to hammer out a tax reform.

We're like the surrogate mother to Mexico, and they're used to everything being handed to them.  They can't even take care of their own criminals without the United States having to intervene and coddle them every step of the way.  Bush is constantly using America and our way of life as a bargaining chip with Mexico.  I really believe Bush thinks he has to take care of them.  Just a thought, as it  goes back to the loss of one of his sisters many years ago.  He promised his grieving mother, at that point in his young life, that he would never leave her side.  He has made the same kind of promise to Mexico.

If the president of Mexico really wanted to help his country, he would revamp the government, education system, economic system, etc., and  redistribute the wealth and build an infrastructure instead of living off of ours.  Take the oil money that Mexico has and rebuild the country with production facilities/plants and provide jobs for the illegals that invade us.

Hire mercenaries in Mexico and Central America.  Let them take care of the Mexican drug and gun runners, and their putrid gangs.   Seal the border off from their side--so none of their drug and gun runners can go back and forth to the United States.  Let Mexico destroy and cement the tunnels and other escape routes these thugs use. The country has the funds---just do it!

Nothing practical and truly lawful--can't have that now--that would be too much work.  Easier just to grant amnesty and all the perks that go with it--American citizens won't care...

One slight kink in Mexico's/Bush's plans--we're not going to let it happen...

There is absolutely we need or want from Caulderon or his stinking country.  If they wanna sell us oil, fine but keep your trash to yourself.  The only thing I want from the mexican people is their absence.

If Caulderon is so wonderful why are his people clamoring to leave?

If mexican "workers" are so damn valuable then why is mexico such a shithole?

You are correct. Bush partnered up with Pres. Vincente Fox and Prime Minister Martin from Canada. It is actually called the Security and Prosperity Plan.  Most of congress had no idea what the SPP was, even 6 months after this took place! However, they are now on the SPP wagon. There is a section in this Senate immigration bill that basically OK's the SPP!!

We need to get that out of the bill, among other things of course!!!

You heard it right USA GAL

Bush facilitates open borders to turn this country into a 3rd world disorder of slave labor. When it gets so chaotic the American people, in his opinion as well as his global elitist bosses, will glady see the NAU aka SPP aka NWO take place. Why do you all think that he just reinforced his marital law control in May? Why do you think he federalized the National Guards which he is now using in his next chess move? It's not what we know that worries me it is what we do not. I think Bush signed up with the Globalists to get into office and this is a deal he must see through before he and the Bush family cartel  flees to their hide out in Paraguay

Just in my opinion

Believe it or not, the Canadian people are starting to get pissed about this SPP plan WAY ahead of us Americans!!  They have decided that their PM has been pulling the wool over their eyes and have started to speak up against it, don't know why the American people are not catching on and realizing that there will BE no more America if the Bush Administration has it's way, just a huge area called  "Mexico" .   That is also part of the trans hwy they are building from Mexico thru the mid-west up to Canada, so the Mexicans can drive trucks all over the place and into Canada, nice of us to make a freeway at our tax-payers dollars to help Mexico drive our truckers out of business and take their products out of Mexico into Canada and take Canadian products out of Canada into Mexico!  Ahhh  yes, according to the Bush administration, truck driving will soon be ANOTHER job Americans won't do!!

Be real careful about saying things about the Mexican government it is illegal for someone from another country to interfere in Mexican politics. Knowing bush he wil have you extradited to Mexico to face treason charges in Mexico.

Thanks for the info on the Canadians VeeBee.  I don't think any of us have heard that, I know I haven't.  That is great news.  You are right on about this trans hwy.  On the front page of our local newspaper today there was an article saying they are adding 9 more pedestrian lanes to the border crossing and 2 more traffic lanes to the 5 they have already have.  That is just at one bridge, we have 4 Intl. bridges.  Making room for the trucks.

The word has to keep getting out, too many people just going about their own business not knowing whats happening.

Lou Dobbs should hear about the Canadians, he'd give a full report on that.

The second richest man in the world, behind Bill Gates by only a small amount is from Mexico, can't remember his name now, and he was openly critical of the USA billionaires who give their money away helping others, he said he doesn't run a charity bank!

Nice guy, eh?

As far as I am concerned, if Fox and the current Prez Caldaron paid more attention to what is under their control and in their own country and less attention and pressure to our country, they could be almost equal in standard of living to us by now, as they have the natural resources and have miles and miles and miles of coastline they could build desalinazation plants and pipe the water up into the interior to farm etc those arrid lands.

Just laziness and greed on their parts, heck, most of their "congress" and elected officals are just about as worthless as ours are!

It was on Lou Dobbs about 2-3 weeks ago that I heard about the Canadians starting to catch on about the SPP, so he is aware of it and has reported on it.

And Blaze, if I can't say my feelings as an American as a citizen, regardless of who or what country I say it about, then we are in deeper trouble than I think we are!!

Maybe we could team up with them to stop our politburo from destroying our countries.  Got any names of groups or websites of Canadians who we could contact VeeBee?
