June 9, 1954 - Attorney General Herbert Brownell announces that a special program to apprehend and deport illegal aliens in this country from areas along the southern border would begin on June 17. The program is now referred to as "Operation Wetback." The first phase was to create a notion that a large army would be looking for illegals.

GET CONGRESS ATTENTION! CHANGE YOUR W-4 AT WORK AND CLAIM 10 DEPENDENTS SO NO TAXES WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR PAYCHECK. WHEN THE MONEY STOPS COMING IN MAYBE THEY WILL REMEMBER THEY ARE SERVANTS TO WE THE PEOPLE.

You do now the term Opertaion Wetback is now outlawed as racist. I am not kdding either. I think it is quite pathedic but that is the way it is today!

I like return to sender better becasue not all illegal's in this country are hispanic. There are Muslims in this country illegally, Africans, Irish, Britians, Chineanse, and a few other countires.

We need ALL illegals deported - returned to sender - to the point of orgin. Between the Mulsim invasion and the Mexican invasion we are screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!



When the government becomes responsible for us, We the people are no longer a free society.

Here is the link to the whole history of the Operation.   The article explains exactly what the President did to solve the illegal problem.   Dwight Eisenhower solved this illegal border issue quickly and with no hesitation.  He would shudder with unbelievable disgust over the current crisis and illegal shamnesty.

Of course I know the racist thing.  And yes I know there are illegals from most nations and I agree they all need to go home and ask to come here legally.

The President visited with the Pope about this issue yesterday.  Specifics have not been announced but the Pope's spokesperson said President Bush has a responsibility to respect the citicens of his country and protect the country's borders but he also has a responsibility to be compassionate to immigrants.

I am sure that is interesting.  I don't have time to read it this morning.  I grew up in the Eisenhower days.  The good ole days.

Thanks, msbobbie.  The link is still showing an error.  Please cut and paste and put in address bar/browser.  Again, Eisenhower solved the problem in the 50's and a former/retired border patrol agent says the same thing could be done today.

I do not understand why the link will not work by clicking on it.  Sometimes access is removed after a certain length of time,  but the page will open if you highlight/copy then paste in the address bar of your browser.

The story is lengthy.  A real history lesson.

Yes, I am aware of President Eisenhower’s plan. And it worked. And yes he is rolling over in his grave along with the founding fathers of this nation and the countless veterans that have died so we can live free.

When the government becomes responsible for us, We the people are no longer a free society.
