Come on people - What the f*ck is this world coming too? CFR is to blame for all of this! The father and the boy ought to sue the hell out of them - for violating their civil rights! And furthermore that women needs to be shot - to bad it was just a toy.

11-Year-Old Arrested For Using Rubber Band Gun

POSTED: 5:59 pm EDT June 5, 2007
UPDATED: 7:58 am EDT June 6, 2007

An 11-year-old Ocoee boy was arrested for playing with a toy gun. Police said the arrest was necessary, because it was a safety issue.

The boy was using a rubber band gun and his father said the kid did nothing wrong, but police said they take it as a serious threat and the 11-year-old is facing felony charges.

The crime isn't very common, but Ocoee police said it is serious. It centers on an 11-year0old boy and his toy short-barreled shotgun.

STRANGE PHOTOS
The incident started Sunday afternoon, when the 11-year-old was riding in his dad's pickup near Clarke Road and White Road in Ocoee. Someone driving nearby called police after they said the boy pointed what looked like a real gun out the window. The victim told police she was afraid for her life.

"With that type of behavior, it's hard to tell if it's a real gun or not, especially in their car," said Sgt. Randy Conyers, Ocoee Police Department.

But, according to the charging affidavit, the 11-year-old's dad said nothing was wrong with what his son had done and that he used to do it as a kid. The boy even told police he was pretending to be a cop and thought the victims were laughing with him.

The gun itself only fires rubber bands and was checked into evidence. Police didn't comment on the weapon's color or release any images. Still, the victims said they were frightened and, police said, toy or no toy, the charges are justified.

Eyewitness News spoke to the father of the suspect on the phone. He said his son is out of juvenile detention and that a judge told him the case would be dropped. He also confirmed that the gun was black, but that it looked more like a stick than a gun.

Blaze...it's the f**king PC liberals and the panty waists who grew up during the feminist movement who believed everything those bi*ches were spewing.  You can't do anything anymore without some limp wrist screaming about it.  They've even banned kick ball in some of the schools because some mothers were "in fear" of their child's safety.  These are the boys who grow up, become politicians, and end up in the headlines because they were discovered in bed with their male staffers.

I feel for that dad. Once I was driving down the road and a fireman in his own car was behind me. As he came up to pass me, My son threw a paper cup out the windown and it hit his car. I didnt even know it happened. But the man began a stalking procedure and started cursing at me each stop I made and I had no idea why. I finally thought the man was insane and drove right to the police department where he followed me and parked across the street. I went in and got a policeman and he went over to talk to him. He never bothered me again. How stupid he must have felt getting angry enough to kill over a special needs child throwing a paper cup at him. Foot in mouth

Oh damn I hope I don't have to drive that area with a long handled broom  that doesn't fit all the way in the car.....might think I'm trying to pick someone off with a rifle and i'm an adult and would be in real trouble.  LOL   Too bad those policemen don't have something better to chase. After a talk with the father it should have been all over and the child shouldn't have been arrested thats ridiculous.    I'll bet that woman was going in the opposite direction????

If I were a lawyer I would ask....what are the facts?

1. Was the gun real? NO.

2. Should the kid have done what he did on a street? NO.

This hardly constitutes a felony.

Wonder what that woman would have done had she seen my son and his buddies a couple of years ago toting his pellet gun down the middle of our street after having done some target practice in the woods?
