link to story --> 17-year-old Duaa Khalil Aswad Just one young girl in love. What is one young girl's murder when so many have died? Such a short life.

Made all the more disturbing by the fact that the news story makes it known that someone videotaped the entire appalling event.

Authority without freedom is tyranny. Freedom without authority is anarchy. There must be a balance of freedom and authority.

Irish Eyes:

I can hardly find the words to comment about such a brutal, barbaric, unconscionable, tragic, horrid, and absurd act of murder.  And for what and why?  Because of her violating a taboo against a Yazidi being in love with a member of another religion.  Poor creature!  What a senseless death she suffered after seventeen years of being subjected to membership in a religious theocracy of upwards to a half a million souls who, of all things imaginable, worship a blue peacock known as Malak Taus.  So much for theocracies, be they foreign or domestic.

Personally, I'd like to respond by beheading ol' Malak Taus, plucking his feathers from his carcass, cooking him, and feeding him to the leaders of his cult.

Hmmm, a blue peacock known as Malak Taus.  Yes, GOD as my witness, I did read that correctly -- incredible indescribably ridiculous absolutely ludicrous inane insanity unthinkable utterly nonsensical only GOD could adequately define such a work of the Mystery of Iniquity.

How can life be worth living if you can't and/or don't feel alive?

Heart breaking is all I can say. Yes but yet they are a peaceful religion or so we are told by the left in this nation. Here the secularist leftist are working on and passing I might add vague hate crime laws. Your name can be up in lights just for thinking about what the left views as a hate crime. One the other hand these same people want horrid stories such as this censored.

I lean on Jesus to make it through every day.
