State Senator Kit Bond has not decided, but has in the past voted against amnesty.

Senator Claire McCaskill is undecided but stated it has been their policy to vote against amnesty as well.

I'll vote only for politicians that uphold the American Citizens' beliefs, way of life, support, and trust.

Senators Bond and McCaskill both voted yea on the cloture vote To me that was a vote for amnesty. Both of them have lost any future support from me.

Embarassed  Senator Christopher Bond nd Claire McCaskill are a total dissappointment to many of their Missouri constituents.

Shame on them for ignoring our concerns and rights.

I am so disgusted and dissapointed in Bond and Mc Caskill.  Our way of life will forever be changed.  What do they gain for voting for amnesty?  Will they be out of work because someone else will do their job for less? WHERE ARE OUR RIGHTS AS CITIZENS?

I have contacted McCaskill's office several times.  Even before she was elected.  She supposedly is not for amnesty.  Her staff said she wanted to be debate the bill.  I reminded them the bill IS amnesty and they told me then she would not vote for it. I told them that if she did I would campaign against her and support her opponent.   As for Bond, as everyone knows he voted against it last time.  I smell a rat here though...  on his government website you will find in his announcements, he was, the the guest speaker or (master of ceremonies) promoting Smartport in KC which leads to backing big corporations and Mexico (North American Union).  Also McCaskill's office could be reached.  His Washington office could not.  His local office in MO told me he is against immigration.  Well, we will see...  Government can no longer be trusted.  Keep pounding the phones and faxes.

It seems as though once again our ELECTED (key word) have pranced and grinned and lied to get elected and then seem to have forgotton who elected them.  Apparently they think this is a  kingship and we are their serfs!  Apparently whatever the people want  means nothing to these elected officials!  They will do as they please, no matter what we say.  Where is the 800 plus miles of fencing that has already been funded and approved for the border?  Does anyone honestly think that the govt. will do anything except lie, to secure the border?   Sen. Talent was a no amnesty senator and it's a shame that  he was not re-elected!  This  mass amnesty for lawbreakers will ruin this economy to the tune of 2.4 Trillion dollars and say goodbye to your ss and healthcare!  Shame on these  2 senators!!!

I too have contacted Claire many times.  She assured me she was not for amnesty of any kind.  I reminded her that she ran her campaign on that issue.  We shall see.

Bond has never been for this before.  But the repubican negotiators have duped them.

I have sent letters to all of the Republican Senators reminding them to vote no on S-1348.

I have no faith that the spineless Rino's will vote for the people who put them in office.  They are traitors and backstabbers working for illegals, rather than their own people.

It tells me their own money and power first and they are so far removed from Americans, the gap has never been so wide.

We need these people out.

And you are right about Senator Talent he would have never voted to sell us out.  He was the one Senaotr that worked for the people.  I cannot believe that we have that many ignorant people here.

Senator Bond has a prepared statement his assistants will read to you if you ask them to do that. Claire McCaskill's offices, if they answer the phone, parrot what they think she thinks and will argue with you about your stance on this and other things!

"No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain these blessings than United America. Wondrously strange, then, and much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to neglect the means and to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to so plainly; I cannot believe it will ever come to pass." CORRECTION: Bond did not have on his website being the host at Smartport. It was on Smartport's website last year that Bond was their "guest or master of ceremonies" promoting Smartport. Bond did give on his government website about "the largest and biggest economic undertaking near the KC airport" last year but would not admit it was Smartport (With its location it was the building of Smartport). Kind of suspicious he would not actually name Smartport....

Not to be contentious, but I am not sure I agree that a Yea on the cloture vote is a vote for amnesty.  It could be that the full text of the bill needs to be reviewed in detail and a Yea vote gets it out of committee and on to the floor for examination.  I would agree that a Nay vote is an attempt to bury the bill in the committee.

I was able to get a draft copy of the bill (currently 386 pages in length) and it is eye opening.

I will be watching closely to see what further developments are happening and encourage everyone to continue to contact Sens. Bond and McCaskill to vote against amnesty.

This is your tax dollars at work people. I see it as a waste of my tax dollars a fence, what is a fence going to do? It's like locking your car doors all it does is keep honest people honest and children out. I didn't expect anything less or more from Bond and McCat. I would gladly play more taxes to see a full force military base on that border complete with land mines like we have in Cuba. Now that my friends would be a deterant frankly I'm sick of the whole mess. It is taking way to long to secure our borders because the powers that be are way to forgiving of all but Americans. What ever happen to over throwing the government and building a new one? I'll tell you what we have way to many willing to sit and watch the bloody grass grow and the cars rust and lack the guts to even try such a thing.

Yeap a full force military base complete with land mines it tis but a dream I have. To bad thats what it's always going to be. Yes shame on Bond and Cat but hey they are only two out of a swamp of many.

My last thought, putting another Clinton in charge of the Country Hill you have already been president once you need not apply again. If Billy boy would have done his job in the first place UBL would be dead and Sept 11 never would have happened. Unfortunatly its not just Mexicans crossing our borders we have a far greater threat then these that will cross that border. With Hill in charge they won't have to climb a fence they will be spending the night in the White House.

Boy, I agree somewhat with your comment. We still need a fence. A military base is not a bad idea. You have prisoners and welfare recipients who could do the work of the illegal immigrants. Why is there no large amounts of protesting going on? Americans are lazy. If the mass numbers would get out and revolt there might be a change. I have no faith in the government implementing closing the borders, implementing and following regulations for this new immigration bill BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT DO WHAT THEY PREACH! Big money, big business, a do nothing Congress and a big oil man in the White House who has made a mess of this country with immigration, the war, trying to sell off our ports, air space, roadways, now ocean rights, NAFTA etc. The government cannot even handle the Mexican gangs in CA! They buckle to the LaRaza group. This is what our nation has come to. Americans do need to revolt in America. Enough is enough. If Bond or McCaskill go for this I will be livid! IT IS TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE. THE ORDINARY MAN CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS.

Stormey,

You wrote "This is your tax dollars at work people. I see it as a waste of my tax dollars a fence, what is a fence going to do? It's like locking your car doors all it does is keep honest people honest and children out. "

Good analogy and I would like to build on it.

The current government's approach to border security is to leave the doors of the car open with the keys in the ignition.  When the car is stolen, instead of prosecuting the thief, the government then insists that the legal, resident taxpayers have a "moral" obligation to supply the thief with an automobile who wouldn't have stolen the car if he could have afforded to buy one.

Additionally, that would be a huge military base to cover the norther or southern border for that matter.

Let's take a prudent first step and take the kys out of the ignition and lock the car doors and remove from office any politician who votes to leave the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition.

I guess some of the true colors are coming out on Bond. Sounds like he is for a Guest Worker Program. Will hear from his office tomorrow on reasoning..

The new French president has it right about how to handle illegals.   Read this article and send it on to your elected reps, maybe they can learn something!
