1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

This whole issue has its roots in the 60's when LBJ opened the gates. I was upset thru the 70's when the airline hijackings took place. Solution: close the borders! If they can't get in, they can't take the plane from here. But what rankled me most was the fact the borders were not shut after 9/11! So now. almost 6 years later, the politicians want to further destroy the fabric of the United States. If we let them, we will be another third world country.

As for the jobs we don't want to do, those are the jobs I grew up with doing. It taught me how to be responsible, accountable, and hard-working. But since then we've become a coddling society. It's my RIGHT to expect and accept entitlements. In my neighborhood we helped each other to get thru the tough times; we didn't need a govt. program. I'm damn tired of the govt. telling me what to say or not say, how to think, or what fringe group I must accept. What happened to "the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone"? Can I get an "Amen"?

The jobs Americans won't work are the jobs that the teenagers and others worked!  I remember the janitors at the schools I attended... They were U.S. citizens supporting their families!  What are they now?  "OH" I forgot, these are "now" part of the jobs that Americans won't do!  The cleaning services that came in to the offices after everyone went home were also U.S. citizens!  I know! My brother owned one of them!  This is a bunch of bull!  These are the jobs Americans will and have worked for years!  Don't let the repetitive words that they are doing jobs Americans won't do sink in like they want them to! You know what they say, if they say it enough people will start believing it!  DON'T! Lies and more lies!  Dump the invaders!

I want to run for President.

I am in no way schooled in Politic's and I am a free thinker. I see things for what they are, and what they can be. I am as fair as anyone can get, and I am as direct and forceful as well. "What if?" is what needs looked into. When I see things in grey, I work it out. I can hug a tree when it is necessary, and I have no problem coagulating a bleeding heart.

Anyway...............................

I had a thought? This would never happen, but it is a good idea. Let each and every State come up with their own immigration reform ordinances. Make them a vote by the people of each State (proven legal resident's). What is done is done. Those states that want these criminal's can have them, and those States that don't want them can search them out and give them the boot to the State line. If the neighboring State doesn't want them, they boot them to the next. And so it goes. By the time this gets rolling, the States that want them will be so overpopulated that they will end up creating new ordinances. And the States that got rid of them will flurish.

 

By the time this is done, I will be able to find a new State to live in and be happy! I can dream? can't I?

I never cease to be amazed.  With a Bill like the (not suppose to be AMNESTY).  Baloney!!  I don't recall that any of us (AMERICANS) were ever asked to vote on it.  With a government of the people, by the people and for the people why don't they (Congress, the government, etc) put it to a vote by the people??  Perhaps they will be afraid of the results.  What does it take for our Representatives to get the message.  ENOUGH, IS ENOUGH, IS ENOUGH!!!!!!

Amen! Mike.  I am in Oklahoma, but it was the same here, except I picked cotton and helped harvest crops.

It was the Hart-Cellar Immigration act of 1965. Pushed by none other than Teddy Kennedy and it included the ammendment that started anchor babies and chain migration.  Teddy Kennedy was also the leader of the 1986 Immigration bill that was supposed to control the problem forever.  The gates did not really open until Bill Clinton did some kind of amnesty by executive order that cost a Republican congressman in California the election.  I think that was 1996. Now, after a blind eye has been turned to our wide open borders Ted Kennedy is pushing another Amnesty bill.

Oklahoma passed an immigration control bill this spring that mirrors current federal law, since state law enforcement cannot enforce federal law, this gave us a tool to work with.  If this piece of s**t S.1348 gets to the Presidents desk our recently passed HB1804 will be worthless.

States cannot have laws that contradict federal law.

Congress could solve our crime problem in a heartbeat if they would just make all crimes legal now, huh?

Sunday 6-3-07 Drudge report headline says Americans are forgetting their anger over the ammnesty bill and therefore next week the bill should pass. You know something? I believe them , Americans get up for a good cause and then a baseball game or football game or mowing the lawn gets in the way and they lay down , expecting someone else to do the dirty work. SHAME ON YOU FELLOW AMERICANS , the few who still care are geting to be too few to get change . So many of you talk about those who flip or flop while you flip and flop and don't know which way is up , soooo we will all wallow in the mire and once in awhile say I didn't want it that way it must be someone elses fault . I have listened to you all say the same words about everything for years , be it war , social security or better yet , you name it , AGAIN .
