Well now, isn't this a surprise?  The left is the place of lies.  They are after a government hand-out anyway they can get it.  That would be you and me paying for their lifestyle choices and welfare and benefits of course.  Don't have to lift a finger if someone else pays your bills.

This is nothing new as far as being a "wannabee".  I have seen it over and over again about guys claiming to be Vietnam Veterans.   I saw this old guy the other day and he was wearing a black baseball cap with the words "Vietnam Veteran".  I asked he who was with, his answer was 18th Eng. Brigade and I again I asked what unit and his answer was the same.  When I asked what part of the country he was in he told me the DMZ and I walked away.  Came home and looked at the book........well there was an 18th Eng Brigade but no where near the DMZ.  They were down by Saigon and to the west of Nha Trang, but no where near the DMZ.

In 1995 there were 1.7 million Vietnam Veterans alive, over 9 million claiming to have been in Vietnam.  In 2000 there were 1.1 million Vietnam Veterans alive, over 13 million claiming to being Vietnam Veterans and I would not be suprise if most of them are getting VA Compensation.

It might be another war, but the result are going to be the same in 20 years, a lot of guys claiming to be Iraqi War Veterans

There you go again AH.

One whack job comes out of the woodwork and you attack everyone who opposes the war ad hominem.

The entire war is based on lies - and a scared, gullible populace swallowed it whole.  The good news is that almost 80% of Americans have come out of their collective coma and no longer buy into the Big Lie.

The fact is that Fallujah - once a city of 300,000 - was reduced to rubble leaving death, destruction and homelessness behind.  36,000 of the city's 50,000 homes were destroyed along with 60 schools and 65 mosques and shrines.  150,000 residents are still displaced, living in tents or makeshift shelters.

The use of phosphorus weapons, the virtual destruction of the city and the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians are the real atrocity - not the ramblings of right-wing operative.

Don't take my word for it - all you have to do is read the hundreds of press dispatches from Fallujah - filed by reputable, independent journalists.

War brings out plenty of whack jobs - or in the case of the Cheney/Bush regime - whack jobs bring out war.

We made and continue to wage a war meant to win "gently."  We should take out entire swaths--civilians need to get out or die in the crossfire, Arby.  Its good to leave ruble behind us--need to generate more.

The great mistake is the way the war was and is being waged.  We're only semi-serious.  Islamic whack jobs want to kill you, Arby.  Are you just going to satnd by and let them?

If we had leveled the place sooner, before it became a haven for the insurgents, we would have saved a lot more lives.

So let me get this straight - the murder of innocent men, women and children by a hostile occupying army is OK with you guys.  Destroying the lives and property of 100's of thousand of innocent civilians is acceptable in order to kill a handful of freedom fighters - who you call insurgents - that's OK too?

You're both gutless cowards - phony patriots who have no concept of reality.

The goods news is that you both represent a very small, mindless minority, easily manipulated and rapidly becoming irrelevent.

Well, Firewing--I guess we've been put down.  The orginal post was about a phony leftist (most of them are as we know--most of them want a handout from you and me)... six weeks versus six years in the Marine Corps (two active during the Viet Nam era) and a call-up during Desert Storm as part of the Alabama National Guard--in my case--I don't care what this irrelevent, mindless left-bot claims he knows about you and me.  Coward... never been called that before in my life.

Firewing, we know the coward to be the phony who spent six weeks in basic but couldn't hack it for some reason... and then applies for government assistance.  All cowards do, don't they?  Coward to earn a living, Arby?

They're laughable, these leftists.

Fire Wing and A. Hudd.  A guys spends 6 weeks in boot camp, can't cut it, quits or gets kicked out and than makes false statements about all the bad things that he did in Iraq.  For a guy like that to even make a statement about even being there..............well !!! enough said

That's the problem with forums that have several 'themes'. While I support the conflict in Iraq, oppose illegal amnisty and have Christian values, I post on all these. Some who may be against the amnisty are also opposed to the conflict or are against anything remotely Christian feel the need to argue their point. Since the majority of poster are not going to be swayed to their point of view, they feel the need to attack and name call. It's just something you need to ignore.

a12iggymom   ....   I am on your side.  I believe in the same values that you have.   Unfortunately some people are going to hijack the forum for their own personal agenda and will ignore the wishes of the person who started the forum.   I have already gone through this before on another tread and was told to mine my own business.  So I did and I stop posting any comments on that forum.

That's what is wrong with the American people today, it is rare to be able to debate w/o a fight breacking out. I blame Hiraldo and his tv show from the early 70"s(?). He paid folks from each side to fight on his show, at least until he got his nose broke! Laughing

Now the MSM does this as a rule. "come on you guy, duke it out!"

I don't have any answers as to how to fix this except to ignore the offenders. It really pisses them off.

Dear friends, if you love our country as I do, please call or send a fax today to your Senator and ask him-her to kill the compromise immigration Bill S 1348.

May 30, 2007

Senator Hutchison:

If you side with President Bush on the immigration Compromise S 1348, we will vote you out of office. This is a promise.

JUAN REYNOSO:

Okay, enough already!  I, for one, have duly noted your love for your country, exceeded only by your love of cutting and posting your suggested letter to numerous threads.  With me, it's not so much that I take issue with your sincerity and good intentions as it is the fact that it is irritating to see the same letter with its grammatical and punctuation errors posted over and over and over and over again.

Nonetheless, take good care.
