I called Senator Brown's office, the phone attendant said that Brown was undecided with his vote.    Date 5/22/07

Ohio is one of the states weak with jobs, it's dumb to give our jobs, our language and citizenship away to illegal immigrants who did not earn their status to force us to change our language from English to Spanish.  I already made up my mind both parties don't get my votes for voting for amnesty through their teeths and the war.

What is it about "no" that our Ohio senators do not understand?  In all the surveys, Ohio voters are overwhelmingly against this amnesty bill.  

Both of our Ohio senators voted "yea" for the amnesty bill.....If they continue to vote FOR this bill, I, along with my friends, will work as hard as we can to defeat both of them in their next election...  We won't forget this betrayal!!

I dont understand why they refuse to enforce the Law.

I think it is time to Vote them out of Office. 

I agree with e3mrk.  I am grateful for firesociety, Grassroots, and the other wonderful non-profit organizations that get information out to those of us who either too busy, or can't get to the main-stream media/information to find out what's going on.  As an Ohioan, I am ashamed of our politicians.  I am also ashamed of the voters who were right-wing, who voted for Democrats, only because they were angry.  Now, they will be sorry.  These Senators/Congressmen have their own agendas and clearly not those of their constituents.  VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE!!!!

 

Well the people voted for these DEMOCRATS, when this is all said and done these illegals will be handed everything on a silver platter for FREE, I am a golf course mechanic, the past 6 yrs. these illegals took summer jobs that high school and collage kids needed to make money for their education, next time you go golfing take a look around, if you see these mexicans working for dirt cheap, who's jobs do they have, who's next, by the way ,I WAS a golf course mechanic. now I AM UNEMPLOYED AND PISSED OFF thanks alot government .

If this bill passes I fear that we will do ourselves in. If people want to come to America and become a citizen then they need to follow the guidelines for doing so. Learn to speak English for one. It really ticks me off when I make a phone call and I have to press 1 for English!! What kind of crap is that!! Besides the fact that they complain about not having rights, but yet if we want to go to Mexico guess what...we need a passport, so what makes them so special as to think that they can waltz into this country and just automatically become an American citizen??? I'm tired of them having more rights than we do as "legal" citizens!! This has to stop and it has to stop now!! We have imprisoned our own people for doing their jobs because "illegal" aliens were injured while smuggling drugs over the border! You know what I have to say about that? BOO-HOO! How dare you complain because you were doing something wrong and in the process were injured!! You are the one that should be behind bars, not our border agents!! Alright...I'm done for now, it just really irritates the crap out of me that these people get away with murder and our own people are punished for doing the right thing. I will continue to pray and do everything in my power to make some noise, so that our politicians will hopefully make the right decision and protect this country from harm!

After reading the rants above, I IMPLORE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS, blast your Senators/Congressmen with faxes and emails and phone calls and let them know how your feel TACTFULLY.  Tell them you will not vote for them again and that you will share that with your friends and families wherever you go.  THIS MADNESS NEEDS TO STOP.  Call them. Fax them.  Do whatever it takes to get your opinion expressed.  If you don't, then you will have done nothing to help the change.

I have a large sign in my yard from Grassfire.net - yes, I sent them money to support them.  We need to do that, if we can.  IT'S TOO BAD THERE CAN'T BE A SPECIAL COMMITTEE SET UP TO JUDGE OUR LEADERS.  THESE PEOPLE WOULD BE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE, WORKING AMERICAN CITIZENS WHO COULD REVIEW THESE LEADERS PERFORMANCE FOR US EVERY 6 MONTHS AND GIVE A FULL REPORT TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC SO VOTERS WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THESE LEADERS, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU CAN CALL THEM.  For some reason, the word LEADER doesn't not invoke credibility to me anymore.

I agree SherryR, I mailed 7 letters yesterday, to my Senators plus the Senate Leadership.I am writing to Senator Lindsay Graham right now he is a very sly and decietful politician. He has voted for every Outsourcing Agreement and has continually given Fast Track Authority to the President. The mistery is he always comes through it unscathed. I can't understand why the people of South Carolina doesn't remove him from office. He is one of the framers of this Z VISTA Bill.

THANK YOU for what you are doing, even if no one else tells you.  I don't know you, but right now, you are A GREAT AMERICAN.

The answer to your question is simple: knowledge.  If people don't know, they will vote the way of the 'media'.  And, we both know that the media slants everything.  They are just as liberal as the politicians that are running.  We need to get the message out loud and clear to the people who are uninformed.  We need to tell our neighbors, post signs in our lawns to inform the public.  I really believe our American way of life is at risk.  I voted for President Bush, but I AM SO ANGRY WITH HIM RIGHT NOW, it is a really good thing he is NOT running again.  I am waiting to see who I will vote for.  None of either party looks good, right now, although a few look OK. 

I post to many different blogs, JUST SO I CAN RESPOND AND EXPRESS MY VIEWPOINT, as I am doing here.  So, find some other blogs you can air your feelings out to.  Don't just use this one.  Go to digg.com and post there.  You'll find them if you Google.  I even belong to some liberal sites.  I like to read what kind of garbage they are spreading.  However, I always go into those sites PREPARED FOR WAR.  We need to KNOW WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT backed with facts (viable links and resources) so when we do respond to their rhetoric, we can tactfully BLOW THEM AWAY.  Mind you, I have found that a lot of these bloggers love to INCITE negative responses, SO YOU'LL HAVE TO really read between the lines on some of them.
