RE: Sen. Norm Coleman: Here's the nuts and bolts of his feelings. It sounds like Coleman feels it is unrealistic to think that 12-20 million illegals will be removed from the U.S. He thinks the requirements (heavy fine & head of household leaving the U.S., going to the "end of the immigration line") are good. He wants tighter border security. He is reviewing the bill and won't make a final decision until after the holiday. My feeling is that he supports this bill. We've made about 10 calls and sent many faxes in the last two weeks. We hope many other citizens will do the same, otherwise, it sounds like he's going to back this amnesty bill.

Low man on the totum pole Tom Tancredo for President, he will get something done about border security, and illegal immigration, he has been speaking on it for years, not just a johnny come lately.

 I have been calling, faxing and emailing Sen. Coleman and Sen. Klobuchar on the King Bush/Lord Kennedy Immigration Bill here is where they stand as of 5/25/07.

Sen. Coleman;

Staffers tell me daily that he supports a "road to citizenship" plus emails from him he indicate that there is about a 95% chance he will vote for this immigration bill.

Sen. Klobuchar;

I made many calls and staffers would tell me she is not ready to publicly say where she stands on amnesty. Her vote no on the Vitter amendment indicates she will vote yes on this bill. Plus I received an email from her on 5/24/07 and she stated in her email that she beleives there needs to be an "earned citizenship for illegals, Klobuchar will vote yes on the King Bush/Lord Kennedy Immigration Bill.

I have informed Klobuchar's office that if she votes yes I will start a recall vote on her office to have her removed. I have also informed Coleman that if he votes yes I will do all I can to make sure he is not reelected in 2008.

After every Amendment vote I send an email to both Minn Senators and give it to them good!  We in Minnesota need to keep flooding them with emails and faxes (I put a thread on here last night for a free fax weblink).  What happen to to "For the people".  Seems they get elected and then ignor the will of the people completely!!

They both need to be out of office if they support this!  Maybe they can donate their saleries to the welfare system in Minn!  To help pay the bills for all the undereducated new illegals they want to keep here!!! 

They are worthless and need to be told so over & over!!

Minnesota citizens need to start putting their rights as U.S. citizens to work. We have the right to remove senators from office when they fail to represent "we the people" and if Senator Klobuchar votes yes on the King Bush/Lord Kennedy Immigration Bill we need to start procceedings to remove her from her office. When you call, email or send faxes to Klobuchar make sure and tell her that if she votes yes to this immigration bill you will sign a recall vote petition to have her removed from office. I beleive if we move in this direction we will get these senators to start working for us or their simply out of a job.

On 5/30/07 I called Senator Colemans office and Senator Klobuchar's office and asked the staff person this question.

Has Sen. Coleman/Sen Klobuchar read and sesearched S. 1348?

Both offices answered with an enthusiastic, "oh yes we are looking at this bill daily.

Then I asked, If they have read and researched this bill why are they supporting it?

Neither office would give me an answer to why they are supporting this bill. When I explained to them how anti-American this bill is and told them that if they votes yes to this bill "we the people" will remove you from office. They suddenly were not so enthusiastic and no longer wanted to talk.

I am very concerned that the senators that are supporting S. 1348 who know full well the implications of this bill, why are they still supporting it and not listening to "we the people". I have a strong feeling that they have some hiden legislation that will take away the voice of "we the people" for good.

Keep calling to encourage them to vote no and ask them questions why they are working so hard to inflict harm on U.S. citizens and what other hiden legislation are they working on to harm us. It does not matter what amendments are added or deleted S. 1348 is very dangerous and should be killed.

Although the Senate failed to pass legislation this year to address the issue of illegal immigration, I continue to seek comprehensive immigration reform that is tough, fair and practical. Should the Senate reconsider immigration legislation again this year, my focus will be on three priorities. First, there should be stronger border controls. Secure, effectively monitored borders are necessary to protect America and to enforce U.S. immigration laws, and significant resources must be devoted to the urgent need for more border security. When there are people waiting to get into this country legally, we must make sure that we prevent people from entering illegally. Second, there should be better enforcement of our immigration laws, including cracking down on employers who hire illegal workers. I am writing to ask for someone to PLEASE do a story on what is going on
with our Senators when it comes to the Immigration debate.  I started on
this quest after discussing what's going on with my grandmother who is
elderly and does not have access to the Internet, as so many other
Minnesota citizens do not.  My grandmother was shocked and appalled when I
told her exactly how our Senator Klobuchar has voted to the many
amendments that were presented the last few weeks to the Immigration Bill.
 
I am a lifelong Democrat (voting since 1972) and have always trusted our
elected officials (especially the Democratic Party) to do what is right
for both Minnesota and the USA.  I am totally shocked and disappointed in
Senator Klobuchar!   It seems there must be a reporter out there that
would do a story to let the voters of Minnesota know how our elected
official seems to be more concerned with the wishes of Special Lobbyist
Groups such as U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Service Employees
International Union, the National Council of La Raza, and the American
Immigration Lawyers Association who are just a few of the organizations
who feel that rights of illegal's are more important than legal citizens
and tax payers in our state and country.
 
I am more than perplexed at what would cause Senator Klobuchar to
disregard the wishes of her constituents who pay taxes and supported her
during her campaign for the Senate.  She continues to vote in favor of
adding millions more to our already very expensive and over burden social
system.  She has managed for the first time in my 35 years of voting
Democratic, to force me to support the Republican Party from now on. 
Every Democrat I know feels exactly the same.  Senator Klobuchar is out of
touch with the voters in Minnesota.  She has proved by her voting record
on Immigration Reform, that she feels illegal immigrants are of more value
than the hard working people in Minnesota that have lost living wage jobs
due to the lower wages employers are paying to illegals'.
 
Below are many of the ridiculous votes she has cast.  I have included the

just in case anyone doubts what Senator Klobuchar's priorities are. 

Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.  Voters have
the right to know how their elected officials are representing them.  I am

Minnesota is quite Democratic.  6 of the 8 representatives in the House are Democrat.  They have one Democrat and one Republican Senator.

 

Republican Norm Coleman is facing at least 4 and as many as 10 potential Democratic challengers and only 1 potential Republican challenger in his re election bid.  Norm is another keeper.

Has anybody seen the story on www.worldnetdaily.com this morning? The RNC is demanding that delegates to the convention support McCain. Many district delegates voted for Pon Paul and they are demanding that these delegates back McCain.  McCain did not win Minnesota in the caucuses. How can they do this?
