Let's use this thread to help us track how Senators say they are going to vote on the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill. Find stories online or better yet -- call and document how these senators from this state are going to vote. If you call, include date/time of your call.

Switchboard: 202-224-3121.

Be sure to ask:

1--Does the senator support the Bush-Kennedy comprehensive amnesty bill?

2-- Will the Senator vote to "invoke cloture" (i.e. end debate) on the amnesty bill?

Senator McCain has the answering machine on for some reason, another phone line was jammed. Recon he is feeling the HEAT ? All of a sudden he has taken a backseat and is trying to stay out of the limelight on this issue.

McCain is at best, wishy washy on any issue and should not be a serious contender for the office of President.  He will do or say anything to be popular. He wants to be President more than he wants to do whats right for AMERICA. Enough said.

For some reason Senator Kyl supports this amnesty bill.  Not what he said his views on illegal immigration were when I voted for him.

I feel totally betrayed by Sen. Kyl. I voted for him precisely on the tough stance on the immigration issue. I won't do that again. As for Sen. McCain, there is absolutely no way I will vote for him in the primaries or the general.

What makes these Senators think that what is now not being enforced will be enforced in the future when there are 20 million or more people to process? Our representatives are truly delusional and not really representative of our wishes. Very sad.

I voted for Senator Kyl because I thought he would stand fast on the border issue, what a let down he has been.  As for McCain I think the man is becoming a little senile not to mention his apparent bad temper.

The Arizona Senators have been a real disappointment to our state. In fact this whole farce going on in the Congress is a shame.

Someone please post the contact phone numbers and mail addresses for the Arizona Senators.

I feel it is my duty to try to preserve my country, and not let it become a colony of Northern Mexico, complete with squalor, over population, disrespect for all laws and women.

Nope, not a racist. Wife is latina, I'm bringing her legally.  Baby is dual citizen.

Thanks,

I that I talked to Sen. Kyls Office he supported the bill to move forward for further discussion but he said he would not support the bill if there were not going to be a tremendous amount of amendments, he won't support it as it is, I was also shoked when he even took this bill up because I too voted for him. I don't believe he will support the bill because he is being battered by voters like us. Its my hope that he at least will do the right thing.

One thing further they would need 70 republicans in the house to move this bill so that tells me that at least 60 Dem. are againt amnesty! So this will be a bill like last year voted in by the Senate and beaten in the house.

Why do Kyl and McCain hate our country so much?

If we look back at the last 20 years, we have had

no representation in congress.  Kolbe,  McCain

and Kyl have been a joke!  I voted for Randy Graf

only to end up with an open borders, a c l u type

of left wing ultra liberal.

As Clint Eastwood said in " The Outlaw Josey Wales" it is time to get MAD DOG MEAN and angry.  People are going to have to make this a priority, get involved, start an awareness group in your area and educate your neighbors and family members, then vote out those that don't stand for AMERICAN values.

PUT a sign in your yard...........call them what they are...TRAITORS TO AMERICA ! Plain and simple. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

AZGOP GRASSROOTS ACTION ALERT: COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM NEAR DEATH!

Dear Friends,

It appears that a grassroots movement to stop this legislation may be working. Yesterday, I expressed disappointment on behalf of the Arizona Republican Party at the Senate legislation addressing Comprehensive Immigration reform.  Minutes ago, the U.S. Senate delayed further action until at least next month.  What happened in the last 24 hours?  Your calls, letters, emails and faxes!  What seemed to be at first our potentially darkest moments has the potential to become one of our finest hours!

According to the latest press reports, there are now just 20 US Senators committed to supporting the immigration bill and there are nearing 40 US Senators “already opposed or having serious concerns” to the bill.  If that 40 gets to 50, then the calls of our Republican Party faithful will have worked and you can take a bow because the people in Washington will have listened to our collective voices.

I have said since being honored to serve you as chairman that Arizona Republicans work hard and dream big.  That has certainly been the case these past few days.  Thousands of phone calls.  Thousands of faxes.  Thousands of emails.  Our grassroots mobilized because they believed so strongly in something that they could not sit back and accept a bad solution.  There can be no amnesty from the will of the American people, nor can there be amnesty for those who knowingly break the law.

Please, continue to call all Senators from across the country.  For your convenience, I have supplied the numbers for all United States Senators at the bottom of this e-mail.  I truly believe that your voices have made a difference these past several days, and will continue to be the difference as this debate moves forward.

In your service,

RANDY

As constituents of Senators Kyl and McCain, we have no representation in Congress.  McCain can't even show up to vote, and Kyl's vote was a complete contradiction to his campaign agenda on which I based my vote.  I am only remaining a Republican so I have the opportunity to vote against these two hypocrits in the next election.  All fund raising solicitations are being returned with my displeasure with the Republican Party.

Its one thing to decide to not vote for someone AFTER an election. But can we the American people, wait that long ? Our state is the front line of this fight and it looks like we are losing this battle . We are repersenteded by people that to me, hold very Anti-American values and views. An amnesty will help to destroy this great nation. This nation will collaspe from the weight of the imported poverty and unskilled masses being granted a free pass to the freedoms our forefathers fought and died for. This nation is bending to the loud demans of people that have NO Right to be heard in this nation. Their end, via La Raza Unida,MM,and countless other race centered groups ,is not to live the American dream and pledge their allegence to the USA.No it is for conquest and the "take over" of this great nation. They speak gleefully of when they will become the majority in this country . THEY ARE the majority already in their poverty ridden, corrupt, third world nations. What does that tell you of the future of this United States of America.

I left AZ 17 years ago to work in a foreign country. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to obtain a working visa. Of course I wasn't entitled to any benefits available to citizens of that country--nor did I expect any. Now, I am back and find that my country is overrun with non-citizens who illegally invaded the country and now demand to be given benefits of citizenship. I have several foreign-born friends who are well-educated, speak good English, and are married to American citizens. It cost them a lot of money and took a lot of red tape for them to even receive residence permits, and yet invaders waltz across our southern border and take advantage of the taxpayers.

We need immigrants, no question of that. But I want the government to give priority to those who are educated and who demonstrate a willingness to blend into our culture. NO AMNESTY! Has Sen. Kyl lost his mind? The proposed bill is ridiculous and unenforceable.  Sen McCain lost my support long ago. I'm sorry I voted for Sen. Kyl. It won't happen again. The more the invaders demand, the closer I move to favoring aggressive deportation of all illegals!

"Senator McCain has the answering machine on for some reason, another phone line was jammed. Recon he is feeling the HEAT ? All of a sudden he has taken a backseat and is trying to stay out of the limelight on this issue."

McCain is ducking anything at all to do with what I call "The Fiasco."  He wants to get elected, you know.  But it seems everytime he opens his big mouth lately, he shoves his foot so far down his own throat it dangles out his a$$.  I sincerely hope that bubble growing on the side of his face explodes his own head off.. there's my vote for McTraitor.

Kyl is nothing more than a goody-two-shoes.  At least when you write to him, you get the same old "standard" reply.  When you write to McCain, you get a BIG FAT ZERO - much like you do when you write to El Presidente D*uchebag.

If you seriously believe it's time to "preserve your country," then it's seriously time to revolt.  Your VOICE means nothing, your VOTE means nothing, all the writing and calling in the world MEANS NOTHING!  But get out in the streets and start shooting at the street lights and see how fast they'll LISTEN.
