Baghdad Prayer Patrol Urgently Needs New Members

I recieved an email this morning from Baghdad Prayer Patrol :

in part this is what it said:

First, I want to thank you for enlisting in the Baghdad Prayer Patrol. It has been very encouraging to see believers from all over the world focus their prayers together on the troops, police and people of Baghdad.

We're off to a good start, but i would like to match the number of people praying with the number of extra troops we are surging into Baghdad.

They asked that I and everyone on their list contact as many people as possible to join and spread the word. I would like you all to know that since I signed up for this the only mail I get from them is a once a day prayer They do not flood your email with other requests or anything else, just the once a day prayer.

I try to start my day with this prayer but sometimes am running late so I get to it as soon as possible. Here is the link:

I joined the Prayer Patrol yesterday (5/17) It is a precious spiritual service and holds up our service men and women  as well as the people of Iraq who are involved in the protection of their country.

Please join.  It is a once a day type of thing that is so important for our people that are over there.  It is the least we can do for those defending us here at home.
