I know you will not be going along with any amnesty programs, and I know the Democrats can ram something through possibly.
I want you to know that I hope you can find a way to stop it.
There are as you well know laws being broken by BOTH the aliens invading our country without permission, and the employers who hire/contract/subcontract them.
Remove the JOB MAGNET.. that should be your aim.
Removing anyone who thinks that the old saying I taught all my children "cheaters never prosper" is out of date, is mine!
As both of you know I refused to vote for President Bush when he ran for reelection although I did vote for each of you and Terry when you were running.. Keep up the good work. I am allowing a copy of this to go to the White House to show my disdain for the present occupant and his AMNESTY ideas.
Sincerely,
walter wade

I am sending this to all of you, but my first statement is in praise of Terry for the actions of the house yesterday passing HR1773 and requiring a roll call vote.
So Jeff and Richard... where is the companion bill? Why are you not sponsoring or cosponsoring a companion bill.
I feel as an Alabama resident that I am fortunate to have 3 people representing me in Washington who remember the people they are sent to Washington to represent... I voted for and am proud to say I voted for all of you.
I am allowing a copy of this to be sent to president George Bush so he can see the way real voters and their actual representitives do communicate.... Possibly his need to raise campaign funds or as I suspect his actual beliefs which reflect in his cheap labor at all costs policies were good enough to fool many Republicans... but the truth has come out... The FMCSA is determined to open the border to Mexican trucks ( mostly to Mexican based carriers owned by American big trucking companies) and so now they are willing to "certify" that those trucks will meet standards and requirements with total disregard to the facts. This cannot happen. Our borders are NOT secure The American trucks are not inspected enough to stop the scoff laws and dangerous drivers, and Mexican companies will only exacerbate those problems.
We need a companion bill for HR1773 and we need it NOW!
Sincerely,
walter wade
Have you expressed your views to your representitives... If you have not please do so...
Do your own research....Make up your own mind!
There are good truck drivers, and better truck drivers, and outstanding truck drivers.
Even if only YOU will know which you chose to be, that choice defines you!
