The 2008 election may see a vast number of new Hispanic voters streaming to the polls and voting Democrat, thanks to behind the scenes maneuvers by the Democrats' biggest sugar daddy of all. The outlines of the plan became clear yesterday when putting together stories in 2 of America's leading business publications.

The Wall Street Journal ran a front-page story on May10th regarding Univision's campaign to spur millions of Hispanic residents to become U.S. citizens.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that we can win this war against illegal immigration, folks.

Apparently this huge campaign by Univision, the largest Spanish-speaking broadcast company in the US, is having an amazing effect.  Applications for citizenship by green card holders are up over 100% in LA,  and the campaign is spreading to Florida, NewYork, Arizona, and many other states.  Most of the new voters will of course be Democrats and will push for pro-immigration issues.

Juan Salgado letter to Vicente Fox

From Uncovered

Jump to: navigation, search

The following letter was sent by Juan Salgado - president of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights - to Mexican president Vicente Fox. URL: www.ime.gob.mx/ccime/discursos/js7.htm

He says the March 10 Chicago march was historic, and promotes the efforts of Artemio Arreola and Omar Lopez, organizers of the march and also members of the Mexican advisory council associated with the Institute for Mexicans Abroad.

He promotes marches in other cities, and says that those in other areas could not count on the "sympathy and protection of the authorities" such as that afforded in Chicago by Mayor Richard Daley, Governor Rod Blagojevich, Senator Richard Durbin and Congressman Luis Gutierrez.

He says that the unity of the people against HR4437, and their economic and political power, makes him think that the U.S. will take the high road (and give an amnesty). If not, chaos will result. Not only that, but community and religious leaders will organize civil disobedience.

I heard about Univision this morning on the Bill Handel show.  Every Mexican in the United States watches this station on tv and they have advertisments urging people to become citizens asap.  They have lessons on the weekends to teach the immigrants how to pass the test for citizenship.  Their slogan is Ya es Hora Ciudadania!  We are screwed.
