Off Duty LA County Officer assaulted by male Hispanics

East Los Angeles: A Latino man of unknown age was killed by an off-duty sheriff's deputy whom the man had attempted to rob, the sheriff's department reported. The deputy was getting into his car to go home from an outing when he was confronted by two Latinos who demanded his car keys and wallet, and beat him in the head with "a blunt object," sheriff's investigators said.

The deputy tried to identify himself; the beating continued. The deputy got his car door open, got his gun, and shot one of the men, who died of his injuries. The second would-be robber ran away, and was caught and placed under arrest. The deputy suffered injuries to his head. He was treated at a hospital, and released.

To bad he didnt soot and kill the other one as well. I hate it when a criminal lives.

Well, I am glad the officer will be OK. However, because the would be robber was caught I am sure the officer will be sued, fined or jailed (maybe all or worse) when La Raza and or the ACLU come to his rescue! THings like this make me ill!
