Bank of America and Hangup Calls

Unbelievable. Seems Bank of America is harrassing some that close accounts. I've had a few calls at 8:00am no answer and 11;30pm no answer.

Mine too. They have our phone numbers on record at Bank of America. So harrass Americans that don't agree with their policies. Ludicris.

My husband and I closed our accounts on March 10 and they still send me a monthly statement showing a zero balance. Not one word on it to say it has been closed! We get 5 - 10 calls a day that are hang ups, but we thought that they were from organizations asking for monetary donations. Now who knows!

I closed my account with MNBA right after the B O A fiasco was known. About a month ago I recieved a Privacy statement in the mail from B O A with the last four numbers of my cancelled credit card on it. So I called them to be sure my account was cancelled. It again gave me a chance to explain why I won't do business with them. The rep replied that my account was closed and I did'nt HAVE BUSINESS with them. My son also closed his account and keeps getting statements. So far no phone calls!! Maybe we made an impact is they are taking their time to do this. Hope so.
