WHAT CAN YOU DO TO SAVE AMERICA??

 

 I know there are a lot of people who think picking the right Democrat or Republican for office will solve our problems. If you are a person who believes this you will be rudely awakened and without a country. How can I say this you ask?

Those running for president have already begun to talk about the same old things that have been talked about for years. You will not hear anything new but remain glued to the same issues they throw at you all of which will make good debatable topics but nothing will result in solving our problems. The primary reason for this is that the candidates are running for office not trying to solve anything.

As an example, can we agree there will never be enough for schools? The education business is the largest business in the United States. And the reason it does so well is that its foundation is based upon our children. We pour more money into our schools than anything else in America except maybe for drugs and we are easy targets. Notice I said we pour more money into our schools not education. Everything from the lottery to baking cookies, car washes, and cake sales you name it. Multiply those dollars across America in every state and city and you have a mountain of money. Since each state and city has a budget and the budget is based upon department heads who supposedly have said this is the amount of money needed for each department why is there a (shortfall of cash?) Their term not mine.

 

How many audits have been called for? 

How many more pieces of B.S. legislation need to be passed when we already have laws on the books that are not enforced?

Closing our borders

Illegal immigrants

Freedom of speech

Freedom of religion

Separation of religion and state

Gay rights

Violence on another person

 

Who wrote the law that says if you are caught breaking the law and you are a politician or CEO the only thing that is required for you to say is I will retire. Is that something magical? You walk away with all of your retirement perks just for saying you were a slime ball and you will retire? To begin with whom set up the retirement perks at $15,000.00 a month for a senator? Please someone enlighten me as to why we should supplement a crook at $15,000.00 a month for the rest of his life!

These are just examples mind you of those who have spent too much time in the think tank. I could introduce lots of other examples but stop here. My take on why we find ourselves in such a dilemma is simple our elected officials have no goals other than to make every thing debatable with no plans to resolve any thing other than getting re elected.

I'd respectfully suggest that We, the People, learn to ignore the shenanigans of politicians and political parties to the extent that we insist that those who supposedly represent us or want to represent us get the message loud and clear that we are a people/citizenry of a Constitutional Republic which is both wary of and mostly unimpressed by titles and ceremonies.

When someone is sworn to office then We, the People, need to immediately communicate by phone, email, or letter that now that they have taken office they will answer to us not to special interests, their cohorts, their party leadership etc. And by that we mean to say in terms as serious as a heart attack that through town hall meetings, through peaceful gatherings, through protests, through litigation, through armed marches we intend fully to have our individual rights, freedoms, and liberties upheld and defended and enforced despite police activities/barriers/presence and that to tread upon the Constitution in any way (irrespective of judges and their opinions) will be met with force, up to and including deadly force.

We, the People, will only have the government and more importantly the nation we insist upon having and that means eternal vilgenence and a "can do" attitute and approach to maintaining our position as the governed by consent Masters over the governing by consent servants. Not a task for the lazy or apathetic who sell out for a dole or a leisurely lifestyle.

Mouthing off or about how to save the United States of America Republic will accomplish damned little, if anything. What will make a difference a real difference which is a lasting difference is involvement. Involvement as a watchdog and an alarmist and an organizer and an enforcer. Anything less is just so much whining and hot air.

Challenge yourself to learn and assert your rights (regardless of the expense in time and money to do so) and move on to protect and defend them. If you don't then using forums such as this will result in nothing more than an expression of an opinion which afterwards amounts to returning to being a sheep led to be sheared or slaughtered.

Questions, FEDUP: Are you about molding your environment or being molded by it? Oh really? And you intend to do what about it? Your contributions thus far have amounted to what and with that answered you intend to further contribute what?

Doesn't "saving" America really come down to having the guts to answer the challenge of "Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can (and will) do for your country"? And please, do not ever substitute the word government for country.

It's all about the individual. Do we truly love our neighbor as ourself? I mean what if your neighbor is a Muslim, or even a Mexican ( Hispanic ), a proclaimed atheist, or gasp! a supporter of President Bush or Ted Kennedy, and yes even Nancy P.. As I see it and have been raised to believe, they are people too, and have acquired their status through diligent hard work. You don't have to support them, or even agree with them. Even so, love will eliminate barriers and goes to the heart of the matter. This then is the essence of diplomacy, be it with Hector you next door neighbor or Akbar who owns the gas-convenience store, or all the peoples of China or Saudi Arabia, and yes even Mexico. To separate Truth and Life from government is a lie. Our Founding Father's knew this down to the very core of their beings. It's in our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence, our money. The Great Seal of the United States is steeped in Christian-Judeo symbolism down to every leaf, talon, number, and brick and color represented in it. Our entire foundation is held together by this unity of belief. Once we extract God from our foundation we will no longer have a foundation, and we will no longer "hold these truth's to be self evident." We will slip into chaos and civil strife. As I read through these blogs and follow the threads I see many that advocate this very happening. A very wise and gracious MAN once said, paraphrased, "He among you without sin be the first to cast a stone." The Jewish law at that time permitted anyone caught in adultery to be stoned to death. Christ didn't come to do away with law (government), but to fulfill it, and I believe with every fiber of me that our Founding Fathers were fully aware of this or there would be no mention of God in any of our sacred documents. "One Nation Under God" Not above Him, or off to the side when we need to invoke Him, which has perpetuated this trend that is rapidly going to, without Him. If indeed this is where we are evolving as a Nation, then we do not deserve to have God on our money, or as the oath sworn before testimony, and the President need not swear his oath of office with God. It's all or none.

Please don't think you have a monopoly on Jesus' teachings or understanding them so as to apply them in all areas and arenas of Christian living.  I too am intimately familiar with them and with discipleship itself.  Yes, I should and must obey the law of the land and to "render to Caesar what is his and to GOD what is His.  Additionally, as an adopted step-brother of Jesus The Christ I am also to be harmless as a dove while at the same time I am being wise as a serpent.

The law of this land is the Republic's Constitution as the Law of GOD is wholly contained in the Ten Commandments.  Both must be obeyed in order to truly live in peace, to the extent possible, with all men and women and children and pursue happiness.  Nonetheless, we are not commanded to be so damned heavenly minded that we become of no earthly use.  Our sojourns are to be made up of serving others while praising GOD with our hearts and minds and lips and actions.  Service also includes defending, enforcing, and upholding inalienable rights which proceed not from men and governments but from GOD Himself.

If you want to save America......????? It requires the masses to rise up and demand that this country change YESTERDAY.It requires leadership we do not currently have. I recommend a back up plan that includes stockpiling food and all the survival gear you can stowe or exiting the USA altogether. We have a 435 traitors in Congress,a Prez that is no better, and a Judicial Branch that wants to protect Gitmo prisoners to Mexican invaders. It would rather incarcerate its own people and agents than address an invasion. WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A GOVERNMENT THAT NO LONGER SERVES ITS PEOPLE???????????????????????????? Does anyone really think their is a peaceful solutuion to this?  There is if you bend over.

KWT: I am not trying to come across as having any kind of monopoly, just expressing for those that want to relegate our Creator as nonessential, secondary, and worse as non existent, that's all. When a football team loses a game what do they do at their next practice? Get back to the fundamentals and basics usually because that is their foundation as a team. Hope this analogy is applicable. Don't take what I expressed as personally directed towards you condescendingly, or negatively, rather that we as a Nation need to seek out our roots and adhere to those precepts so aptly and genuinely set forth over 200 years ago. Where else may we turn?

Dane, I must say it does seem that trying to vote this idiots out of office is damn near impossible. No one will press charges on the other, why? It's the Good Ole Boy & Girls Club, they will not just start throwing each other in jail. Code of Ethics you know, They cannot make it in the private sector. They have their own special retirement account & vote themselves raises when they feel one is needed, who's not going to want more money. They are on the Ultimate Power Trip!

It's as if a bunch of high school jocks & jills with bullies & brats seazed elected office on a popularity contest & not the principles of the Nation, it's Constitution & will of the American People and the God our Founding Fathers so prayed & asked him to protect & guide our once Great Nation.

We cannot let them silence us or take our weapons, if we allow them to take these two God give Rights. We will be enslaved & Destroyed every childs life now & in the future. Only God knows when Freedom would or if ever restored, Once Lost, Always Lost. Unless someone or group by for the Price of Freedom, it will have to be paid in BLOOD, it will not accept any other form of payment, only BLOOD.

ManforF: As the classic hymnal says: "What can make me (us) whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." If you really want to lose 'your' blood I'd suggest going to your local blood bank or Red Cross. At least that way it will do some good. There are many good people that need it including our brave men in the armed forces that ARE paying with their blood. Why this paranoia, and infatuation with having a revolution here, and throwing our country into chaos? That would be a "Sure Fire" way to invite terrorism and all those that wish our demise, right in, carte blanche. Of course though, you probably don't see it that way. An analogy would be that when the immune system is down or not working properly the body is susceptible to attack from the simplest of maladies. Get a grip man. We're still a great and strong Nation and there are millions upon millions that want the right things to be done, and they will be, if we'll keep our wits about us,repent, and invoke God humbly and sincerely. But, revolution, civil strife, and taking up arms against our own is absurd. Read your own little ending post. "It is all about common sense." Civil war will be our ruination and at an accelerated rate that will for sure put us in the position where we'll surely be "Always Lost."
