What happened with the Big Rigs surrounding the Capital?

There has been no news coverage about the "Hold Their Feet to the Fire"rally in Washington, D.C.. What happened to the trucks protesting Mexican truckers taking American jobs?

    I have no idea what is happening, but it is no surprise that our great media is not saying anything.  If they were going to say anything, it would probably have something to do with how unaccepting and racist the truckers are.

I must say, it must not of happend, it seems no one really wants to make a show of force by numbers, everyone is to busy with taking care of things such as watching, nascar, wrestling, sports. Why worry about losing our rights. NO ONE REALLY CARES, if they did, we could organize a march or rally to make our demands. I feel it is to late, a small group of people care, we must be very small. I have tried to get people together for rallies & marchs to show we are here & need our demands meant.

Again, show me someone other than ourselves how care, show me commitment from others who do love Freedom & Liberties, that will take the time to make our stand. I am all for helping form the group & date with a place to make a point. Lets see some action!!

I read yesterday on another forum thread here that the big rigs were stopped by DC police and issued tickets miles from the Beltway. I have not found a link to a news story or mention on any websites to that effect. I will keep looking.......I was afraid this would happen if the authorities got "wind" of the truckers coming to DC.

I've posted this before, and I'll post it again......

I've tried to find ways to get involved, followed leads to rallies, protests, etc and get there and nothing is happening.  We have become a bunch of blow hards who get more out of the talking about the issue than addressing it.  If this keeps up, we the few, will be labeled as nutjobs conspiracists and may wake up one morning to see the ATF and FBI standing in our front yard with a megaphone telling us to come along peacefully.  I think we are all a little complacent and think that if we don't get it done, somebody else will. 

We all need to get off out butts and do something before somebody does it for us.

These trucks were stopped and told that they could only get into the capitol if they had verifible  loads to deliver otherwise, they were not allowed in. Maybe we should not have warned them we were acommin'.

Jared, I agree with you more than you can possibly thank. I have stated in other post here, the same feelings that you hold. People will not take the time to save their rights, when they are gone, they will not be given back. Then the bitching will start, how did this happen, who did it, we fix this right here and now, NOT! I hate to make this statement, but I believe down deep in my heart, this war has been lost, there is not recovery. Yes as you stated, I will be waiting for the FBI & ATF with local law enforcement to knock on my door or hell just kick it in & try to take me away. The more we speak the Truth, makes us that much more of a target.

ManforFreedom, you are so right.  My sons told me that with all the emails and letters that I have sent and petitions I have signed protesting our government and illegal immigration, that I am probably on a list somewhere, DHS or DOD, as a subversive. I don't care. Let them come and get me. I still will tell them they suck to their face! Frankly I would rather be targeted for standing up for my country than watching it go down the drain.

I have talked to my friends & family about all this and a lot of them say "I give up, we can't win" or " naw, that ain't happening" I do not understand this attitude. I will not give up on educating them and encouraging them to take action now, not later.  Some are concerned but do nothing, just whine. I will continue to do my part and pray that something happens to make them wake up and smell the coffee.

Even scarier than nobody participating is the fact that the truckers we all stopped outside of D.C.  Isn't that our right to peaceful protest?  Was somebody from Mexico visiting the Whitehouse that day?  Maybe they were delivering payroll that day........We'll never know.

Uhgggg! I feel your pain! I've kind of just resolved that it is going to have to start getting real painful for most people before they do anything.

Did the Big Rigs have a PR person? That is one way the Left wins hands down is controlling the media. We need to get people with cameras (phones and youtube even) that can get the American cause some air time.

Thanks for the Link, Lady Patriot. The info is there, the police did interfere with the rally !  Manfor freedom: the media is conspiring to keep our actions in the dark. Don't give up hope yet, my brother! Things are happening and the message is getting out.  Never has the media reported on our side (no matter how large the crowd) except to call us racist or vigilantees. This is the way it will continue to be, yet we are rallying, acting in defence of our beliefs. Maybe soon the police will knock on our doors, and then we will ACT TO DEFEND ourselves, our rights and our country. Not yet though, not yet.

Do you think Jorge Bushie will let one of those filthy truckers get any where near the "WHITE HOUSE" ain't gonna happen you know it may be carrying a bomb that was brought across the open borders.

mdcyguy, I don't know if they had a PR person or not. I know that it was heavily publicized in the Hold their Feet to the Fire website but other than that I  have no clue. 

It is already painful for several of these people but they just do't seem to get it. You know the old saying about the horse and the watering hole.

The fact is that there is no action on our part which can get their "attention".  Politicians have insulated themselves from the people. They have even tired of our emails and phone calls (though we won that battle a few days ago, it will reappear again to silence us). They wish us to just go away and let them work on "taking care of us".  Personally I am offended by their work, their "care" of my rights and person. The situation can only be described as an abomination compared to the beliefs of the Founders of this nation.  Lady Patriot wrothe "it is already painful for several of these people..."  I doubt they even note our existence much less feel pain.

Sparks, I was talking about some of the people I know that refuse and /or ignore the seriousness of the situation.;they are feeling the pain of what is happening in this country but won't stand up and do anything about it, Those damn politicans don't feel anything except to see how full their wallets are. And you are correct sir, our exsitance is only necessary so they can collect taxes from us to fund all their BS legislation that is for everyone and everything except us; otherwise, to them, we are nothing.

Well, I hope we can get our act together & take it on the road, it is all in the planning. We must set a date about 3 to 4 month out, inform everyone here & in our email list. Once we pick the place & get a COMMITMENT from people to show up & not find excuses to not show up, I will then with the help of others get the attention of the news paper, national news and local news. We must find the one thing that will make sure to get us noticed and our voices heard, Make the stand with Constitution in hand, everyones hand & Bill of Rights with the Declaration of Independence. Then have every law abiding American armed with a firearm, I bet this will get Attention & Coverage. Why because we just got serious & they know it. As far as the Government coming to get me, let them, I would rather die fighting to retain the FREEDOMS that are ours & insure my children & yours have GOD given rights. I am tired of the bullshit & lies, constent striping of our culture, freedom & liberties. But lets protect the damn wetbacks crossing over illegally to ensure our Government stays in power to suppress us.
