I have searched FireSociety for information on the case against Border Agent, Nicholas Corbett. Without finding any information. I just read an AP piece on this case that is once again disheartening. Disheartening from the aspect of lack of support for our U.S. Border Agents and our U.S. justice system accepting the testimony of three other Mexicans who were also attempting to surreptitiously enter our nation. If the testimony of our Border Agents is always going to be assumed to be without credibilty, we need new agents. However, we know that is not the case. We need our government to support these agents in their lonely, perilous duties. And the absolute gall of the Mexican government's condemnation of the event. The same Mexican government that not only practices human rights violations as a matter of routine procedure, but does not practice a policy of human rights themselves. What kind of national society do we now live in ? Our justice, congressional and administrative branches of government appear to be operating on an agenda of their very own. Forgeting the wishes of the majority of it's citizens. If the Mexican government is going to have more influence on the U.S. rule of law than the the U.S. citizens and those we have assigned to protect our nation, all is certainly lost. Prepare to surrender.

There is a video of what happened. It is supposed to be on you-tube that someone leaked, but I found the link to it on www.immigration watchdog.com! It is sort of fuzzy, but it looks to me like the illegal was throwing something at him, probably a rock as he said!I would have shot him too. This is the same as Ramos and Compean, another railroad job! They are really trying hard to find out who leaked the video.Surprise, cant have the american people seeing the truth. The witnesses are the illegals brothers, and of course theyre liars! The Border Patrol Union all voted today to give a vote of no confidence to their boss,David Aguliar,Bushs lackey, and I think to the Bush Administration for their lack of border enforcement. They said the border is no better, and thousands are pouring in every day.I wouldnt even have been photographed with him when he visited Yuma last week!
The video linked at immigration watchdog is not of the shooting incident in Arizona. It is a separate incident that took place on March 26th in California.
Authority without freedom is tyranny. Freedom without authority is anarchy. There must be a balance of freedom and authority.
