Judge orders 'gay' agenda
taught to Christian children
Rules kids need teachings to be
'engaged and productive citizens'

A federal judge in Massachusetts has ordered the "gay" agenda taught to Christians who attend a public school in Massachusetts, finding that they need the teachings to be "engaged and productive citizens."

U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf yesterday dismissed a civil rights lawsuit brought by David Parker, ordering that it is reasonable, indeed there is an obligation, for public schools to teach young children to accept and endorse homosexuality.

Wolf essentially adopted the reasoning in a brief submitted by a number of homosexual-advocacy groups, who said "the rights of religious freedom and parental control over the upbringing of children … would undermine teaching and learning…"

David and Tonia Parker and Joseph and Robin Wirthlin, who have children of school age in Lexington, Mass., brought the lawsuit. They alleged district officials and staff at http://estabrook.lexingtonma.org/"> face="Times New Roman" color="#0000ff">Estabrook Elementary School violated state law and civil rights by indoctrinating their children about a lifestyle they, as Christians, teach is immoral.

"Wolf's ruling is every parent's nightmare. It goes to extraordinary lengths to legitimize and reinforce the 'right' (and even the duty) of schools to normalize homosexual behavior to even the youngest of children," said a statement from the pro-family group http://www.massresistance.org"> face="Times New Roman" color="#0000ff">Mass Resistance. It also

http://www.massresistance.org/docs/pa... face="Times New Roman" color="#0000ff">is making available background information about the lengthy dispute.

"In the ruling, Wolf makes the absurd claim that normalizing homosexuality to young children is 'reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy.' According to Wolf, this means teaching 'diversity' which includes 'differences in sexual orientation.'

"In addition, Wolf makes the odious statement that the Parkers' only options are (1) send their kids to a private school, (2) home-school their kids, or (3) elect a majority of people to the School Committee who agree with them. Can you imagine a federal judge in the Civil Rights era telling blacks the same thing – that if they can't be served at a lunch counter they should just start their own restaurant, or elect a city council to pass laws that reflect the U.S. Constitution?" the organization said.

Lawyers for the families said they already had planned an appeal of the judge's opinion.

But Wolf's claims followed very closely the reasoning submitted earlier in a brief by Human Rights Campaign, the ACLU, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders and other advocates for the "gay" agenda.

Earlier, Mass Resistance President Brian Camenker had wondered why such national groups were "so interested in a parent's right to decide what moral issues are taught to his children by adults in elementary schools, especially regarding homosexuality."

"They must see David Parker's case as quite a threat to their ability to push their message on children," he had said. His organization
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/pa... face="Times New Roman" color="#0000ff">has posted information about the judge's ruling on the Internet for readers to review.

But the judge concluded that even allowing Christians to withdraw their children from classes or portions of classes where the religious beliefs were being violated wasn't a reasonable expectation.

"An exodus from class when issues of homosexuality or same-sex marriage are to be discussed could send the message that gays, lesbians, and the children of same-sex parents are inferior and, therefore, have a damaging effect on those students," he opined.

"Under the Constitution public schools are entitled to teach anything that is reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy," the judge wrote. "Diversity is a hallmark of our nation. It is increasingly evident that our diversity includes differences in sexual orientation."

And, he said, since history "includes instances of … official discrimination against gays and lesbians … it is reasonable for public educators to teach elementary school students … different sexual orientations."

If they disagree, "the Parkers and Wirthlins may send their children to a private school …[or] may also educate their children at home," the judge said.

Parker was arrested and jailed in Lexington in April 2005 over his request – and the school's refusal – to notify him when adults discuss homosexuality or transgenderism with his 6-year-old kindergartner. That despite a state law requiring such notification.

The incident made news around the nation and even Gov.
Mitt Romney agreed with Parker.

However, in April 2006 the same school presented the book "King and King," about homosexual romances and marriage, to second-graders and again refused to provide notification.

Parker and other parents followed with the federal civil rights lawsuit, alleging school officials were refusing to follow state law.

Just days later, David Parker's son, Jacob, was beaten up at Estabrook Elementary, officials said. MassResistance said a group of 8-10 kids surrounded him and took him out of sight of "patrolling aides," then pummeled and beat him.

"The state must fight 'discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation' in ways that 'do not perpetuate stereotypes,'" the lawyers for the school district had argued at an earlier motions hearing. They also explained to the judge that, in their opinion, parents have no right to control what ideas the school presents to elementary schoolchildren.

"David Parker's dilemma … threatens the parental rights and religious freedom of every Massachusetts parent, and indirectly every parent in America," said John Haskins of the Parents' Rights Coalition.

"As the Lexington schools themselves are arguing, the state's right to force pro-homosexuality indoctrination on other people's children arises directly from former Gov. Mitt Romney's nakedly false and unconstitutional declaration that homosexual marriage is now legal."

Haskins said when the Massachusetts state Supreme Court demanded homosexual marriages in the state, it didn't have the constitutional or legal authority to order the governor to act or to order the Legislature to make any changes, and the creation of same-sex marriages in Massachusetts actually was accomplished by executive order from Romney.

That would mean we are under a dictatorship. Home school looks good.

"an obligation, for public schools to teach young children to accept and endorse homosexuality."

"diversity"--------It would seem to be a ruling GOD. I would hope citizens refuse to bow. The word says God is a jealous God.

"Parker was arrested and jailed in Lexington in April 2005 over his request – and the school's refusal – to notify him when adults discuss homosexuality or transgenderism with his 6-year-old kindergartner. That despite a state law requiring such notification."-------  We are seeing persecution.

"and the creation of same-sex marriages in Massachusetts actually was accomplished by executive order from Romney."---------That dosen't sound good.

That comment is totally unconstitutional and just plain demonic. Another guy who thinks our children belong to the state.

Gay Agenda?  Just what is this gay "agenda"?

Oh - you must mean equal treatment under the law regardless of gender, race, faith or non-faith, national origin or sexual orientation.

Boy is THAT a scary concept.

Head for the hills! Dig a new bunker!  Listen to the voices and stay home to clean the guns!

The U.S. Constitution is coming!  The U.S. Constitution is coming!

equal treatment

I think it sounds more like forced acceptance.

If you don't know what the gay agenda is, you live in a hole.  A person has every right to have their own personal beliefs about the lifestyle of another.  Many people believe homosexuality is wrong.  We should not have to subject our children to learning about a perverted lifestyle at any age.  Will pedophiles be the next to demand we teach about their lifestyle as well?

This has nothing to do with equal treatment.  Kids have their entire lives to learn about all the ills of the world.  They should be allowed to be kids.  At a young age, they don't even understand heterosexuality completely yet.  Quit abusing our children by teaching them things when they are not ready just to push forth a liberal agenda.

Frankly, I think any school system that teaches these things to young children should be tried for child abuse.  Young kids are not emotionally or psychologically ready to learn about it.

Mom -

Hardly a hole, I live in the real world - not the bizarre theme park many conservatives live in where up is down and down is up.

Surely you know that pedophilia and homosexuality are completely different issues.

Pedophilia is an unspeakable crime and virutally all pedophiles are hetrosexual men.  That is a statistical fact.

Being gay is a biological fact of life.

True, many people believe that homosexuality is wrong. But like it or not, the U.S. Constitution applies to and protects all of us - straight, gay, black, white, brown, yellow, religious, non-religious - in short, every American.

The Constitution is a secular document, with no reference what so ever to a god or other type of higher being.

I support your right to raise your children as you see fit - just as my wife and I raised our son - just as he and his wife will raise our two grandchildren as they see fit.

Shielding kids from the real world and keeping them in a hole of denial does more harm than good in long run.

Children must shielded from harm but never shielded from the facts.

The depth of your analysis is, well, not very deep.  You must be a graduate of the Coulter School of Infantile Ranting we've heard so much about lately.  Congratulations for graduating with honors.

Yeah, I know exactly what site this is.  The real question is - what parallel universe do you reside in.  Oh that's right - the one where fact is abandoned in favor of irrational fear and paranoia. A world where choosing to hate and remain hopelessly ill-informed, passing those values to one's children, is a prerequisite for taking up residence.

Nice try dude - better luck next time.

Somehow we let the queers out of the closet and God got shoved in. He is not happy about that and neither should the 97% of we decent Americans. Twenty years ago a queer would have been shamed back into the closet hanging their head in shame. Child molesters (proven to come just as much from the queer ranks as from the hetero ranks) will have free reign on children in the next twenty. They will claim it as their right. Read the goal from NAMDA. Spells it out quite well.

Don't you just love the way the libs group the queers with race etc.? Like it's a legitimate excuse for equality or something.

Arby -

Do you ever think for yourself or just parrot far-left Web sites? From a previous post I got the ideas you wouldn't even know who Glenn Beck was or what you should think about him unless you got your msrching orders from Media Matters, the Daily Kos or the Daily Worker.

Check these other articles out.  The gays really do have an agenda to silence anyone who is in opposition to them.  This is infuriating to me.  We better start fighting for our rights or we won't have any.

I don't know what's happening in your state but these are just a few in California.  Here's one more.

Click here: WorldNetDaily: 'Spanking-ban plan threatens parental rights' *****************************************************

AB 16 is a highly controversial bill. It would mandate the expensive HPV vaccine be administered to all California girls, in public or private or private home schools, before they enter seventh grade, or else they’ll be held back. While this new vaccine may be promising, it is no cure-all. So should 11- and 12-year-old girls be forced to get it, and their parents have no choice in the matter?

AB 16 mandates that California girls receive a painful series of shots to provide temporary immunity from most strains of Human Papilloma Virus, which can cause cervical cancer. HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, which the State of California apparently expects all teenage girls to catch. But here’s the real catch. These involuntary injections will be done WITHOUT WRITTEN PARENTAL PERMISSION.

Don’t children belong to their parents, rather than the state? This new vaccine should be offered, not mandated. CCF will be there March 13 at 1:30 p.m. when AB 16 is heard in the Assembly Health Committee, Room 4202 of the State Capitol Building. If you live in the Sacramento area, you need to be there too for this hour-long hearing.

But wherever you live, please call your assemblymember right now and tell him or her to “Oppose AB 16. This bill tramples parental rights! It mandates the sexually-transmitted HPV vaccine on girls without written parental permission!”

Crazy bill alert: Is my mother a “child abuser”?
Disguised as a child-protection bill, Democrat Assemblywoman Sally Lieber's AB 755 equates loving, corrective discipline with hateful, harmful abuse. When Lieber introduced AB 755, which criminalizes parents who use a switch, a spanking stick, a spanking paddle, a belt, or any other spanking implement, I got on the phone to my mother right away. “Mom, you’re a child abuser!” I said jokingly. “You spanked us kids with a stick. And Grandma was a child abuser too – she spanked you with a wooden spoon!”

But my mother was shocked and appalled to hear about AB 755. She said she loved us kids which is why she spanked us to correct us when we were really defiant. She said she used the “spanking stick” because when we repeatedly disobeyed her words, her hand could not cause the corrective sting to our buttocks that the stick did. She reminded me that I was better for those times I deserved a spanking, and I had to agree. “Who do these politicians think they are?” she demanded to know. I hadn’t heard Mom that worked up in a long time.

If you’re disturbed by the thought of good parents being arrested because they occasional spank their defiant children to correct them, please do your part to stop AB 755. Because if you don’t speak up now, a policeman could haul off good parents in handcuffs, then to the courthouse, then to jail and “re-education counseling.”

However, if enough people speak up and FLOOD SACRAMENTO with phone calls, emails and faxes, the Governor and hopefully some Democrat legislators will realize the unpopularity of this outrageous bill. Remember, good parents give both soft love and tough love when needed for the good of their children’s character.

1. MAKE A PHONE CALL: If you haven’t called Sacramento yet, please do it today. And if you’ve already called, ask three friends to call Sacramento. Tell your assemblymember, state senator and Governor Schwarzenegger to “Oppose AB 755. This bill equates loving corrective discipline with hateful, harmful abuse will criminalize many good parents who occasionally spank.”

Here are some facts from the real world:

Homosexuals commit a disproprtionate number of child sex abuses. Even though heterosexuals outnumber homosexuals by about 20 to 1, homosexuals commit one third of child molestation cases.

Homosexuality is a deviant lifestyle.  Calling it alternative does not change that.

Pedophiles are a subculture in the gay community.  NAMBLA has been admitted to New York's Coucil of Lesbian and Gay organizations and the International Gay Association.

And, I wholeheartedly believe it is a parent's job and duty to shield his child from the real world when they are little.  To do otherwise is neglect and abuse.  Kids grow up and learn about the world in their own time.  Forcing something on them too early is wrong.  We tell our kids not to play in the street, to watch for cars, not talk to strangers, etc.  Should we just let the real world allow them to be hit by cars and adbucted by strangers?  No, we shield them when they are small.  That is our job.

Disagreeing with a person's lifestyle also does not equate to hatred of that person.  I am sick of liberals saying that.

Example: Have you heard of NAMBLA?

It's the North American Man Boy Love Association.

That's child sex abuse, SANCTIONED by Adult Gay men.

Sexual orientation is not in the constitution, nor has it ever been. Sex is a male or female in body.....not what you choose in your head to be right. Otherwise pedifiles and rapists and even those who murder for a sexual thrill are protected too....dang!!!! Where do people get this stuff from. Dont people even read the constitution? Well I guess there was a time that I didnt too untill people started forcing their twisted version down my throat and my childrens. Orientation just does not exist in that document. Theres no such law. Stick to reality and what the law says, not what you want it to say.
