Bush uses NAFTA to allow Mexican truckers to roam free in our Country

Tonight on Lou Dobbs there wa a story about Mexican Truckers being allowed to cross the border at will and travel anywhere in the country. I think that since the congress has said that they will not give master puppet Bush a renewal of his "fast track" powers to deal with international trade, that the NAU has been "fast tracked" things are happening fast and we had better wake up soon. If you can't seem to motivate yourselves for your own good just take a look at the chidren in your life, whether it be your child, a grand child, a neighbors child or a niece or a nephew, will they enjoy the same freedoms that we enjoy or will they  be in a part of the NAU and not enjoy those freedoms. I know I want my nieces and nephews to grow up and enjoy being free. So if for no other reason motivate yourself to do something tell a few friends tell alot of friends but tell someone!!!! we need to do something NOW!!!!!

WASHINGTON - The news that Mexican trucks will be allowed to haul freight deeper into the United States drew an angry reaction Friday from labor leaders, safety advocates and members of Congress.

They said Mexico has substandard trucks and low-paid drivers that will threaten national security, cost thousands of jobs and endanger motorists on the northern side of the border.

The Bush administration's plan to let 100 Mexican trucking companies carry cargo beyond the immediate border area was announced Thursday in Mexico.

"This program will make trade with Mexico easier and keep our roads safe at the same time," Transportation Secretary Mary Peters said Friday. She announced details of the plan in El Paso, Texas, at the Bridge of the Americas, which connects to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Great news.  All we need are a few hundred thousand more big rigs on the road -- bring on the dirty old dilapidated has beens with graffiti scribbled all over.  It'll just give us more to read while we're sitting in uncontrollable gridlock. 

I haven't figured out if Bush is drinking Kool Aid - or if he's just plain stupid and doesn't have a brain in his head. It's obvious he's not a visionary, 'cause if he was he could see our bleak future as bright as WE DO.

I noticed that they didn't have the guts to announce this plan in the United States!  The cowards!  I have thought that bush has been drinking the kool-aid for a long time as well as maybe a few other things.  He never looks normal when he is at the podium!  We need to make him answer for this one.  I'm pretty sure that it would be a good time to demand that him and his buddy Cheney were brought up for impeachment.  Talk about going against his oath to protect the U.S.! 

I emailed all three Reps.yesterday.I asked all three why this man has not been impeached yet.I want an answer,and if I dont get one in a few days,I'll email asking again,until I do get one.Of,course one is Arlen Specter,so he is useless.Bush does not care a bit about America,or americans.Tom Tancredo said, that to Bush,the Constitution Of the United State's is just a piece of paper!Does that tell you how much he cares?And Chertoff is on the committee for the SPP plan.As Glenn Beck said,they are all such liars!I got this off The Stien Report today.The Minutemen,and others are having a "March For America",in Washington on June14-16.One of their commenters posted the site for it.I'm going to send at least a contribution.I dont drive,so I dont know about going.Im not even sure anyone is invited.I will have to go back and look.Looked pretty good though!

Can anyone just imagine what its going to feel like to all our poor veterans,when and if they can come home from Iraq and Afganistan?This tratior president sent them off to fight and die for another country and people,and while theyre gone,he turns their country over to Mexico,or into a North American Union while they are dying,and getting maimed in someone else's country.Talk about ultimate treason!

We, the people, are not in control of our country.  I don't know that we ever have been, really.

Renee......I checked this out and thought this is worth its own thread. The majority on this board are in favor of a march as the best means of  letting our government know we are fed-up.

I don't know how to start one but would encourage you to.

Gail M - There will be a march!  Check this site.  I have posted it in several areas.  Please everyone go and at least donate $5. $10 $15., $20, $50. anything will help to get this thing up and running.  This is a great site and well worth the investment.  Check out the porta pottie link.  This is just great! I checked out the states that are participating.  There are still states that need to have people help to get it set up and on its way to having the march.  If you can help then by all means figure out a way to get the people together to get it up and running.

Have you heard about the 97 foot long trucks that will be on the highway?  These are trucks that will have piggy backs attached one after another!  Talk about dangerous!
