If you would like to receive good, solid, accurate news about the Middle East, you can subscribe to the weekly newsletter emailed by Bridges for Peace.  This is a Christian non-profit organization that is headquartered in Jerusalem, and does many good things in Israel.  You can go to their website and read up and decide for yourself. 

My biggest concern is the swelling of anti-semitism all over the world, and that Israel loves the United States so much for standing with them.  I believe that Israel will need to make plans for themselves with or without the US in the future.  The day they act without the US supporting them, is the day our country will find itself without G-d's protection and blessing.  As the same people that want to withdraw support from Israel also believe there is no G-d...this is a sad day for sure for the world.  It is also these same people that believe in global warming, global superstorms, and global ice ages which say Noah's flood is a fairy tale.  We are a lawless, and defiant generation that will be made to fall on its knees before the G-d of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac.

I didn't mean to add a new posting line...I meant to add a post to the other Israel lines for posts.  I am sorry. While I have this open, you can also go to www.shoebat.com and read Walid's story of why he left Jihad, and became a Christian and supports Israel.

Why can't Israel fight their own battles?   We are an ally... when did being an ally mean using OUR tax dollar money to fight their battles?

Why should we do anything for Israel? They are our friend, i think not

85% of Americans believe in defending our country and our alllies.   You should spend some time learning who funded George Washington's troops and the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.  Try: Haym Salomon for starters.     Who do you think developed the cell phone?  Who do you think Microsoft got its Internet programming from?  Who do you think developed most of the latest medical advancements?

Do those developments make it OK for them to kill our people?

Israel is turning very soft. They are not the strong Israel of the past. They are actualy negotiating giving up some of Jerusalem to the Palis.....

They are turning much too liberal.....

I don’t think the United States should fund Israel or other foreign countries. When the United States gives billions of dollars to Israel it causes tension in the Middle East and  is not fair to the United States tax payers. United States taxes should benefit United States citizens. Israel does not benefit United States citizens. United States infrastructure is deteriorating. United States turnpikes are being sold to foreign investors. Millions of United States citizens don’t have health insurance.  Millions of United States children are living in poverty. The United States needs to invest in itself.

I completely agree, Maria - all is fine and good to be "allies" - but when did being an "ally" turn into funding and FIGHTING battles for said "ally".   I, personally, do NOT want to pay with American lives or tax dollars fighting any more battles for Israel.   It's time for Israel to stand up for themselves.

Israel is being pressured into giving up more land. Any nation that does this is not on good terms with G-d.  Furthermore, the Bible says any person that curses Israel will be cursed, & anyone blessing Israel will be blessed.  You must all be from a generation that has learned American history by omission.  You also must live west of the Mississippi.  You'll sing a different tune when you live each day waiting for the other shoe to drop.  In that event you will appreciate friends if our combat abilities are ever tactically compromised.

I do not think God wants the United States to fight Iran or any other country for Israel. I do not feel pro Israeli lobbyists respect United States citizens when they lobby Congress to wage war on Israel's behalf.
