We The People - United We Stand

I know this is a discussion site, but I'm more a solution oriented person than a symptom person...so I'm going to keep throwing this out there on as many of the threads as I can, until it sticks or someone can prove to me it won't work.

I truly believe that the only way we are going to get our government to pay attention to us (and stop what they are doing) is if we organize under one moniker, like the "Patriots" or the "Minutemen" (or whatever works) and march on Washington one or two million strong.  Like I said before, I've been told that there are only about 2.4 million men and women serving in all the branches of the military.  If we marched on DC with two million strong and organized, with ex military, labot unions, legal immigrants, and legal US citizens, you don't think they would sit up and pay attention?  It would be a sacrifice for every one who attends, but it would be worth the statement and the commitment to act that we need to change the direction this is going. 

I believe if we started a membership drive through the talk radio media and all the illegal immigration and renew America sites, to join a Patriot group as a united front against this corruption, maybe spearheaded by someone like Tom Tancredo...tell me someone... you don't think this would work?  I truly believe it will. 

If we can organize 2 million people nation wide, and I know there are far more than that nation wide that are advocates against the corruption in our government, the polls show close to 80%, we can easily send the message to Washington that 2 million can become a firestorm of 20 million and rising.

There are less than 400 in Washington that we are standing against.  400 against 2 million, against 80%, WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE SOMEBODY?  Why are the few scaring the majority so severely.  What can they do to us that we can't do to them if we try?  Put us in jail?  Put us ALL in jail.

Think again. 

A pinpoint of light in a pitch black room will illuminate the entire room.  Yehshua said that all things held in darkness would be brought to light and that by standing firm we will gain life.  Psalms 94 verse 13  says He has grated us relief from days of trouble until a pit can be dug to trap the wicked.  

I dare say we are in those days of relief, but what we do while we are here will determine the outcome of the pit that is dug to trap the wicked.

If sites like Fire Society and others are here for discussion of important topics, how much more were they established, if not for finding the solutions to and implimenting those solutions to these very important issues?

I believe this is the beginning to the solution.

I myself am not the leader type like you seem to be but I do know how to write letters, print flyers and help organize. If we want a better tomorrow for our children (and I have one that I hope will have a better tomorrow, )then inaction is not an option.

There are discussions and then there is solutions and going after the the desired outcome. Last year 100,000 's of illegals marched in the streets across this country, Are we not capable of this too? are we just chewing the fat off the bone or are we people of action like our forefathers that created this Great nation? I am not advocating violence or anything but a peaceful March that would get our message across to the powers that be, who are sure darned determined to undermine my rights,and security.

There were Liberals that marched on Washington a few weeks ago, my God are we not as capable as them? is our cause less worthy than those who oppse all that is good in this country?

I agree with what  has been said, and they call us the "silent majority" for a reason.  We are TOO DAMN SILENT !!!  It is time for a change. We need to stand up and sound off to get our Country back from the far left.  They are forcing this Country down a road of no return.  I can't understand why they can't see the handwriting on the wall.  Why would they want to loose their freedom's ??  Their security ??  , etc, etc.  Could it be that they are simply not intelligent enough to see that far in the future ???  IF we could get a 2 million man march organized in Washington it would turn into an all out riot as the far left would infiltrate the march and start trouble.  Then place the blame on the organizers.  Could it be that we don't get organized because we are responsible persons who raise our children with the correct values ??  We work at regular jobs and don't have the time to leave home for a March ??  How does the "left" get all these people to show up ??  Do they provide them with drugs ??  Are they on welfare and don't work anyway ??  How can so many afford to gather for a weekend and spew their venom ??  I guess I'm just too naive..  Help me here.. 

I've put out some " feelers" here on getting a rally going. Not much luck, not enough people will get off their ass and do anything to stop this madness. Are you familar with the work of Frosty Woolridge? His group was through here and very few people showed up. What really may be the end our our country is apathy. I'll keep trying, will never give up, as usual, a few may have to give their lives to save many.

It would seem the most prudent way to succeed with a march of this magnitude would be to apporach the millions of "We the People" on the East coast who are only an hour or so drive from Washington.  Those of us who are too far or cannot go for one reason or another can support the march in many other ways by helping get all your friends and family members involved, as well as business associates. 

For those who do want to come no matter where they are, every person who works has sick days they most likely don't take, but can.  My belief is the price of a plane ticket and hotel room for a day is worth the price of my and my childrens freedom?  I know it is.  

Every effort to help a cause like this out will not go unblessed.  If those of you out there truly want to help organize the United We Stand march, don't worry about what we can't do because of opposition, focus on what we can do and stand firm in your conviction and commitment.  And contact me at inamericasince1700@yahoo.com.

Where was it that you tried to get a rally together?  Many things have changed and transpired since then.  If Frosty tried before, I would encourage him to join forces and work to make it happen again.  Like I said, there is power in numbers.  We all know that.  Every day I talk to people who vow they would be on board to do this.  Look at the Bikers for Freedom, the group of ex cops and Viet Nam veterans who rode across the country for this cause, we can start by rallying their support and others like them that have already and are still protesting.  I logged onto a site yesterday where people are gathering every Saturday for two hours in the morning to protest at day labor sites and businesses who employ illegals.  They would be good to have contact their support base. 

I believe the key will be to get people like Tom Tancredo involved, and Dana Rohrbacher and others like them who still beleive in America and our Constitutional rights as citizens.  What better way to spearhead Tom Tancredo's campaign than to have him be the head of this rally against the corruption in our government.  What better way to get the whole country paying attention to him and his run for the presidency. 

This will be a march of the birth of a new political party, all of the evangelicals, the growing tide of independents who want a fresh start in Washington, all the Republicans and Democrats who feel they have no good choice but more of the same.  I've heard it hundreds of times already on this site alone.  How many other sites are there, hundreds, where people just like us are rallying to this cause.

This should not be a march just about illegal aliens, but about the bigger picture...the salvation of our country as a nation by standing up to the corruption in our government.        

If at first you don't succeed, TRY TRY AGAIN.  

Are you, or any of us willing to live with the recourse of not making this happen. Like I said before, I'd rather die trying than not try at all and live a life of suppression, anxiety and fear.

Look I am all for Marching in the streets I have been saying since I came to this forum that the ONLY way to stopwhat is happening in this country is to have not a million  people in one city for a march but tens of millions marching in many citeis all over the country. The only way this is going to happen is with lots of educating of the public, forcing them to wakeup. having a march and only having a couple of people can actually be counter productive as the MSM will jump right on that and portray the marches as "a fringe group of protesters"  a movement like this can not afford to have that kind of coverage as most of the public watches MSM and unfortunately they believe whatever the MSM tells them. They have to be educated.. We need a march of undeniable numbers and a strong pointed message.. we can not just jump the gun and have a bunch of people out there that don't know specifically why they are there...ever see coverage of an event and the MSM goes around and finds the ONLY few idiots at the march that have no clue as to what is going on....the MSM uses that to discredit things they don't agree with.  So if you want to do this do it right. Have a discussion, decide on a concise and direct message. Put out many ideas and get together as a group and decide what that message will be and then educate the people all over the country and begin to organized a march. Imean I wish we could get millions in the streets Monday, AINT GONNA HAPPEN. do it right and it will make a differnece, don't do it right an be labeled by the MSM as a "fringe Group" and you movement will be discredited. I am all for this but I will only participate if it has a good massage. So tell me what you think. BTW in conacting tlak radio you will find that they want that Direct and Concise message.

Marching is all well and good! (if eye candy is the goal).

However a one dimensional attack is not or should not be the goal here.

From years of experience I can tell each of you the 'establishment' will do what it must to protect itself and those aligned to it and with it!

I can't say this more plainly; start a new organization, political party!

Combine our resources, hire major law firm/s, hire major advertising firm/s, hire political demographers, hire polling services, spokespersons etc.

Do it like it has been done before, because it has been! 

There are so damn many things going on in this country and most are fatal to our way of life!

Draft a platform (I will write it if need be).

50% of the people do not vote, their votes should be the goal, the other 50% already messed things up too much.

 Stop looking for someone to save yourselves, and start saving your own - selves!

Stop being the sheep and become the shepard!

Say there were 500,000 people who agree to march, and each one committed to formation of new party (instead) and contributed $200.00 to the birth of new party, that would be 100 million dollars!

Each then contributes $25.00 per month, that is another 12 million 500 hundred thousand per month ($12,500,000).

Money is the 'Mother's Milk' of politics, and combined even in modest numbers we have more of it! 

As membership grows in new party so do the coffers and so does our power! You want media attention earn it!  (BUY IT WHEN YOU HAVE TO) You want to back others who seek political office, find them, become one yourself, and back them with a new party, show them you are not just a person who talks, or looks good on tv in a march!

Sure, a march would look good on tv and be the 'talk' for a few days, but it's effect will not last! Would be a 'feel good' statement at best.

The illegals are organized!  Special Interest groups abound, united against us, lobbyist  influences, foreign entities doing the same.

We the People, if organized are the most powerful force to be reckoned with. 

 Trancredo or anyone else, would still have to deal with corrupt elected officials, after all the Presidency does not operate in a vacuum!

Change must be from top-bottom, federal and state, and judicial top-bottom federal and state!

We call it a system, because it has many parts, therefore attacking all parts is required!

Well, I'm tired and feel ill tonight, so not wanting to waste more time, I fear that is all I have accomplished.............again.

I really like all your ideas, especiall about raising funds for a new party.  There is a group that's organizing a huge rally in Wahsington DC on the 14th -15th of June and the 16th in every capital of every state.  The web site is:  http://www.lframerica.com/march2.html

Going on that site and suggesting that they enact the fund raising ideal you set forth, and the need to organize a new political party, is true and upholds the verbage on their site, and the verbage in the Declaration of independence.  I would love to see Tom Tancredo lend his support to the rally and spearhead the drive to create the new political party.  I truly believe it would catapult him into the limelight and set his bid for presidency on fire nationally. 

He's the first candidate for president, in over 20 years, that I truly believe in.  He reminds me of many of our country's most beloved and patriotic presidents, Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Kennedy.

YOU ARE NOT WASTING YOUR TIME.  None of us wastes time fighting for our freedoms from tyrany.  Draft your platform and post it here, on FairUS.org, NumbersUSA, on the link for the march, on Tom Tancredo's web site.  Send it to Tom himself and ask him to work with you on forming the verbage of a new party.   He may or may not be interested, but it's worth a try, especially if your platform is legitimate, truly representing the voice of the majority of legal American citizens. 

Everyone is ready, and I for one, would like to hear what your thoughts or ideals are.  I'd be willing to help draft the platform if you're serious.  I'm sure several other great Patriotic Americans, who are at the forefront of the fight we are in right now against the corruption in our government and the illegal invasion of our country, would also be willing to help in the drafting of a platform.  Even some of the communicators on this site as well. 

The only difference between now and back when the original colonists were drafting the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, is that they were all relatively close to eachother within the thirteen colonies.  Now we are scattered all over the 51 states....but we have the internet to use,  which gives us the opportunity to communicate, work together and unite.  

I am already contributing monthly to Tom Tancredo's campaign, and would gladly contribute to a cause as worthy as a new party the represents what we the people really want...the values, morals and ideals that were set forth in the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, and the will of the people to be upheld with the utmost integrity and courage.

I believe the time for an American revolution is NOW, and we the people are the power base.  We have to recognize that we ARE that power base and need to act.

I am all for a new party also, fact is though that they are putting all of this stuff in motion and are going to pass it before the next election and then it will be too late, that is why I would push the Marching en masse to stop what they are trying to do. starting a new party though is a great idea if we can stop what is happening because if we don't there will be no opputuniy to start a new party

I have visited the web site.  I have joined.  I looked through the site and listed on the site is Lou Dobbs and they stand with Tom Tancredo he is on one of their pages.  I am a Democrat and I'm of the old class before they got so corrupted.  Now both parties stink!  I voted for Tom Tancredo in this last election and would in a moment vote for him for President!  This is the man if we need someone to try to bring us back from the brink of the end of the United States.  We need someone that knows whats going on in the present.  We can't afford to try to break in a new party that isn't up to date on what is going on.  He is, and I really think he will listen to the people.  I will write to him and see if he would even think of being present at the march in Washington D.C.  The one thing this march needs is people to donate for the porta potties.  They have to have a deposit on them by the end of March.  The law states they have to have them in place to march.  Please put the word out to help fund them.
