Rally for the Freedom of Speech & Expression

We are having a rally in downtown Atlanta on 3/17/2007 at 442 14 th street N.W. It is a rally to show we as a group will not let the government silence us in any way,shape or form. My question to everyone is, You as a person, is there anything you should not be allowed to speak? There is only one answer, (NO!!) if anyone hesitates or makes a comment of yes, well they are ready to be inslaved to the chains of the government. Sorry fella's, not me. People must have thick skin & have common sense. All of which our government thanks we have none of. This rally is not a show of violence, but a show of force, by numbers, of people who will stand their ground.  This isn't for one particular person, but for everyone who believes in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

 We will have American Flags, as well as a copy of the Constitution and The Bill of Rights.  What we are trying to achieve here is an understanding that as Americans, we are not willing to give up any of our God given rights.  As all Americans should be, political correctness should be against the law, not the right to Freedom of Speech or expression.

This is good news. More and more we are seeing Americans who have remained silent for so long finaly speak out.

Having copies of the constitution and bill of rights there is a great idea. These are the foundations of our country. They are FOR America and its people, not documents AGAINST any other nation.

America is good, it's people are as good as anyone else. No common sense tells us we have to embrace or tolerate any culture which seeks to destroy our own. And we ahve the RIGHT under the constitution to defend ourselves against any enemy, foreign or domestic.

 There comes a time when you have to TELL, not ask.

It's be pretty darn good if tbis day follwed a Day for America, when those who could not physically take to the streets, say, because of children at home, had turned away from political-corporate America for one day on March 15th.

 This article written by the Washington Times is a good example of limiting the Freedom of Speech. I find this bill to be a waste of time. Officals in New York must not have any thing better do to you think? Not that I codone the N-word, however it is FREE SPEECH. Whether people like it or not. I am really tired of the whiners out there.

In addition, if this bill passes in New York - next every state will follow. That in my opinion is NOT good.

The problem in Atlanta, across the entire country, is far more serious than people realize.

Since before September 11^th., and with increasing fervor since then, muslims in America have and are waging a war of words using black leaders like Louis Farrakhan and other visible religious personalities to promote Islam as the original African-American's religion while Christianity is for the whites.

And that America is white, one reason why Palestinians said they did not understand why Americans who are black did not side with them.

And muslims in America are working very hard to separate Americans by color in their effort to divide the country for their own Islamic goals in America.

Back to Atlanta: Last September Atlanta community leaders were invited to discuss how to mark the 100th anniversary of a 1906 race riot. The whole two-year campaign was initiated by muslims. For the purpose of--what . . . ?

Another islamic goal in America is to make any spoken or written word disagreeing with islam as a hate crime.

Totally agree here about the Muslims being a big supporter of the slave trade.  I find it ironic that even today, blacks are still being sold into slavery by their own people. And guess who is purchasing them - Muslims - Arabs! Go figure.

Sundown said: I am from NYC, born there, bred there, 'white there!'...I have personally experienced every racial slur in the book as has my son.  Only the Caucasians get in trouble if slurs are used. Only Christians will get in trouble for standing for their religious beliefs. I was out shopping with my niece and son, and some Muslim teens were very irate with a young Christian gentleman preaching Christ on the street corner. They were irate because we believe Jesus is greater than Allah. I told them that if they so chose to believe that Allah was greater than Christ, to be glad that this young man could believe otherwise, because "should we treat you in this country, as this young man would be treated in your native country, you would ALSO be imprisoned or put to death. Don't dare come here and live, and question our freedoms." This shut him up.  I teach my son to be proud of his heritage, but not to undermine the heritage of another. Somehow though, in NYC anyway, one is not permitted to be proud that they are white. Perhaps because of the great mix there, it boils down to even thicker things than color, right down to where one's ancestors came, it goes beyond color there! All I know is, slowly and surely, I became the alien in my own hometown. My son went to private school and it was a nightmare as any public school there. Any time I protested another student’s ill behavior I was labeled a racist should they have happened to be of another race, or even culture other than my own. Which in fact, happened to be the case every time?  I live in New Hampshire now, its like living in Shangri-La, just moved here last May. My son is raised that God values us all equally, irregardless of creed or color, ability or not, gay or straight. I teach him to call NO ONE names.  I teach him to stand on our protestant Christian beliefs, we are evangelical Protestants, and however it is God's judgment, not ours how to deal with the immorality of our day.    

It is not just in NYC where this happens. I live in the Washington DC Metro area and it's deplorable to say the least! I too have my son is a private school. Because of our color we are discriminated against for it and the minute we speak up we are branded the racist or white bigot! Absurd. I get so mad I can not see straight.

However, I have come to the conclusion that when somebody calls you a racist they are really the racist. Color is important to them that is why they use that in the first place. That is the only thing the person has left to say especially when you are right. It is their logic, poor logic I might add.

Unfortunately, I have 6 more years to go before I move out of the state of Maryland all together. I feel like I am held prisoner. The only piece of mind I do have is my son is in a great private school and he does not want to leave until he is complete and that is 6 more years. I am on a personal quest to find another state to live in.

I would like for once to live in a RED state. I work in Virginia, thank God. And a lot of people I work with are trying to convenience me to move to VA. VA is a great state compared to Maryland. But, I would just like to get as far away from this area as I can and never return and VA is not far enough.  

I just wanted to add that on March 17, there's going to be a great march in D. C.  The Gathering

Yes I agree, those who call us a racist unjustly, they are the racists. All races have been guilty of being too wrapped in color, when we should and could really benefit from the diversities in our cultures from food, to style, to experiences. My maiden name being uncommon, it was easy to trace my roots and show my son what he was made of! My son's father is Jewish, so it was easy there to introduce Ty to that aspect of his lineage. I found this to help him a great deal in his identity.

I am sorry that you have a six year wait! Bummer! Good luck in your quest, since you are already in the Northeast, I must say that right now anyway, New Hampshire has been very good to me. My husband has a wish to move back to Pennsylvania. He was born in Watsontown, and the areas around there are beautiful too. Where we live now reminds of Long Island where I was born, it's not too secluded. I don't know that being from a city all my life I could adjust to being 'in the middle of nowhere', although the older I get...!

I just joined  this forum so I am too late to be able to put a dent into the Atlanta event. However, there will be other Atlanta events.  Consider the new onset of hate crimes laws being considered in Washington by the new Congress. This will be a license for liberals to commit Creed Discrimination against Christian Americans.  This is similar to what Hugo Chavez is doing to stamp out opposition media expression in Venezuela.  The forces of the Political Left here in America is still winning this Cultural Civil War because we are not fighting proactively. We need to build a conservative Counter Media to level the communication theatre of this Cultural Civil War if we are to preserve our First Amendment Rights.  We´re facing strong enemies at both the government level and at the communication level and will continue to do so as long as the print media is allied with the political left against us.  Having significant influence over one of the two major political parties in this country is not advantageous enough. The blogs are great and having Fox News is great but we need to penetrate the print media too. We need to build our own Print Media Cartel to counter the leftwing propaganda of the liberal media.  Too many people cannot read blogs because they can´t buy their own computer.

 We got to have print media too as much as the leftist side. We got to break the grip that the political left in the United States still enjoys over the print media.  Communication is what will make one side of this culture war lose and the opponent win. Let us be the winner because the whole country is at stake.
