I received this link on in an email from a member here...Honestly I was shocked. It reads like a list from the Columbo, Gotti or any other Costa Nostra Family but the names of th4e key players  are American or Spanish.

These dinner party guest lists make the Nov, 1957 Apalachin Mafia Meeting bust by the FBI look like childs play.

Mighty scarey who was there then and dead today while others gained a great deal of power.

The President of the United States shall not make any law abridging  the flow of immigration. Those powers are designated by the Constitution to the Congress.  The borders remain open for ONE reason:  Congress has not exercised its authority to enforce existing law or to amend existing law.  Until you quit blaming a President, and put Congressional shoulders to the wheel...you will affect no change in the current border status, unless your primary goal is to complain about a president.  Where is your petition on it with FireSociety or Grassfire?

I don't think anyone is blaming only the president...there are many, many anti-American members of "the elected class" both Democrats & Republicans. I feel confident that most people on this site are vigilant about keeping in constant contact with their representatives. I'm sure Kaye Bailey Hutchinson wishes I would "just go away"....as do the representatives of other states where I own property! You can bet GWB will not institute any law to stop the illegal aliens from invading our country...but then another sure bet would be that GWB will NOT uphold his oath of office(sworn to on the Bible) ..to enforce our laws & uphold our constitution...he has shown he has complete & total disregard for our constitution, the USA and Americans! Why is he so determined to put our military in harms way for many foreign countries - not just Iraq - when our borders are wide open? If you want a petition, you will have to do it...when I started working I used an adding machine with a crank - "filling in" because most of our men were fighting to keep our country free. Looks like the president & congress are making that a futile effort. Support Emperor Bush if you want - it's your right. But me, I'll support my country...it's my right.

Uh....Bethany Bay I think you need to go refresh on who, what, and where the Federal Government has its power.  But just in case: Congress (Congressional) -- makes law, Supreme Court (Judicial) -- insures law is constitutional, President (Executive) -- enforce law.

So as I look at it the Congressional Branch has indeed made Border laws, the Judicial Branch upheld these laws as constitutional, however the Executive Branch has failed to enforce these laws....So yup I blame King W for the mess our borders are in.

Bethany,

Please don't take this wrong but what is another Petition going to do. Grassfire has presented a Petition with over 304,000 signatures that Bush didn't even ackownledge.

Bush is going to show the worls that he is Right and everyone else is Wrong and that is the Only Way, His Way until he is exposed for what he stands for and intends to do to this country....Sell Us Out Cheap.

I just have to say this. I voted for that man twice and. HE IS AT FAULT!!!! he is pushing this Open Borders thing. He could pardon those brave BP agents with the stroke of a Presidential pen in about 15 seconds. The man has contempt for anyone that dare question any opinion he has. I don't want to argue and I will not comment again on your post Bethany but I think  loyalty to this man has been proven to be misplaced and I am not a person that likes to admit I was wrong very often. The man does not have our (the American People) at heart. He has already sold us out

I have to agree with zman61 on this one. I also voted for him twice and have been very disappointed. If he were running again I would have to vote for him again if it was between him or Kerry, Gore, or Clinton but I am disgusted with his stand on illegal immigration. We have laws in place to prevent illegals from invading this country and they are not being enforced.

I have nothing against people coming here legally, Mexicans included, but that is not the case.

My brother-in-law worked for the Border Patrol for a long time and quit because their hands were so tied. The two BP agents should be released NOW with no strings attached. What is wrong with our President that he would even consider not letting them out? Why would our government take the word of a Mexican criminal over two BP agents? Why does the Mexican government have so much control over what goes on in this country? Why would our government give a flip what they think? There is something very strange going on here when the President and Congress are falling all over themselves bowing and scraping to the Mexican government.

There is still a lot I do like about our President.  I like his family values, his stand on abortion and his diligence in protecting this country from terrorists.  That is why I can't understand his stand on illegals because our Southern border is prime country for terrorists to come across.

I voted for George W Bush in two elections, but now the man I thought  would be a breath of fresh air for the country has made me so-o ashamed of him.  Ashamed to think he is the leader of our country.

Border Guards have been sent a clear message:  If you stop illegal Mexicans in their tracks you risk going to jail.  How many brave, dedicated guards are willing to do their jobs and risk jail and separation from their families?

The injustice done to the two border guards in jail can be reversed by George Bush, but he'd rather serve Mexican interests than the rights of decent, brave American citizens.

Does he think nobody has noticed?  That nobody has figured out the truth?  Well, we have Mr. President.  Why don't you MOVE to Mexico when you leave office?  The eye of history is upon you.  The truth will be printed for future generations to read:  George W. Bush, that pseudo-American, that closet Mexican, betrayed us all.

I do blame congress for the bourders. I blame Bush for not pardoning Ramos and Compean and not checking congress. I blame congress for not keeping Bush in check. And I think we should just throw out all the liberal judges and start over after we impeach Bush and fire some two face congressmen and women. Or would that be an impeachment too. I know, I know....only in my dreams...lol

This is a little off the subject but I just got this in my email.

Dear Carol,

The U.S. House of Representatives will soon vote on HR 254, which establishes “hate crime” legislation. HR 254 will create new special rights for homosexuals under the guise of enhancing law enforcement. It would make “sexual orientation” a protected class alongside race, religion and gender.

The only way this bill can be defeated is with a real grassroots uprising by those who care about the future of their children, families and marriages!

The intent of this law is to force the acceptance and approval of homosexuality on every American, regardless of their religious views. Here is a short summary of HR 254.

The power of a single word.

I'm not sure William Wallace actually shouted, "Freedom!", (like Mel Gibson did in Braveheart), but that word has rung down Scottish history ever since.

During WWII, Churchill didn't have to say the word, victory, to have the weight of the British people behind him.  He simply held up two fingers in the familiar "V for Victory" sign.

In that same war, as American soldiers fought back against the Nazis, a single word drove their effort:  Democracy.

In our country, today, there is a single word that many will not utter, many will not write.  It is tossed aside like it doesn't matter.  The word is illegal, as in illegal aliens, as in all the ILLEGAL aliens flooding across our border from Mexico.

The greatest strength of our democracy is our rights as citizens, whether born here, or legally naturalized.  Extend those rights to ILLEGAL aliens and democracy is diluted for everyone.  Rights are weakened for every citizen.

Ask yourself this:  At what point, after it has become so-o easy to extend the rights of legal citizens to ILLEGAL aliens, will it become so-o easy to limit or curtail, or twist or bend my legal rights?  (Think:  two innocent border guards imprisoned).

Let Mexicans come to this country, but let them go through the proper legal process--as imigrants to this country have done for centuries.  Don't let the fabric of our country be weakened.  Let  the word ILLEGAL have meaning again.

President Bush is the most powerful leader in the world.  He should be our strongest politician.  He must decide to reclaim American democracy.  He must choose to value his country and its--legal--citizens.  He must restore the place for the word illegal in our country's important border dialogue.
