This extreme injustice done to these fine agents will ultimately harm the safety of the Ameican people. The reason, our law enforcement officers are now afraid to do their jobs! They fear that doing their jobs will land them in the same prison.

What has happened to our nation? The American people have spoken loudly that they are sick and tired of the illegals just skimming the border, bankrupting the health care industry, bringing in drugs to give to our children. Yet we hav a President who is not listening, and a minority of Congressman who are. This has become critical, we have Mexican paramilitary criminals coming into our country, escorting in truck loads of drugs, armed with fully automatic machine guns, and our military and police are told to retreat, do nothing, run instead. Those whgo stand up and do the right thing, they are prosecuted and sent to prison.

Americans better wake up and make their voices and votes very clear, because after the wrongful prosecution of Agents Ramos and Compean, our police officers are now reluctant to do anything to illegals, arrest them, and even use force to protect themselves. We are losing our own country to Mexico, Texas was the first to go, and it is not going to get any better until the PEOPLE DEMAND IT!

Till then, they have free reign to come in and break our laws, assault our police officers, transport and sell drugs to our children, and then get full medical benefits on the back of tax paying American citizens.

This is a disgrace! Pardon these agents now and start putting America first instead of Vicente Fox and Mexico!!!

Pardon these agents, give them back their jobs with back pay for all
the time they have been unpaid, and give them a promotion. Anything
less says we are punishing our fine officers for doing theit jobs.

The latest I have heard is that there are now 82 Republicans and 0 Democrats signed onto a bill to give these men a congressional pardon. Diane Fienstein (D) has said she will be pushing to have an Official investigation into the whole situation though. That is the latest I have heard, you may want to check out www.americanpatrol.com and watch Lou Dobbs daily, they both keep up to date on this story. there are also a few other websites I know of www.vdare.com , www.worldnetdaily.com are few of them. There are many more also.

Judicial Watch has filed several Freedom of Information Act requests in the case of Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

  1. Drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila.
  2. Any U.S. government "deals" with Aldrete-Davila.
  3. U.S. government communications with the Mexican government concerning Aldrete-Davila and/or the prosecution of Ramos and Compean.
  4. The participation of U.S. government personnel in coordinating, facilitating and/or approving the lawful entry or entries of Aldrete-Davila into the U.S.
  5. The terms and conditions permitting Aldrete-Davila to lawfully enter the U.S.

Judicial Watch says it is pursuing additional investigative leads in conjunction with its use of the federal open records law to educate the public about the prosecution.

Vincente Fox is no longer the President of Mexico.

Whatever--The prosecution of these two agents is just the tip of the ice-berg.

Follow the money........if the citizens of the US would realize that buying that ounce of pot fuels the problem, and then do something about it, legalize it, increase law enforcement to stop it, something, anything other than what we are doing, then maybe, just maybe occassions like this would not happen.

juxtapose whatever you want to fit the bill busygirl, I applaud most of what you have to say, but....

When you are doing a thing, and it is not working, try another approach.

And as an aside, and to express my personal feelings, I'm totally against amnesty, and legalization.  What we need is to worry about is the "terroization" of our country by drug dealers, enviornmental polluters...etc...

Again, in all instances, follow the money....

This was on WorldNetDaily....I had wondered from the beginning what the real connection was between this agent and the drug smuggler was other than childhood friends. Something just didn't add up, maybe this is it.

Cop called 'double agent'
in Ramos-Compean case
Border Patrol officer accused of helping
drug smuggler who was boyhood friend

I think that with the investigative reporting of WorldNetDaily this case is finally getting to the root of the matter.

U.S. government officials connected to the Mexican drug smugglers.  Who knows how high up the U. S. government ranks the involvement with the Mexican Drug Lords goes.

I'm going out and wipe the dirt off the WorldNetDaily bumper sticker on the back of my pickup truck!

The government talks about homeland security and wants to protect us with the patriot act that takes our rights away and leaves the borders open. The government talks alot and does nothing, just talk! Now the Border Patrol does their job and ends up in Jail. THIS IS SICKINING that idiot from the justice dept. Sutton ought to be in jail too When are you people going to do something about this travisty of so called justice. Corruptrion is rampant in all government departments. I could go on and on about the corruption. I called my congerssman a month ago and he said they were working on it (freeing the two border Patrol gards) I hate to hold my breath waiting for these people do do something. Is any one questioning the Warden of the prison that let Ramos be beaten up. Is SHE still the warden or was she given a better job somewhere else. FOLKS DO SOMETHING NOW about this or are you going to want until you are in jail after they dream up something you did?

I am another American who does not understand why our Country comes in 'second' to these other countries. We hire Border Guards to do just that! Yet, they are not allowed to do their job. I am terribly concerned when our Government grants amnesty to the FELON so that he could testify against the border guards! And I hear that there were 'lies' in order to convict them. I recently heard of another case, but I don't remember the man's name. (Maybe it was AMW last week that I saw that.) He, too, should be in the mix for pardons! (And how many more are there that we don't even know about? Why would anyone want to be a border agent? He has no authority!!!!  And obviously no one to back him up!! This is so terribly unfair and there was no JUSTICE involved! The agents were right! Maybe they didn't follow protocol exactly, but that only deserves a 'slap on the wrist, or suspension. Take it all the way and fire him form his job! But putting him in prison with the same drug dealer will only get him KILLED!!!!  And that punishment does NOT fit the crime!!

Is Mexico so 'hot' on this because these agents are spanish desent, and American citicizens? And why does our Government listen to the other Country who is at fault? It's their bad people, doing bad things in OUR country that got them in trouble in the first place!

I am speaking to everyone I know about this and sending emails as well. I really think our Government has sunk to the lowest on this one!

Someone posted an article on the fact that Bush has already in March 2003 signed a North American Treaty with Canada and Mexico. All of this is just part of implimenting all that hes been working on for years. Congress is soon to push it through as soon as Kennedy and ACLU and La Raza with the Deomocrats finished rewording it to mean what they want. I didnt even know it....he already tried to sell us out years ago. He okd 100 Mexican companies to drive right up into the center of America.

IMHO, I'm no law scholar, but I think that there are several individuals from members of Congress to the President that need to be charged with sedition

"Title 18 > Part I > Chapter 115 > § 2384. If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both. "

Call me extreme, but what they are allowing to be done to the Border Agents is pathetic and seditious.

I agree with you 100% Kerry. Problem is its all the way through Congress. How many can even be trusted anymore to do the right thing. It goes all the way up to the President and through the system to all the crooked lawyers and judges. What a mess. And Corporate America is just as much of a puppet as the rest. We think they are pulling the strings but there are a group of the richest men on earth pulling those strings. 200 years and they have been busy bees.
