Jeb Bush may have shown that he's the only one in the field who can ignite and inspire conservatives. The Washington Post reports his speech this weekend stirred conservative hearts:

"Don't take offense personally if I get mad at Congress," the Republican former Florida governor began. "It's important for us to realize we lost, and there are significant reasons that happened, but it isn't because conservatives were rejected. But it's because we rejected the conservative philosophy in this country."

He added, "If the promise of pork and more programs is the way Republicans think they'll regain the majority, then they've got a problem."

Bush's speech prompted three standing ovations from the audience of hundreds at the National Review Institute's conference at the JW Marriott Hotel, reflecting the widespread concern among conservatives that exorbitant government spending led to the loss of majorities in the House and Senate and concern about whether Republicans would again embrace the traditional principles.

Bushes and Clintons are all CFR lackeys. elect another one and we deserve what they give us. They are all about open borders and One World Government. How about Tancredo. He's for no illegals and closed borders and he's totally against the NAU which is a very important issue

I agree - if the RNC tried to run another Bush for the Presidential office... the country would give the exact same response as everyone on the board has... "no more bush."

I won't vote for another Bush no matter who else is running.  Read my Lips no new taxes, Open Borders & Oil Money Wars, can you imagine what a third one would do?  They both squandered chances to move conservative agendas forward.  Also, they both grew to foresake the average American that put them in office and began serving special interest groups at the expense of the greater good.

I don't care who they try to give the country away to I am not for sale and shall remain a SovereignMan.

I agree NO MORE BUSHES, I regret voting for Bush the second time.He wants amnesty for the illegals in the country, he either lost or never had a veto pen that he should have used on all the bloated spending bills and McCain/ Feingold, plus his prescription drug benefit, no child left behind and he plays too nice with the Dems. The only things I like that he pushed were judges with the exception of Harriet Miers and the tax cuts.I have about had it with the GOP.

No Bush and no Clinton!  America does not need an aristocracy in our presidency - we've already got enough of one in our Congress.

Um...Do you mean this Jeb Bush?

 Jeb Bush Slams the Truth

The truth is useless. You have to understand right now, you can’t deposit truth in a bank. You can’t buy groceries with the truth. You can’t pay rent with the truth. The truth is a useless commodity that will hang around your neck like an albatross all the way to the homeless shelter. And if you think that the million or so people in this country that are really interested in the truth about their government can support people who would tell them the truth, you got another think coming. Because the million or so people in this country that are truly interested in the truth don’t have any money.

--Jeb Bush

Haaaa, haaaa, haaaa,!!!  That's a funny one!  Jeb Bush?  I hope a Bush will never darken the door of the White House again!  People would have to be crazy to ever believe a word that would come out of the mouth of a Bush family member!!!  I mean that for all time!!! They need to add that to the super star Bush's legacy page!!!  No more Clinton's either!  This is not a monarchy that is passed from family member to family member!

As far as I'm concerned, Jeb has no future anywhere in politics because of his brother.  It's too bad because Jeb did some things right.  But the family connection and the fact that his wife is Mexican or Latin American gives me great cause for concern!!!  As stated above--No more Bushes!!!

Then we'd have another president who wouldn't do a damned thing about illegal immigrants.  Remember Tancredo's statement about Miami and Jeb's response?  Jeb celebrates the diversity in his ivory tower while we have to live in the real world....................

I shouldn't have to press anything for English..............
