Community Tip #4: Use the Feedback feature to send your thoughts and suggestions to the FireSociety administrators.
Community Tip #5: The Recent History sidebox tracks the last three items you have read so that you can quickly return to that item. Click on the "Full History" link to see a complete list of your activities.
Community Tip #6: You can narrow the scope of a keyword search by checking the specific Category under the Search box. The Category choice appears and changes as you browse the different categories - try it now.
Community Tip #7: Clicking on an Author's name will take you to that person's profile where you can view all their contributions to the Community. Look for the link at the top of any Article or Quick Tip, or the side of any forum posting.
Community Tip #8: When viewing an Article or Quick Tip, use the links in the sideboxes to discover additional content in similar categories. Remember, the Recent History sidebox makes it easy to find your way back.
Community Tip #9: If you want to print an Article, simply click on "Printer Friendly" to display a page that is optimized for printing.
Community Tip #10: There is an easy way to manage all your subscriptions on the site. Click on "My Library" in the MY ACCOUNT menu and then select the "My Subscriptions" tab to find all your current subscriptions.
Community Tip #11: There is an easy way to keep up with any of the community discussions. FireSociety members can click on the "Subscribe" link on any discussion thread to receive email notifications when new comments are added.
Community Tip #12: Found a good article on FireSociety.com? Email it to a friend and invite them to join the Community. Look for the email link at the top of each Article or Quick Tip.
Community Tip #13: Help grow the Community by referring a friend! Look for the link at the top of the page to invite others.
Community Tip #14: The "My History" feature lets you quickly find Items you have already read. You can always find this link under the MY ACCOUNT menu when you are logged in.
Community Tip #15: Members can click on "My Library" in the MY ACCOUNT menu to see all the items they have authored and contributed to the Community. You must be logged in to use this feature.
Community Tip #16: Access your "Profile" under the MY ACCOUNT menu to change your password or manage your FireSociety subscriptions. You must be logged in to use this feature.
Community Tip #17: Did you know that when you recommend Articles or Quick Tips, you make it easier for other Members to find the best information? Log in and rate item in the "Rating" section at the bottom of the page.
Community Tip #18: Weigh in on valuable Community discussions by adding your own comments to the thread for any Article or Quick Tip. Click on the "Discussion" link for any item to share your thoughts or read other's opinions.
Community Tip #19: Members can set a default timezone in their Profile to have all the community dates and times converted automatically when they are logged in. Click on "My Profile" under the MY ACCOUNT menu.
Community Tip #20: You can choose to block private messages from other members by unchecking the option in your profile. Click on "Edit Profile" under the MY ACCOUNT menu to review your profile options.
Community Tip #21: Sometimes writing down your ideas can be tougher than it should be. Click on the "Authors Guide" in the HELP menu to find instructions, encouragement, and helpful hints so you can contribute to the Community with confidence.
Community Tip #22: The FireSociety forums provide a way for Members to carry on DVR-related discussions with the rest of the Community. The forums are open for all to read but you must be logged in to post new comments.
Community Tip #23: Making it easy to find information is a top priority at FireSociety.com. Look for supporting sideboxes, special pages available from the menu, and our unique History feature to help you track down the best content.
Community Tip #24: Here are two options for getting technical help: (1) Try a Keyword Search or (2) Post message in the FireSociety forums.
Community Tip #25: FireSociety's Integrated Search feature allows you to use one query to search all of FireSociety including articles, tips, forums, and discussions. How convenient is that!
Community Tip #26: Click on "Top Threads" in the FORUMS menu to keep track of the Community's most active threads.

Community Tip #28: If you don't have the time to finish writing your article in one sitting, have no fear. It is automatically saved each time you click on "Preview" in the edit page. On your next visit, simply click on "My Library" in the MY ACCOUNT menu to find all your Draft Items.
Community Tip #29: Have you signed up for the FireSociety newsletter? It's a great way to keep up with the latest happenings in the Community and is easy to receive. Simply update your Profile in the MY ACCOUNT menu.
Community Tip #30: Want to see your face on FireSociety? Update your profile now to add your picture, avatar, or other image. You can also create your own biography to tell other Members what makes you tick. Just click on "Edit Profile" under the MY ACCOUNT menu and go!
Community Tip #31: Who really knows their stuff? You can find FireSociety experts by browsing the categories on the site. Members build up proficiency in one or more categories by contributing and consuming content in those areas.
Community Tip #32: There is an easy way to keep up with the discussions about your blog, article, or tip. FireSociety members can use the Author Notification feature to receive an email when new comments are added to a discussion thread. Look for this option wherever you are.
Community Tip #33: Our RSS subscription feature helps you stay current with your favorite topic, blog, or individual author. Click on any orange XML icon to begin a new subscription and then use your favorite RSS reader to receive updates from FireSociety automatically.
Community Tip #34: Never participated in an online forum? Don't be intimidated. Use the "Post New Thread" option under the FORUMS menu to get started. It's an easy way to ask the community for help.
Community Tip #35: Every member has a public profile. You can see your own profile by clicking on your name in the header bar. To make changes to your profile, click on "Edit Profile" under the MY ACCOUNT menu.
Community Tip #36: Our Private Messaging feature allows members to securely communicate with each other while protecting the email addresses of both parties. You can send any member a private message by visiting their public profile page.
