How Al Gore is lining his "green" pockets

What’s behind the incredible Climate Alarmist push and the $1.2 Trillion carbon tax? Follow the money. Al Gore’s venture funds have recently announced that they have invested or will invest at least $1.8 billion in “green” companies. Let’s be clear -- this gives Al Gore a huge financial incentive to continue to push Climate Alarmism and get the $1.2 trillion carbon tax passed. That’s why it is no surprise that Al Gore recently pushed his own personal investment portfolio during ...

This is not a surprising report given the fact that he is a member of the CFR, with its goal of bankrupting America while they profit.

I believe that a refresher on the previous alarms of imminent ice age in about 1976, imminent global warming about 1925, imminent ice age about 1890 and Imminent global warming 30 or 40 years before that would help to show how ridiculous Al Gore is.

There has been no global warming for the past six years - repeat, zero global warming for the years 2002 through 2007! My source of this information is the single authoritative source - the National Climatic Data Center, one of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration organizations. You can check it out for yourself with a little research at http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov. I find it unbelievable that the national media has not called attention to this fact, and the fact that any statement or action that is based on the false premise of man-made global warming is getting a clear pass. Since there is no global warming taking place and since it has not been taking place for the past six years - and that includes all factors such as solar activity, there is therefore, by definition, no man-made global warming. Pretty simple, isn't it. So why the persistent global warming talk? "Follow the money" as described in today's report does a great job of explaining what is actually going on. Why am I not surprised? Without repeating a lot of it, enough prior information has been provided to render this explanation a credible one. Shortimer Carl

INDEED, SHORTIMER: Follow the money!!! Gore is an undisputed expert at that. And ROSEHILL: We all know, don't we, that global cooling and imminent ice ages are caused by global warming? We all do know that, right? And we surely all know that global warming is caused by global cooling. Right? And global cooling is caused by a buildup of CO2 in the atmosphere, caused by man made pollutants, such as happened 10,000 to 12,000 years ago, and.... Wait, I'm getting confused. Global warming is caused by pollutants caused by wooly mammoths, which caused the ice ages that killed them off, because they ate too much and produced too much flatulence. Wait, which came first, the global warming which caused the ice ages, or the mammoths which farted too much??? And what were people doing back 10 to 12,000 years ago to cause so much CO2, anyway? Probably driving too many chariots pulled by those mammoths. Wait, the wheel wasn't invented yet. So, did the invention of the wheel cause global warming, or global cooling??? Now I'm really confused. What's Gore's number? I need to call him to get the truth, don't I?? Al, help me, please!

Is there not limit to what these elitist idiots will go to to line their pockets on the backs of hard working Americans? They don't have ethics, morals, principles or even a conscience. It just goes to show how they believe we are here to serve them by paying taxes so they can trump up these issues to get even richer.

Apparently not! The Polar Bear has been put on the 'Endangered Species List'... and we are asked by some sad looking individual to send money to help protect them.

From what I have heard, their population is increasing. Perhaps we should send them some Polar Bear Condoms and have the environmentalists go up and install them! Better yet the politicians who voted them on to the list!

Al Gore is disgusting! His motive is MONEY--not ernvironment!!! June 17, 2008 For Further Information, Contact: Adam King, 615.383.6431 adam@tennesseepolicy.org Energy Guzzled by Al Gore's Home in Past Year Could Power 232 U.S. Homes for a Month Gore's personal electricity consumption up 10%, despite "energy-efficient" home renovations NASHVILLE - In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President's home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. "A man's commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home," said Drew Johnson, President of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. "Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption." In the past year, Gore's home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month. In February 2007, An Inconvenient Truth, a film based on a climate change speech developed by Gore, won an Academy Award for best documentary feature. The next day, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research uncovered that Gore's Nashville home guzzled 20 times more electricity than the average American household. After the Tennessee Center for Policy Research exposed Gore's massive home energy use, the former Vice President scurried to make his home more energy-efficient. Despite adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models, and overhauling the home's windows and ductwork, Gore now consumes more electricity than before the "green" overhaul. Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month -1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations - at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration. In the wake of becoming the most well-known global warming alarmist, Gore won an Oscar, a Grammy and the Nobel Peace Prize. In addition, Gore saw his personal wealth increase by an estimated $100 million thanks largely to speaking fees and investments related to global warming hysteria. "Actions speak louder than words, and Gore's actions prove that he views climate change not as a serious problem, but as a money-making opportunity," Johnson said. "Gore is exploiting the public's concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile." The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, a Nashville-based free market think tank and watchdog organization, obtained information about Gore's home energy use through a public records request to the Nashville Electric Service. The Tennessee Center for Policy Research is an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization committed to achieving a freer, more prosperous Tennessee through the ideas of liberty.
