Duncan Hunter Interview on Mike Huckabee

Why Duncan Hunter is Supporting Huckabee As you know, Congressman Duncan Hunter has been among the strong advocates for the border fence and stopping illegal immigration. That is why I want to share with you my interview with Hunter regarding his recent endorsement of Mike Huckabee. Before I continue, please understand that Grassfire.org does not endorse or oppose candidates. In addition, I personally have not endorsed any candidate for president. Many citizens concerned about illegal immigration have rightfully had serious ...

I support Huckabee as well. He is a good man as far as I can tell and I think he is sincere in his speeches regarding perserving what is left of Americas integrity and restoring our place of honor among the nations. He has my vote too.

Check out my petition: PUTTING OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR SAFETY FIRST WHILE IN SCHOOL.

I think Huckabee will help to make our childrens future a positive one and I cant think of a better reason to vote for him than our future generations, can you?

Huckabee does deserve a second look. McCain is just unacceptable, as is Hitlery. There is a youtube video from after super Tuesday at an Obama headquarters. They open the door smiling away, and there is a Cuban flag with Che Guevara's face on the wall. WTF ! The conservatives are not backing down, nor should we. This is our country, and we are fools if we allow the media to steal it from us. I'll trust Duncan Hunter's opinion, and get on the bandwagon. No to RP, yes to Huckster.

Why is the President of Mexico allowed to influence an election process in this country and why shouldn't his interface be President to President instead of with a state Governor?

Huckabee is a pro-amnesty person.  I don't care what Hunter says.  A wolf in sheep's clothing is still a wolf.  He may be true blue on other issues but on this issue he cannot and should not be trusted.  Isn't it funny how people cater to the people in order to get votes?  Actions always speak louder than words.

McCain is the WORST person we could elect. It would be like electing Bush again. Huckabee is no better. All you have to do is look at his advisors to see that. He will make amnesty a reality if he is elected no doubt. There is ONLY one republican, one true republican running. Just look at his website Ron Paul2008.com. I don't even need to say anything about him. See for yourselves. Look at his stands on issues, his books. He is the ONLY one that has been on the financial committee & has attacked the Federal Reserve. He WILL fix America!! He actually tells how he will too. (By the way... Huckabee saying we don't need to borrow from China.. that came from Ron Paul in one of the prier debates....) don’t let the media tell you who is the best pick, decide yourselves people!!

I feel that Calderon is a lobbyist for his cause. Can ya'll imagine what kind of people it must be to have the President of Mexico export his citizens? The ones that were best suited for President has left, so I don't know who I want to vote for in this election. I wanted Hunter then he left, went to Fred he left, then Romney, he left. Huckabee claims that he will change slavery in our Country and he was talking about the illegals. Making them legal. I don't like it, these people came here illegally, against our laws, we didn't make them slaves. That was there own doing about coming here illegally. Legal immigrants are welcome here but when you break the law in the fisrt place to come here it says a lot about the future. Cassie

I wouldn't vote for Huckabee or McCain either.  I am not a party liner.  I vote my heart.  I won't vote lesser of 2 evils either.  McCain and Huckabee are just as bad as Hillary and Obama.  I agree, if you read and research Ron Paul makes the most sense.  At least he spends the time to discuss the issues and you can look at his record and see how he votes.  No mudslinging there.  I don't know about any independents out there, as they have not made themselves known.

To me McCain is just a war mongering Democrat and Huckabee - I don't want to insult him.  I can't imagine him winning, not only wouldn't most republicans vote for him, but I know there wouldn't be too many democrats crossing that line, if any.

I have to say that I am so disappointed in both McCain & Huckabee & as far as I'm concerned the Republican party no longer has any viable candidates.  I think what they did to Mitt Romney in the Southern states was dispicable & they should be ashamed of themselves.

This country was founded with freedom of religion as one of the most basis tenants of it's constitution.  Mitt Romney is a decent, moral man who I would have been proud to call President, something I cannot say about any of the other candidates.  I am totally disgusted with the smear job that has been done regarding Mitt's religious preference, which by the way, only qualifies him further for the office of President.  Let's see, I thought being a person of integrity would only enhance a persons' candidacy, silly me.    I guess I thought in this day & age we had come further than that, but I see I was wrong!

What turned me off from Romney was not the fact that he was LDS, but rather the fact that his ads were mudslinging and at times nasty.  If he had talked about the issues and how he stood on them rather than turning on the others, I would have had more respect for him.  Whether he was LDS, Christian Science, Evangelical, Born Again - that is his business.  How he conducts his campaign - ours and it shows his true character.

This post was deleted by Deerhunter. Reason is this is the beginning to get off topic and rather a religious topic. Please stick to Duncan Hunter and Mike Huckabee please.

Thank you

AGREED!  I refuse to vote the party line,  and I don't like any of the four.

McCain will NOT suport a fence and is lying until he gets the nomination.  Everyone knows this.  He is also supported and funded by George Soros.

How can we allow this nomination to continue.  Ron Paul is the only hope for America.  When will the American people wake up?  Please people.

Hi everyone. I lived in Arkansas during the time that Clinton was Re-elected for his second term.. I will tell you this, you can't trust Old Huck. He is a liar, promotes illegal's, why do you think Tyson Inc. hires all illegals. Has a plane they bring them in on... We have no choice but to vote for McCain. He is the lesser of all evils. We have to watch him very closely and demand he follow his platform.. I now live in California, they removed Gray Davis and California showed the U.S. that it can be done... If we don't vote for the one most likely to win over Obama or Hillary, we are screwed. So hang in there, watch very closely and don't vote mad. You need to think about the end result. Don't listen to their lies, you can research what they have done in the state they were elected. Their track record is what you need to follow... Good luck all, we need it. Carolyn

I think Hunter choosing Huckabee is akin to voting for the lessor of two evils,  given the choices of Huckabee and McCain.  We won't be doing that, because there is another choice if only to send the message that we believe the GOP is way off course.

Immigration was my big issue so once he blatantly lied about that issue I never looked any further at him.  In my state of Nevada, Huckabee was never seriously looked at as a candidate. If he cannot be tolerant of other's religions than you are correct, he does not deserve to be in the white house, much less in any public office.  How far has this country gone from the constitution?  We need to get back to it or we will have no country left for our children and grandchildren.

Ribbit, I appreciate that you disliked Romney's ads, but what you missed is that he never made his ads personal. They were all true, verified facts that needed to be known to make a proper judgement. If he hadn't brought up issues of their past voting history and efforts at legislation...would you have ever looked it up? I doubt it. Most americans wait for the MSM to make up their minds for them. On the whole, Americans wait to hear on the news what they should believe. I never saw a Romney ad that was "nasty" as you put it. I saw ads that told verified facts that the person who they were against would have rather you not know about. Why is that? So they called them smear ads, well, none of the Romney ads ever took a personal jabs. Both McCain and Huckabee took personal jabs at Romney, but no one seemed to care about those. Especially those who attacked his religion and smeared the things most dear to him. Would we have all loved to hear them all talk nice about what they are going to do. Do we all want everyone to love each other, be kind and say nice things?... sure we do, but what good would that have done us. We need the truth and the last place you will find that is in the media!!

The press has successfully postured McCain to win the primary and lose the election - no accident here.  Even if conservatives hold their noses and vote for McCain, they aren't likely to work and contribute for him, which will spell the end for him and our Country.   In the decades I've worked in Republican campaigns, the number of "liberal" and "moderate" Republicans who came out to work was insignificant.  It's all done by conservatives.  The arrogance of Bush and the RNC is coming home to roost.

Can you imagine Clinton or Obama sitting across from Putin and the Chinese at the negotiating table?  They must be laughing themselves  silly at their easy victory in our election.

I would be shocked if a "Republican" was voted in the WH in Nov.  IF, (big IF), you believe the media...that the Dems are showing up to vote outnumbering GOP 2 to 1 or sometimes 3 to 1, there is no way a GOP nominee would see the inside of the Oval Office next year.  Unless of course Dems, Indies and GOP were to vote for a candidate the MSM isn't mentioning...say RP or AK.
