Ron Paul on Immigration He Is "Positively Opposed" To Amnesty And Calls For An Economic Solution To The Crisis Summary: Ron Paul's record reveals a Congressman who has been a leader in the fight to end illegal immigration. Ron Paul is what this country needs. Only he has the knowledge, the experience, the policies, and the consistent track record, to be able to save us from the coming financial tsunami. It'll be a Depression that will make the 1929 "Great Depression" look like a Sunday school picnic.

Support Dr Ron Paul - before it's too late.

If FREEDOM is what you wish Vote for Dr. Ron Paul. If ONE WORLD ORDER is your cup of tea vote for someone else.

This is a Republic not a Democracy. Freedom isn't free it has been bought and died for. Many sheeplepeople exist, because they have closed minds, or they don't know how to read. Turn off the TV's, read and explorer the web.

The more I see of the candidates from both parties I think it correct to say,'if one world order is what you want vote for anyone but Ron Paul!'.

I watched the GOP debate last night... I wanted to hear more from Ron Paul and Huckabee. They were being virtually frozen out. I also would have liked to see more of Thompson, Tancredo, Hunter and Guiliani before they threw in the towel! But... the great majority of the country didn't get the chance. Iowa and the few early states decided that for us! And the scheduling of the primaries is done by the two parties!

Why not schedule hold the primaries just like the presidential election? Give them all a preset time for campaigning the same amount of campaign money and hold the primaries in all states on the same day.

We should all have a say in who gets to run for our respective parties.

Ron how about going independent?

This is off Ron Paul for President site.

The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked. This is my six point plan:

  • Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
  • Enforce visa rules.  Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law.  This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
  • No amnesty.  Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
  • No welfare for illegal aliens.  Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules.  But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
  • End birthright citizenship.  As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
  • Pass true immigration reform.  The current system is incoherent and unfair.  But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation.  This is insanity.  Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

Isn't this what FS members have been saying in their threads?  Secure the borders and no amnesty.

If only he had the numbers to be elected... He has some great points and I agree with him on so much. But he doesn't get equal time to speak in the debates. In fact, it seems like they'd rather he wasn't there. Several members of the media - especially conservative media - report him as "looney" which means people will turn away from him because its easier than learning and researching on your own. His biggest problem, it seems to me, is his passion gets him so excited when he speaks that he seems to speak too quickly (though, if I were nearly ignored in every debate, I would want to get as much in as possible when I had the chance, too!) Paul is the most truthful of all the candidates.

I believe in Ron Paul.  The others candidates I don't believe are speaking the truth to the American people, I think they will say anything they THINK we want to hear to get elected.

Ron Paul is the only one who seems to speak sense and its obvious he very sincere.   I believe him when he say's this country is bankrupting itself and need to stop printing money out of thin air, and we don't need to be policing the world we need our troops right here protecting our borders, he is for the consitution as it's written and is against illegal immigration big time.   He's the kind of man we need to get this country on the right track.

The others I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them.   Ron Paul all the way!!!

Old Guy, You have a valid point regarding an equal opportunity for all Americans to be more involved earlier in the campaign process.  I've often wondered why candidates drop out so early (other than a monetary challenge), but there are 50 states and every American has an opinion.  I'm from Iowa and there have been past Presidential caucus nights that I hoped and prayed the other states would be more informed.  This year was no different -- although I'm glad we didn't support McCain -- that man should never be our President!

While attending the local caucus, was asked who I would be supporting to which I answered, "Dr. Ron Paul."  Because he didn't get the "press nor the TV coverage" many wondered about him, but didn't know enough about him to support him.  Unfortunately some think the only source of information is the TV and major newspapers....all owned by the establishment.  Because many younger Americans have not been educated in the United States Constitution and we've had possibly two generations who are inept in knowing it and the amendments, is it any wonder the candidates go from state to state promising "goodies from the public treasury" for which they have no authority and people believe them?

Dr. Paul has said on many ocassions -- it's about the message -- and he is doing it for Americans.  What a refreshing thought!   The younger generation is hearing, for possibly the first time, what the Constitution really says and means.   If we learn and know the truth, it can only set us free if we are willing to fight for the truth!

Food for thought -- All the Presidential Candidates are members of the Council on Foreign Relations EXCEPT Dr. Ron Paul.  Rupert Murdock is also a member of the Council as well as many MSM  anchors.  Is it any wonder Dr. Ron Paul is intentionally shunned?  Candidate Huckabee and Clinton have some identical corporate donors.  In researching the domestic issues, there is very little difference between Clinton, Obama, and McCain.  In my opinion voting for McCain is like voting for Clinton and Obama, his past records and actions expose him.  My conscience will not allow me to vote for them.  After 30+ years of studying American history, economics and politics, we are heading down the slippery slope to socialism/fascism.  Of the remaining candidates, Dr. Ron Paul, is a true statesman so it's no wonder he is being ignored by the MSM.  The political establishment and the Council on Foreign Relations consider him dangerous and a setback to their goals.

Check out the Council on Foreign Relations --- our past Presidents -- Carter to the present along with their administrations have had many members of the Council.  What are their goals?  Best you learn that for yourself.  Thank your for your time.

Ron Paul is the very last chance we have to save our country!  People need to wake up and take notice of him.  Many have,  and their voices will not be silenced!  People need to stick together and let the ones that want to tear him down know that they will not be heard over the voices of the ones that stand with him.  It isn't to late to support him and fight to get him elected!  We must fight for him or we will be fighting for our country!  Don't let them win....

If you listened to the recent conference call with Ron Paul speaking - the radio jockey who was on...made some good points.  He said the Ron Paul 'revolution' is waking people up - one day at a time...to the corruption, the media control, the Trans Texas Corridor and the NAFTA hwy, election fraud etc etc - the establishment is running scared of this fact....more and more people are realizing just how bad it truly is - and how they have EFFECTIVELY silenced the media to these facts.  I used to graze with the sheep who throught the media was just liberal - (not controlled) and used to dismiss election fraud as liberal lies (b/c it happened to a Democrat who was challenging a Republican win) - and not long ago, I used to believe in the ideology of Democrat vs Republican  - not realizing until NOW that the liberal left has infilrated BOTH parties....

I will vote Ron Paul - and I will vote for ANYONE (for the most part) who is NOT currently in office... I will strongly favor the Libertarian Party or Constitutional Party from here on out... as the two party system has turned it's back on me.

Please read about agenda 21!  Ron Paul is the only one that can save us!

Here is some of what it is about.  This is why they don't want him to be President.  It would crush their plans.

As an interested person in politics and history, Dr. Ron Paul, has demonstrated his statesmanship in helping us to remember our Constitution and to make us all aware of the liberties and freedoms we have slowly lost over the past 40+ years.  He has said that the "message is important".

To those who have posted, I agree Dr. Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate passionate enough to defy the "status quo", but he also is challenging all of us to rise up for our personal liberties and freedoms as well as those of our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

"Those who give up essential liberties for temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."  Benjamin Franklin

 thank you

I will also vote for Ron Paul, and if that in the end is impossible, then I will vote Constitution Party.I could not vote for the Libertarian Party because some of their platforms are opposite to things I believe in,as in open borders for one.The leader of their party wrote a vile letter to Daneen Peterson of www.stopthenorthamericanunion.com  awhile back that she posted under hate mail.Well,I understand them now.Sheesh!!! Pastor Chuck Baldwin says he is the only one that would try to save our country, and I agree 100% with him.I just wish Americans would really look at the top three and what they wish to do to destroy our country!I also think there is so much vote fraud that the outcome will be Obama, and since the puppet Bush has already set things up for him, four years will be more than enough to put us under the corruption of the UN,global taxes, etc.I do pray for a miracle, that everyone that is asleep will wake up by November and see that Ron Paul is the only American running, and will vote for him!
