Candidate Briefing: John McCain on Immigration

John McCain on Immigration He Led The Push For Amnesty And Now Calls For Border Security First Summary: Sen. John McCain has been one of the leading proponents of the so-called "comprehensive" approach to immigration reform that combines border security and enforcement elements with amnesty for illegal aliens. In 2006, he co-authored the McCain-Kennedy Immigration comprehensive bill with Sen. Ted Kennedy and has consistently called for a compassionate approach that grants a path to citizenship for most illegal aliens currently ...

Just like so many of his positions he simply appears to have abandoned any sense of the traditional Republican Party.  I know many of this year's candidates have yet the large amount of respect Sen. McCain warrants makes his departure the saddest for me.  He is in favor of amnesty, wants to remain in Iraq for the next 100 years and is bitter toward the world which guarantees he will continue to be the bully and abuse our military strength worldwide.  As much as my former military self wants to embrace this man his rhetoric and misguided beliefs insure I never can and never will.

John Mcanin will undo all that we have done this last year, We need a candidate that will be strong on illegal immigration and will enforce our laws, We could take better care of our own people if we were not spending 332.8 billion on illegals, if a candidate is not wise enough to see that then I don't want him in office.

This man scares me and I am glad that Romney called him on the carpet about "are they going to have to leave the country" in McCains "Plan". He thinks that just because he talks about securing the border that that is good enough. His head is soft.

This man must not be elected! McCain says illegal immigrants are "our friends". Here in AZ, one of his "friends" was arrested for (allegedly) stalking and raping teenage girls! (He had been deported twice). Build the fence - get Tom Tancredo back in the race! Lawsuits should be filed against employers and politicians who allow illegal immigration to continue.

This is our culture, fight for it! This is our flag, pick it up! This is our country, take it back! Press 1 for English; Press 2 to deport!!!

John McCain is a liar. If he is elected President, we might as well put a revolving door on the border. He will cause the biggest invasion of illegal aliens ever in the history of America. Our schools and hospitals will be flooded and crime will be out of control. John McCain is nothing more than a liberal democrat in Republican clothes. On top of that, he takes his marching orders from Israel. Anyone who wants 100 years of perpetual war is Nuts!

Revolving door? Nope, that might slow 'em down.

Marching orders from Israel? Nope, McCain takes orders from no one, especially American citizens.

McCain eats Democrat Donkey Dookie.

You are what you eat.

After watching McCain's videos I feel sick. This is going to be the downfall of America if we allow 100,000,000 illegals to become legal. We're going to give them all medical benefits, in-state tuition, other entitlements... this county will go bankrupt. The illegals don't want to learn English, they don't want to learn our culture, press 1 for English; this is crazy.

We as conservatives must nominate a candidate who can put together the Reagan Coalition.  At this point, there seems to be three major contenders, Huckabee, McCain and Romney.  The Reagan coalition included conservative Democrats, primarily in the South and West, Independents, Military and Veterans.  Romney could not win New Hampshire, with its large population of Massachusetts refugees.  He did win Michigan, where his father was a popular "liberal republican" Governor.  Can he win a general election against Hillary?  As for his endorsement by Arpaio, the Sheriff has been involved in a series of recent scandals in Arizona and is seeing a steady drop in his approval ratings.  In 2006, not a single candidate he endorsed won election.

Huckabee has done well in Arkansas, but how will be play among conservative Democrats who are Catholic or Jewish.  Can Huckabee carry all of the 2004 Red States in a race against Hillary.

It took 20 years from the debacles of the 1970's for the Republican Party to recover and win Congress.  Do we want to nominate a candidate that does so poorly that for the next 20 years Democrats control everything.  Remember the Census and redistricting is only 3 years away.

McCain  has been conservative on spending, opposing unnecessary defense and federal spening, conservative on judges.  In 4 Senate campaigns he has carried Reagan Democrats and winning traditionally Democratic areas such as Pima County and Northern Arizona.

Can America afford another generation of liberalism?

SOME HUCKABEE INFO:

I have a hard time believing Huckabee. He was such a strong supporter of immigration. Even weeks ago he said he would let them back in the country after only a few days.

Here is Huckabee talking about his TOUCHBACK AMNESTY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jKeWI...

I am voting for Mitt Romney, he was endorsed by Tom Tancredo.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE "FAIR" TAX:
http://www.morrisdailyherald.com/articles/2008/01/16/voice_of_the_people/632tax.txt

HUCKABEE LIES ABOUT THE FAIR TAX, HE SAYS 23% - ACTUALLY 30% for starters:

"Proponents say the Fair Tax would mean a 23-percent sales-tax rate on all items purchased. First of all, the real tax rate proposed is 30 percent. The FairTax would add 30 cents to every dollar spent, but since 30 cents is 23 percent of $1.30, the FairTaxers call the rate 23 percent. Just the first bit of the numbers game."

HUCKABEE IS A LIER IN EVERY WAY!

Don't forget Huckabee wants to create the COMMANDSTITUION! He wants to rewrite the constitution to include gods will.  If you remember, America was founded by people trying to get away from religious governments....remember, religious freedom.

I'm afraid that Mr. McCain - like many others of his profession - hears only the message he wants to hear.

What  in the  world  can we  do to thwart McCain, also Huckabee? It is  becoming  clear now that our only chance  is Romney. How  can  we get  his message across  to those  folks who hear, see, read nothing  but  the liberal established media?  It is  such a helpless feeling. If McCain gets  the nomination, I feel Hill  and Bill  will  win, for one thing he  is  too old. Also, does anybody  get the feeling its Bill running, not Hill????

He is aa maverick Republican. I translate that as a label for a man  we call a RINO and would be a mainstream Democrat if he were honest.

I'm sick of hearing about what a hero McCain is. The oath I took when I enlisted stated that I would support and defend the constitution of The United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic; that I would bear true faith and allegiance to the same. I seem to remember there was a war hero in the last election and the similiarities don't stop there but if he got elected there'd be another Kennedy in The White House. He could invite Ted over, they could start drinkin heavily and come up with some more great ideas for how to run the country.

People who have lived here, illegally for 30 or 40 years are still here illegally and should NOT get any reprieve, There should be no statute of limitations for breaking our laws. I think we should all take a good long look at what Oklahoma is doing, they are enforcing the laws and the illegals are leaving in droves, It can be done we just need to enforce the laws.

I agree, the U.S. Officials have abandoned us. If we are going to prevail asa sovereign nation this problem has to be fixed and it has to be fixed at a level where we can better influence the politicians... local and state.
