Great videos Steve- after reviewing ALL....I can say without reservation that Fred would be the most aggressive supporter of WE THE PEOPLE among the candidates. Fred spoke out against the "Mexican" president condoning the continuous flow of his own citizens across OUR border too. He realizes the importance of our relationship with Mexico, but also knows that this flow of illegals is killing our financial infrastructure from within.

Fred..I hope your numbers rise because you really understand the situation and are ready to present real solutions.

Fred Thompson is the ONLY one who has the backbone to stand up for us...This is after all, The United States, and I agree with Biotech... I also believe Fred has been on the same side the whole time, unlike many of the other candidates, who waffle back and forth, trying to get our votes, just to be elected....well forget it, Fred's got my vote and has from the beginning...

Duncan Hunter seems to be the toughest candidate against illegal immigration but he is being shunned by the televison media machine.

I feel that the videos were enlightening. Of the candidates, the ones who made the most sense are Thompson and Paul. I would unconditionally cast my vote for either if either is fortunate enough to win the nomination. I feel that both Romney and Giuliani are self-serving more than dedicated to the citizens of this country. I feel that Huckabee, while ernest in his desires, lacke the fortitude to accomplish what he would want to. I believe his heart would ultimately rule his head, much like Jimmy Carter during his presidency.

Here are some things you may want to take into consideration before voting for a really good actor.  Fred Thompson: 8 years as a US Senator from Tennessee.

 Member of CFR

Voted YES for: in support of the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform . Act- the law to silence grassroots conservative groups.

2. yes to expand NAFTA. Modeled after the European Common Market, NAFTA was a first step toward open borders in North America and the North American Union.

3. yes on allowing more foreign workers into the US for farm work. (Jul 1998)

4. yes/ on authorizing use of military force against Iraq. (Oct 2002)

5. yes/ for permanent normal trade relations with China. (Sep 2000)

6. yes/for funding for the National Endowment for the Arts. (Aug 1999)

7. yes/ to fund the GOP Medicare prescription drug benefit debacle.

Thompson also seems to believe in a robust military presence worldwide and apparently advocates continued US military involvement in Iraq."(Freemarket news.com) Prior to his run for U.S. Senate, he was a Washington lobbyist for 20 years.

Fred Thompson IS A MAN WHO WANTS THE GOVERNMENT TO ADHERE TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION AND OUR LAWS AGAINST ILLEGAL ALIENS STEALING INTO OUR COUNTRY AND STEALING FROM AMERICA AND AMERICANS. The only other candidate still in the running who has actually DONE SOMETHING ABOUT THE BORDER FENCING is Duncan Hunter, who the "media" will not give any time on the air...as I believe is due to their liberal agenda AGAINST AMERICA AND AMERICANS AND OUR SOVEREIGNTY!

Fred Thomson truely is the only one who understands this issue. I can trace back to My great grandfather who came through Ellis Island leagally, then 2 years later after establishing residence and employment went back and brought my great grandmother over. It's a slap in the face to everyone who has come here leaglly and followed the rules for citizenship, to allow the 12 million ILLEGALS to remain. I presently work down in Texas on one of many Oil projects we have going on. One of our workers was killed in the early morning hours while heading to work by an illegal alien, who was drunk. He leaves behind a wife and 18 month old daughter. The illegal who was taken to the emergency room, treated, and because of some loop hole that if arrested before addmitance that states, police department is accountable for the medical expenses, wasn't arrested, walk out of the hospital after treatment, never to be held accountable for the murder of this man. Enough is enough send them all back.

I accidently hit the enter button before I finished...Duncan Hunter is a conservative man who has not merely opened his mouth to blather on as most politicians do, but fought to get the fence built. But the TRAITORS in our government have continued to thwart the will of Americans, THE LAW AND GUTTED THE BILL OF $3 BILLION THAT HAD BEEN SIGNED, SEALED AND MONEY SET ASIDE FOR THE FENCE ALONG THE ENTIRE SOUTHERN BORDER.

We can thank our despicable CONGRESS for the theft of the LAWFULLY PASSED $3 BILLION that President Bush SINGED INTO LAW OVER A YEAR AGO!

Can anyone say, "We're being sold out by our government?"

Who in their right mind would even consider voting or supporting ANYONE who lies, steals, cheats, and sells AMERICA AND AMERICANS out to the highest bidder (country - power - money)?

WE THE PEOPLE scare the crap out of politicians - but if we aren't we yelling and DEMANDING Duncan Hunter be spotlighted in the "media", and keep the pressure on the RePugnacans and DemoRats, we allow them to kill the Constitution and Americans.

NOW I'm done - for now. Rhonda

Please, Fire-Society, include ALL of the candidates on these issues, so that the people can make fully-informed decisions. This means including Alan Keyes on the topics...after all, he's been running since Sept. 14, 2007! To see Alan Keyes' position on immigration you can:

1) View: http://www.alankeyes.com/video?clip=0...

2) Read: http://www.alankeyes.com/issues_list....

...or, for a more in-depth discussion of the issue, see: http://www.alankeyes.com/video?clip=0...

We (the People!) must work to restore the Sovereignty and Integrity of our Nation. Securing our borders is paramount. This extends to our leaders, as well, and we must call to attention the impact of 'free trade' agreements upon our sovereignty.

To wit, a quote from 'high desert max' on another FireSociety page (which should really be titled 'Pay Attention AMERICANS!' at:

http://www.firesociety.com/comments/2...

"ALL FREE Trade agreements do in FACT give up a portion of our Sovereignty... this is how: The President and Congress have taken their duty to regulate commerce between 2 or more nations (WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, NAU, etc.) and by signing these agreements have given that duty to a body that is NOT elected by the people and therefore the people have NO redress of grievances. This new governing body DICTATES to our gov't exactly what THEY decide is fair ... no legislation without representation.

Tancredo on "CAFTA is the absolute worst." (paraphrased) CAFTA will have as their governing body 1 American and 2 Central Americans (NONE are elected by the people of any nation). Central America is able to challenge our immigration laws which places Central American people before Americans for jobs IN America."

God Speed, my friends.

Huckabee talks a good talk now, but as governor, he was a big friend of illegal immigrants. He supported the use of state funds to care for illegals and provide them scholarships. http://www.nwanews.com/story.php?pape... As Governor, Huckabee fought for in-state tuition and taxpayer funded scholarships for illegal immigrants. He vocally opposed a raid on a factory in Arkansas that employed illegal immigrants. And he led an effort to bring a Mexican Consulate to Arkansas - one of the main functions of the Consulate would be to issue identification cards to Mexicans living, both legally and illegally, in the U.S. When Republican state senators in Arkansas proposed legislation modeled after Arizona's Proposition 200 [to require proof of citizenship for voting and public benefits], Huckabee described it as "inflammatory ... race-baiting ... demagoguery." He said the bill, which seeks to forbid public assistance and voting rights to illegal immigrants, "inflames those who are racist and bigots and makes them think there's a real problem. But there's not."Huckabee has said that the current illegal immigration situation is a way for America to make up for the crimes of slavery. http://www.standardnewswire.com/news/... He also supported Bush's 2006 comprehensive immigration reform plan, which many considered amnesty. "I think the rational approach is to find a way to give people a pathway to citizenship." - Mike Huckabee, Washington Post, May 23, 2006. "I would hope he could be trusted to secure the borders, but given his track record in Arkansas, I don't see the conservative he has portrayed himself to be in Iowa," said Jake Files, a former Arkansas state representative. http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPolitics.a...

Lets face it, none of the candidates are perfect and none will reach everyone. Not even Jesus could reach everyone when He was here. The best we can do is the best we can do.

I used to think so myself, until I found out that his actions do not match his words.  Thompson has written some great articles on 'Federalism', but if you look at 'FEDUP's posting, above (all correct, by the way), you'll see that he's just not 'walking the walk'.  Our national sovereinty involves more than just controlling the border...we cannot allow other nations to dicate our policies to us!  That is PRECISELY one of the grievances we had with England, addressed in the Declaration of Independance!

Mitt Romney is financing much of his campaign with his own personal fortune, contributing over $17 million to the campaign[93]
