Stop Trade With China

Background: I don't know of other web-sites that would want to initiate a petition. Chinese goods are being blogged about elsewhere. In view of the more than numerous reports of "tainted" goods arriving from China and a trade deficit of over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS, CFTA, The Chinese Free Trade Agreement should be rescinded, emended, erased, or whatever other word you would like to use. People talk about "We need change". Instead of talking, the only tools we have are petitions instead of bullets. E-mails instead of hand grenades. Faxes instead of "mustard gas." So let's see how many people want real change or how many will voice a lame argument why we should still deal with China. Shouldn't trade be at least halted until all distribution outlets and product factories, as well as product ingredients are inspected and obviously corrected? Shouldn't that be the very least?

I totally agree we should stop trade with China, they have killed our pets, put lead in our childrens toys, and who knows what else. I think we are considered lab rats to them so they can figure out how many of us they can destroy.

SpeakEnglish, If you are already signed up with grassfire.org, there is a bar over the top of the petition which you can just click and it automatically signs the petition with ALL of your information as specified when you initially signed up with grassfire.org. Does that help?

Also heard this morning, they are buying up "Port Facilities" and the United States has actually sub contracted out workers who CHECK THE SHIPMENTS COMING INTO THE STATES....THE PEOPLE CHECKING THE SHIPMENTS ARE CHINESE SUB-CONTRACTORS! What sense does that make? It's like letting the Fox watch the hen house!

Heard the above on Neal Boortz this morning...he was LIVID!

    Already signed #7. See the report yesterday about children's costume jewelry and again lead paint. Talked about a little boy dying of lead poisoning after swallowing the pendent off a new pair of Chinese made shoes. Hadn't heard about this one til yesterday. Getting to where it's hard to trust anything now.

Babe & Jason... Hard to believe Chinese sub-contractors will be checking cargo crates from China. Hard to believe pendents on shoes are leaded. Clinton signed CFTA into law. Thank him and the two Chinese business men that he's getting "kickbacks" from. I watched the Chinese news network last night. Businessmen are whooping it up at how much money they are making. Two talked of China's equivelency of Pier One Imports that they have opened up. Time to end this dastardly agreement. Some in Congress are talking the same thing. Maybe my e-mails got through. I sure we are not the only ones that think like this. Maybe a lot of e-mails got through.

This would be change.

BOTH!!! Add ILLEGAL ALIENS to the witches brew as bubbles over the crock pot. Isn't that what the USA has become? Instead of a melting pot...a crock pot.

I signed the petition. We do not need all that crap from China, or any other country that can't meet our standards. What happened to our pride in "Made in U.S.A."?

JHK I couldn't sign it fast enough! Where is the petition to recall ALL of the senators who voted for amnesty, and oh yeah, where can I sign a petition to recall Bush? I just watched Lou Dobbs again tonight and he almost always covers this topic. Can someone tell me how the Demon rats can get the union vote????? How do they reconcile their open borders policy to the working folks????
