This article clearly identifies the problem. It is the grossly misnamed, "Security and Prosperity Partnership" (SPP) that Dubya has pushed so hard for, that has him genuflecting every time Vicente Fox passes gas. Dubya is determined to push that contemptible SPP down the throats of Americans, even if it takes destroying the lives of a hundred honorable law enforcement officers like Ramos, Compean and Hernandez and shredding the Constitution, under which he serves.

This is Dubya's way of opening up the borders. If law enforcement agents are afraid to even attempt to arrest illegal aliens, then even though it is illegal to be here, they will have "EFFECTIVE" Amnesty. He gets the Attorney General and his Justice Department to do his dirty work and gets what he wants through intimidation, rather than legislation. And he has the nerve to call himself a Republican. Not cool.

This is a complete diservice to our country. These Officers need to be pardonded and we need to tell Mexico where to shove it.

Yeah. And we need to get that fence built, and the illegal trash thrown back over the border.

Did you know that money sent home by illegals working in the US is now the #2 component of Mexico's GDP?!

The way I see it the mexican president was mad because he lost his drug money from sales. He got our own gov. turned against the agents and probably instructed the illegal to sue for more money to finance drug running.Thats just a hypothesis. For some reason Bush don`t want to get kicked out of mexico.

What in the hell is going on? Since when does Mexico pull the strings on the president of the United States and make him bounce? I guess a better question would be; how did we get a president that will let his strings be pulled...and by Mexico? If GWB want to be a part of Mexico so bad, maybe he should move there, and then we could get back to defending our borders. It would appear, here lately, that GWB's true colors are shinning through. He is acting in the ways of a dictator instead of an elected official. I am wondering how many signatures it would take for congress to start an impeachment process. This man is leaving our borders open to anyone who wants access to the US...including terrorist. And prosecuting border agents, in a Mickey Mouse courtroom and Goofy as the judge, for doing their job is inconceivable. He now has other law officers scared to do their job for fear of a prosecution. That leaves a wide open door for anyone who wants in our country...did I mention, even terrorist. And yes, with this breaking news, it all falls on GWB, fiend of Mexico, foe of his constituents. ................................More later, too dang mad to type.

It is time to stop pretending we still live in a republic and start fighting to get it back. International crime syndicates and corporate tyrants have long been pulling the strings of the shadow government. They may still let us hold symbolic elections to keep people from revolt, but they can't fool everyone. I hate to see people who still believe we live under the Constitution walk straight into the meat grinder somehow thinking that they will be shown mercy. Ask yourself, if the new Real I.D. that is due to be enacted by '08 is so benign, why won't they tell us how it differs from our standard licences and just what it can actually do. With the RFID chip we may all become government prisoners soon!

I would like to see the forensics tests on the bullet(s) that were removed from the smuggler. Is anyone conducting an investigation on Mexico, if they are being paid off to let drug smugglers to enter the United States. We have to stop smugglers from killing our citizens with their illegal drug smuggling practices.

If we sit and kick back on this we will all regret it. What more do we need to see that Bush is there just to take orders from Mexico. What the hell do we owe them??? Get him to pardon these guys who were doing their job or its time we get a real leader!A president who cares about his country and his people.

How many Americans die every year using drugs. There is a war on here in our Country. How many go to jail every year for dealing. For those of you have the time go to court and listen to how many crimes are committed because of illegal drug use. Almost all of them. Victims of crimes are victims because a drug user needs the drugs. People are and have been killed for five dollars so someone can get the drugs they need.

Everyone needs to write their elected officials. To get these guys out of jail, and to really start fighting the drug problem.

I'm an Hispanic and I'm getting fed up on Mexico dictating us on what our policies should be. These also includes their dumping of their illegals to our country, doing nothing on their corrupted government and letting the drug cartels expand to our borders.

Enough is enough and I'm ready to fight back....

I am really upset, I have followed these border guards and have to wonder why in the first place are they in jail, and why are they now segregated in isolation cells, why they were allowed to be beat by the illegal aliens that they put in jail. Now today I find that the Mexican government has been the controlling force. I thought that a 100 years ago we fought Santa Anna and the Mexican government and instituted the boarders. Know I find out that Mexico is actually in charge of our government, and our president is getting his orders from them. "Grassfire" sent a petition to the president and he ignored it for the most part. I have emailed my congressman and was told told that the agents now have to go through an appeal process and its really up to the president to pardon them. In the mean time this drug pusher was caught a week latter smugging more drugs. And he has the ordasity to sue the US government, Border patrol families. If this is to happen and our government not intervein then we need to abolish our Homeland Security because we are already under control of the terrorist that we seek.

There is a clear duplicity on the part of Mexico here. What they do to people coming into their country along their southern border makes what happened on our board pale by comparison. It is truly sad to see the level to which our government will go to apease the Mexicans. As a member of the law enforcement community in South Texas I can tell you there is a strong undercurrent of discontent. The morale is low and many officers are afraid to get to close to the border for fear of becoming engaged in a situation that will put them in the barrel of dung. I voted for Bush both times. I'm not happy with the way he's been running things in regards to border security and the Iraq war. However, during both elections he was clearly the lesser of two evils. What are we citizens supposed to do? The politicians care only about votes and power. This will clearly be at the cost of our security and possibly even our soverinty.

I'd like to know when we as an outraged nation of United States citizens are going to unite in a class action law suit against the Mexican government and our own government, for promoting the illegal invasion of our country, the absolute disregard and breakage of our Federal laws and the violation of their consular right to be on our soil through their criminal acts against the United States Constitution.

I may not have clearly stated all my legal points, but somewhere in what we all see and know is going on, there have to be some criminal charges that can be filed on all the laws and treasonous acts that have been taking place so blatently. Look at what Bank of America (I mean Mexico) just announced that they are now giving credit cards and mortgages to illegals with no social security cards, legal ID's or credit history. Am I mistaken in believing that our constitution clearly forbids any banking institution from doing exactly what they are doing. It's a federal crime.

Is there anyone out there with any knowledge of how to proceed with a class action law suit against all these outrages.

I am not even shocked by this latest news, knowing for months about Bush's rush to eliminate our borders, both north and south. We no longer have a voice, unless it is in revolt. There is no longer the concept of 'WE THE PEOPLE...'   Bush is doing so many things under the radar, it is scary. I finally admit he has had an agenda all along, and had me fooled. As a Christian, I am beginning to even doubt his professed faith...not judging, just wondering how, in good conscience, he can do all this stuff after swearing on the Bible  to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

AMEN to Tom Tancredo! He was just on with Savage and, boy, did Tancredo have some words about Bush! He said the same things we are saying here, plus the fact that Congress no longer has any input or influence with the president.

I'm all for a class action suit, I have been saying this for years, our tax money is being used to fund every illegal activity of these invaders and I for one damn well resent my hard earned money going to give the people the benefits we legal citizens don't dare to hope for. Isn't that taxation without representation ? I hope there is some smart young lawyer out there that can help us try ! I'm sick and tired of Bush sacrificing Americans for his corporate fat cats and you can be sure there is going to be some big money to be made for the Bush clan if he gets his way with the North American Union.

I already have my Tom tancredo  President 08 bumper sticker. I say pray for Tom tancredo if it even looks like he could win, because the powers that be wouldn't think twice about eliminating such a strong opponet of illegal immigration.  Check out the website unity08, this is where we might have a good chance to get Tom  tancredo elected, it sounds like a very interesting concept and it just might work to defeat  the sorry bunch we have in the running for the whitehouse if we can get enough people on board.

It does not surprise me that their is all this behind the scenes activity between Bush and Fox. But the Ramos and Compean case is starting to get alot of media attn.Especially on Cavuto,Americas most wanted with John Walsh,Ive been sending them Emails.also Glen Beck.Thank God for the Blogesphere we are keeping the interest up.This will come back and bite Bush on his rear.John Walsh wants them released on bail while their appeal is pending, that might be a good way to go,then work to get the case thrown out.

Americans are outraged that this case has culminated to where it has. Assuming but not conceding the foregoing assertions and allegations are true, then we have a basic fundamental problem in the progression our government attempting to solve basic fundamental problems which break the core of our society apart. Firstly, the facts of this case don't seem to pass the smell test. Ramos,Campean, as well as Sheriff Hernandez have all been exemplary figures of patriotism and law enforcement professionals, as far as the general public knows. Ramos and Campean are suddenly prosecuted under an obscure Federal Criminal Statute which expressly provides for the long incarceration time if convicted. The problem is that the purpose and legislative intent of the law was to publish law enforcement agents who use weapons in the course and scope of committing a dangerous felony while acting under color of authority. WHAT DID YOU JUST READ? It was the illegal drug smuggler engaged in the course and scope of perpetrating a dangerous felony, to wit: Drug Smuggling. Not just once but twice after being given immunity by Federal Prosecutors. Ramos and Campean while incarcerated were supposed to be protected by being separated. Who screwed up the program by placing one of them in the general prison population to be almost literally beaten to death by guess whom? Illegal immigrants serving time in American prison. Where was Alberto Gonzales, our Attorney General while these distortions of facts, (to be polite), or more accurately stated outright lies were being told to the Judge and Jury in their case? Let's not forget jurors were allegedly given wrongful and unconstitutional jury instructions literally forcing those who opposed conviction to vote for it anyway. Mr. Sutton as well as Alberto Gonzales had an absolute duty to inform the Judge in their case that the facts were incorrect. For those of you with short memories, Mexican Nationals who murder police officers, drug agents, or others, will never be extradited to the US for a fair trial. Why, no reciprocity. They don't believe in the death penalty. Where is the President with the authority to pardon. Although no authority exists for it, Congress is kicking a bill around to do a pardon, or to ask for one. How will W ever stand up to Congress to back off something grossly wrong if they are the ones that convince him to do something that should have been obvious weeks ago, Pardoning Ramos and Campeon? Gonzales and Sutton should be disbarred. They have violated every ethical requirement of the ABA as well as their moral duty to make sure justice prevails and the defendants obtained a fair trial based on the facts and the evidence, assuming facts the general public reads are true in this case. Americans may not work in Mexico for the most part, may own property in a limited manner and may not receive any government assistance. How about we throw the ball back in their Court and offer only things they offer in the "reciprocal nature" of inherent fairness?
