Obama's Your Guy If....

Obama’s your guy if… An analysis of Barak Obama's Presidential Announcement Sometimes it’s good to not see or even hear a speech by a politician and instead read the transcript. This is true especially when it is a carefully crafted speech such as Barak Hussein Obama’s announcement of his presidential candidacy. Reading the words without the bias of audio or visual stimulus allows one to consider the actual meaning and implications of what is said. The Next Lincoln? Obama’s message ...

TODAY we are at war. This war It is a lot of things but not a mistake.

It is at the very least a humanitairin effort in an attempt to promote freedom to those who have never tasted it.

The worst thing about the war is that it is political like all have been and the price is high. It's not as high as the death rate caused by auto accidents in the united states nor the murder rate .

Like most dictatorships it is ugly and costly in human life's but less costly than those slaughtered like pigs before we showed up.

Obama , is part of the two party system which means no change. Just colorful talk as usual but no substance. He represents the same rhetoric that has been passed down through the generations with one exception he is a Muslim.

I have not heard him speak against the radical Muslims around the world. Come to think of it I have not heard a single so called moderate Muslim find fault with the radical Muslim belief around the world.

see:  American Congress for Truth, ACT, is dedicated to inform, inspire and motivate Americans throughout society in ways to act against the terrorism and threat radical Islamic fundamentalists pose to Jews, Christians and non-Muslims worldwide.  Brigitte Gabriel  http://www.americancongressfortruth.org/profile.asp

Obama is a product of our liberal society. He believes that Government is the Answer.

The media fawns over him to assauge their inherent guilt complex developed while in college. The media believe America is a bad place and their guilt is from our having too much while other countries do not.

No one can help this lunacy.

Our day in the sun as a great country and power have passed, we are too morally bankrupt to recover from the Cancer of Liberalism.

Well I gues I may be in the wrong site if everybody here is a Conservative. Conservatisme is fine, when we conserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. However I have seen the conservatism of the last 6 years. The republican Conservatives have pushed us into a war that should have never been. bush and his stupidity, and his conservative christian rightists actually allowed 911 to happen. And who did he blamme? A two bit Iraqui dictator. He left Osama to roam while he declared war on a soverign country that had no connection to Bin Ladan. He wasted the lives of thousands of our boys and girls and trillions of our treasury just so his buddy's like Cheney could PROFIT from a war. Maybe everyone should read the history of the bush family.
And as for Obama, first and foremost he is a democrat. whatever else he is is does not bother me. I at this moment have no intention of voting for him, but I have committed myself to Hillary Clinton, since I believe it is high time we recognize women as intellegent human beings. Almost every other nation in the world has had women leaders. But not the USA. It seems if we want to promote our society as a free society then we better look to all our free society members, women, Hillary: blacks, Obama: and whoever else we have allowed to be Americans. maybe even Arnold, if he wants to be second to Ronald as a movie star.
What the Hay, If I were mayvbe 20 years younger, I just might give it a go. Why not, we are all in this together, if we are all Americans
And, yes I read all the articles about Obama being a Muslim, the question is: Barak Obama, tell me true, are you an American?
if the answer is yes, than like any of us he deserves an UP or DOWN vote. leocthasme

What is completely forgotten is Senator Obama's political record back when he was a state senator in Illinois. He is not only liberal, but really a socialist. That information is completely ignored by the media and all that are falling all over themselves as to how great he is. He believes is a world government, i.e., having the United Nations run everything.

Just my 2 cents about someone that I feel is just an eliquent speaker who has absolutely no substance.

I think Obama is the devil. If he made the White House he would run our counrty into the ground and give pardon all to muslims and the rest of us will be nothing.

He just wants to give America to the illegal aliens. He'll probably pay them to vote him into office.

I would agree we are morally bankrupt. There seems to be no cure for the Cancer of Liberalism either. Liberalisim has entrenched itself, in our courts at all levels, law enforcement, billions are spent each year to promote such liberal ideaology and force it and enforce it upon the people most of which do not want it. To expose on a large scale liberalisim would be a worthy goal, and just maybe it would open the eyes of the people.

Obama ,like Hillary, just doesn't have the experience nor the expertise to be President of the Senate, much less of the United States. When they get a few decades of experience in the Congress, they might be more qualified, althought I personally think that any member of Congress leaves that institution unqualified for anything but retirement.

Any legitimate candidate must put the American citizen first in their decisions and both these candidates being open borders/amnesty advocates, are not exactly representing the views of most Americans.

I think both have about as much chance of winning the Presidency as Bill Richardson, which is slim to none. The Presidency of the U.S. is not an affirmative  action program and we must not vote for a person just to promote  race or gender. We must vote for the best candidate to protect our citizens and our borders, whatever their race or gender.Even whites and men should be considered as being able to do a good job as President as long as they protect the rights of the American citizen FIRST.

I hope everyone on this board will consider voting for a candidate that isn't an open-borders advocate.

Obama and Clinton have one thing in common. They both believe that the only reason that Socialism has never worked is because they have not been in charge.

Mr. GBoettner: You are correct in your observations re: Obama and the liberal press. However - If you believe the "lunacy" cannot be overcome, and if you REALLY believe the greatness of the United States of America is a thing of the past... if, indeed, you are not prepared to die to preserve our country and its traditions, then you, sir, are part of the PROBLEM, not the SOLUTION. Now is not the time to say we are defeated.  I dialogue with liberals on a daily basis and have learned that they are afraid of the conservative "right-wingers."  The conservatives have a tremendous amount of clout, if we will stop our apathy.  The liberals have stated that apathy is their greatest weapon against the conservatives; this is why I am getting out of my apathy and actively writing my Congressmen on every issue and am actively participating in the upcoming elections.  No open-borders or anti-gun candidate will win for lack of effort on my part.  Grassfire.org has the right idea and has my undying support.

Apathy also plays in to the problem of illegal immigration.  The Mexican government has openly stated for many years that they want to retake the American Southwest through illegal immigration.  The greatest material that I have found in print is the book by Patrick J. Buchanan and is titled: State of Emergency, the third world invasion and conquest of America.  Reading this book has brought me from the point of concerned about illegal immigration to the point of militant against it.  I have been brought out of my apathy and am pushing all of my friends, relatives, and even complete strangers to rise up out of theirs.

They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin

FEDUP - please speak for yourself only. I am an American and I don't agree with your views.

I am a Barack Obama supporter and I hope with all my heart, he becomes our President.  I can't support Hillary because of the fact she will never say she was wrong.  Reminds me of who we have in the Whitehouse now... Sen. Obama has every value I want in my President, he has been against this unjust war from the beginning as I have; he promotes dialogue first, and as we all know, generally if there are two sides with opposing views, anger happens, when there is anger, no one is thinking and everyone loses.  With dialogue, I can tell you how I feel, you can tell me how you feel and if we are very lucky and willing to listen to one another we can make it work.  So many innocents have been sacrificed and for what? Haliburton and oil.  He wants every American to have healthcare, he wants every American to have access to an affordable education.

I have not had a president for the last 6 years and I'm ready for new blood, new views, gracious, it will just be so pleasant to have a president who can speak a full sentence.  I don't want someone who has been in Congress so long they have special interest groups in their pocket, who have been corrupted by the power they have.  You know who I'm talking about, the ELECTED officials who have forgotten who they are representing.

LEOCTHASME - I agree with every word you wrote. thank you.

jjjh - Sen. Obama's religion is not racist, you are though.  I was raised Protesant, but I am now studying Buddhism because Buddhism is more closely in line with how I feel in my heart.

Colors are beautiful.  Can you imagine living in a world without color, where everyone is the same, talks the same, behaves the same, looks the same. How utterly boring that world would be.  A butterfly would be plain, a sunset, a rainbow plain.  Open up your heart and mind....allow change, WELCOME change.

The Blind Girl There was a blind girl who hated herself because of her blindness. Not only did she hate herself but she hated everyone else, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her that simply said. "Just take care of my eyes dear." This is how the human brain changes when our status changes. Only a few remember what life was like before and even fewer remember who to thank for always being there even when times were painfully unbearable. Life Is a Gift Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who Has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too Early to heaven. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren. Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your Face and thank your God you're alive and still around. Life is a gift, live it, enjoy it, celebrate it, and fulfill it. RELISH THE MOMENT, IT MAY NOT COME AROUND AGAIN

Respect for Self, Respect for Others, Respect for Mother Earth. Let there be Peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.
