It is clear to even the most casual observer that the case of Border Patrol Agents Ramos-Campeon is a trumped-up witch hunt that intends to demoralize our Border Patrol to the point where they simply give up protecting the borders. The President is gravely out of touch with the American people, and has sent a clear signal down the line in his Administration - including to DA Johnny Sutton - that as far as he is concerned, his Administration will look after the concerns of the Mexican government on this issue before he lifts a finger to observe his oath of office "...to protect and defend [this country] against all enemies - foreign and domestic..." Although I have been 100% behind him on the manner in which he is waging the Global War on Terror, his reaction to the flip side of the equation - securing our borders against incursions - leaves me angry beyond belief. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Impeachment might be one of the few options that we have left in forcing him to change direction on the issue of illegal immigration...

If I were Bush, I'd pick up the phone and tell my Attorney General, "Get rid of Sutton and his boss, get rid of that prison Warden, and get rid of that Bureau of Prison boss, or I'll get rid you YOU. Any questions?"...case closed.

This is a petition I hope will go far and let our elected representatives know that the citizens will not tolerate this type of behavior from our Justice Department. Not only is it wrong, it's downright embarrassing to have our government continue to do stupid stuff.

A full investigation by an independant, honest prosecutor is needed for the entire Homeland Security and U.S. Attorney Generals office.
AFTER THEY ARE FIRED.

I can't believe that our country has come to this. Why is Bush afraid of Mexico. Beef up our border patrol and do what is needed to enforce the immigration laws.

EVERYONE involved with the prosecution of these agents - should be FIRED and possibly imprisoned.

Fire them first and I want a full investigation and if results warrant - I want them imprisoned.

I was reading on one of the entries here that Sutton and President Bush have been buddy buddy for some time,at least 1995 back in Texas.Bush has always been loyal to his friends from Texas.Remember that moron he put in charge of FEMA.also his ridiculous supreme court appt of his secretary.I remember reading a long time ago about an incident when Bush was the Gov of Texas,Somehow he and his friends were involved in that incident, where that funeral home was disposing of the bodies in order to save the money on cremation. The whistle blower was summoned to an office where she was discredited and fired.I dont remember all the details, but it happened, George Bush was at the meeting.Look it up for yourselves.I feel that we were all sold a bill of goods with Bush.We always said Bill Clinton was a great snake oil salesman, but I think Bush was a better con man.Who knows what kind of dirt all these people have on Bush from the old days.Remember keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.

Bush doesn't fear anything from Mexico. He wants to create a North American Union just like the failed European union. Bush, Fox and I believe it was Mulroney from Canada got together in Cancun in 2005 to discuss the SPP. Look it up on your search engine. They want to eliminate the borders. This was done on the quiet and it is not a paranoid, conspiritorial idea of mine. Ask yourself why Compean and Ramos are in jail and then try and figure out why all of the sudden, Presidente Calderon extradites 14 or so Narco kingpins to the U.S. I don't really care for the Dog (Bounty Hunter) but at the same time, he did not break the law and is being railroaded by the federal government and shipped to Mexico to face bogus charges that are so minor. The only reason is that Bush is in the 69 position with Calderon and big business. If you people want to do something, you need to get people riled up about the Mexican government meddling in the affairs of the United States of America. The mexican government is systematically using their consulates in the U.S. to stir up pro illegal sentiment, to support financially and substantially groups like La Raza. They are not even covert anymore. They are boldly going wherever they want with no regard for our sovreignity although it is the fault of the U.S. federal government for not expelling any diplomat from any country who meddles in our affairs. I am specifically talking about Ireland and Mexico. Irelands Bertie Ahern (Prime Minister) also feels that the Irish illegals have a RIGHT to amnesty due to our countrys' "Special Relationship". All this talk is good and great but unless you are calling and writing your elected representatives, you are not even starting to address a solution. Please get everyone you know to call, write, march at rallys etc. This year will be the telling point of where this country goes. At the very least, if we cannot stop the amnesty, we must fight to stop the chain migration. AMEN.

Taxmandan,  why are you assuming that Bush is behaving as he is because he is afraid of Mexico?  Don't you think there might be other reasons?

Is there any way that would be easier to get this petition out to friends/family? Like a link I could send and they could just click on to get to the petition?

The news headline today read "Iraq to close borders to stop incursions"
Whats good for Iraq should be good for the USA. Take better security precautions on our borders! An estimated 28,000 Americans have been murdered by Mexicans and illegal aliens recently, in fact about 9000 last year alone (2006) reported killed by Mexicans and illegal aliens. Thats more than were killed by al qaeda! Whats it going to take before our border is secured too?

Sutton is a criminal and a traitor to the States of America and should not only be removed but charged with malicious prosecution.

I voted for Bush in both elections, I sincerely believed he had the welfare of Americans in his heart. I dreaded the day when he would leave office, not knowing who would take his place , but now I can not wait untill he and his whole administration dissappears into the dustbin of history. The Iraq war, cutting taxes, or his Christian faith does not tell you as much about the man then what he is allowing to happen to OUR two Border agents. He will leave office not just hated by the left but also by the right. I am however sure they will erect a statue of him in Mexico City.

Sutton is doing just what his bosses want him to do. This is about their New World Order. The administration believes in order out of chaos and desires to instigate the change required to over through the U.S. Constitution.

I feel there is a drug connection and money being made  illegally.  This is so wrong.   I voted for this mess also and now I know we would be in the same fix with the others only worse.
