Agent Ramos Assaulted

Agent Ramos Assaulted By Four Mexican Nationals In Prison UPDATED 2/15/07 I spoke today with Joe Loya, Ignacio Ramos' father-in-law, who visited Nacho with Monica on Monday. Joe told me that Nacho had bruises across his torso, his chest and his back. Same was true of his legs. Nacho was still having headaches from receiving multiple kicks and punches to the head. Joe confirmed that it took four days before Nacho received medical treatment. Joe says prison officials would neither ...

This is so flippin wrong. Steel Toed Boots in a Prison after hours when all doors should have been locked down....

Who let or gave out the boots on the inside?

Who opened the cell door to give 5 Illegals access?

Why the delayed Medical attenion? If it were an Illegal injured he would be sueing by now and have all sorts of legal aid at hand.

Why? Possibly in hopes of putting an end to the truth about what the hell is really going on.

The Sell Out of America by a Goverment that has big plans for something that True Americans wont Stand For.

Get these guys out and wake up before it is too late.

This is total b/s in many different ways.. It seems Nacho was put in this prison with illegals and drug dealers on purpose. Steel toe boots? Who the heck wears or even has access to steel toe boots in a prison? I wasn't even allowed to wear them in high school! I pray that Nacho gets the medical attention he needs and justice on those who made him a political prisoner

Yeah, this is total garbage (as usual). And the illegals in the prison that beat Officer Ramos will be back on OUR streets before you know it! And then they will go back to Mexico to pick up another load of criminals and Al Quaida sponsored drugs & weapons. Homeland Security??? Bunk!!!!

This reminds me of the movie Tango & Cash. I am a former police officer and detective with Austin P.D. Everyone knows that many of the TDC guards are crooked. They are the ones that bring in the drugs, porn, etc to the inmates. With prison gangs out there like Texas Syndicate, Mexicana Eme', etc, those agents should have been kept seperate from the beginning. The government not only showed it's ass by convicting these 2 men, it showed it's ass again by letting them get put in general population. The main questions is will the probe into what happened actually find the guard the let the inmates in to do the beating. Our government has turned from the path of justice and protection to the path of deceit and injustice.

I have never been so ashamed of my countries "leaders" than I am at this moment. Does nobody in Washington have the testicals to stand up to the Mexican government anymore?

I am so disappointed in our polititians---seems they are all out to lunch---have lost their minds and focus on their jobs and what country they are from.

I feel so torn between what Ramos is going through and what our boys are dying for in Irag. How many Times has Ramos saved a family comming accross the border from dying in the desert heat? Are the drug lords working for our politicle heads---you know---the money thing and minority vote so they would rather spit in the face of a hero doing his job than the true root of the problem being discovered?

This whole case has been terribly wrong from the beginning. What country would even have a cout hearing over a guard doing his job--protecting the borders and stopping the illegal trade of both drug and humans? I was disappointment in this from the beginning---but now---please---ramos getting beat in prison---a place he should not even be? What? does he know something that goverment officials put a price on his head? So what---some guy or guys that are cell mates might get a prostitute brought into them?

We are all to blame for this!!! We are lazy---we let money run our goverment---not justice. We all have blood on our hands for not demanding our country back! We let God be taken off out money---out of public buildings----schools---we arrange our country not to offend anyone. Do you think if you go to Irag they will take their muslin practice  and alter it for you?

Ramos should not be in prision period---and what turn cheek polititian has a price on his head? Who cares that ramos got a beating in prison with steal toe boots and no one knows how it happened?

Well--I care---and we best all care because little by little we are becomming a dictatorship of the rich and famous. You will have no rights soon enough on the path this country is on.

I just called the comment line and along with signing the petition and forwarding it to friends I must say that I am grieving, not only for Agent Ramos, his partner, and their families, but for America in general. I am astonished and ashamed of what the Republican administration is allowing to happen on our borders. They (Republicans) might as well admit to being ultra liberals in the case of our borders and the illegal immigrant problem. Don't know where we got confused over the term "illegal", but I do know that I will no longer be confused over the power of the "vote!'

This is bull crap all the way. We should pull all our troops out of Iraq and put them on our southern boarders along side our boarder agents. And if the illegal aliens try to cross our boarders, they should be sent right back across it. An illegal alien that crosses our boarder should not have any rights at all, especially in the judicial system. This country is going to hell in a hand basket I tell you. Our country was founded on our religious beliefs, our so called politicians forget that they work for us not there own thoughts and beliefs.

Im sure there is a policy about profanity on this site, but this is BULLSHIT. I'm so pissed off at our sytem, our leaders, and every single citizen that turn a blind eye to this travesty of justice. I'm almost ashamed of being an American. We are a fat, lazy, complacent, apathetic, obtuse, people. This is one of the most shamful acts of injustice that our government has ever perpetrated upon it's makers. It's time to act and pull our heads out of our collective ass and get these guys OUT OF PRISON! SPREAD THE WORD!

I used to work in a maximum security prison hospital. If the inmate Ramos will kite the DON she/he will see to it that he is brought to the hospital.

If he has not contacted his attorney (who doesn't seem to have done much for him so far) or get a new one, he should be able to arrange for Ramos to go into protective security.

If Mrs. Ramos will contact the Texas State Attorney General's office, she may be able to get something done for her husband through them.

Our prison had a gang of guards (15-20) who delighted in torturing and beating inmates and through the Attorney general's office , we were able to get them fired.  They had threatened me, prior to this, but I didn't back down and reported all that I saw and heard.  Some times you find honest people.  I hope this is the case for Mr. Ramos and his partner.

What I can't understand, is our homeland security officer going to Mexico and arranging for this illegal to come into our country and sue these two officers for doing their jobs.  There has to be a cover-up somewhere here.

Anybody ready to go march on the White house?  We'll just barge in and say, "Where are you keeping your head, Mr. President?  Please be careful when it's time to vote again. We're all in trouble!

If the President doesn't pardon these men, their blood will be upon his hands. In addition to bombarding the Capitol Hill Switchboard, we need to bombard heaven for justice. This isn't just a case about two men wrongly convicted, it's about fundamental American liberties slipping through our hands.

I question how this entire case got so far to begin with!   It all started with that assistant prosecuting attorney granting concessions.  WHY was an ASSISTANT prosecuting attorney's ruling to stand? WHO is this person?  What is his background?   Where was the Chief prosecuting attorney of El Paso, TX?  That seems to be where this corruption began.  The assistant granted immunity to the illegal perpetrator.  WHY?  And then he proceeded to charge the boarder agents. WHY?  And more importantly, HOW?  Under what legal precedence was this allowed to stand?   We now should be asking.... WHY did President Bush NOT grant a pardon when he had the chance?  WHY is Pres. Bush in bed with Mexico?  What is the REAL agenda here?  Does it have something to do with the fact that a highway from Mexico to Canada is in the works?  WHEN OUR COUNTRY CEASES TO HAVE BOARDERS IT CEASES TO EXIST.  When our boarder agents are prevented form doing their job and imprisoned for guarding our boarders, our country is in danger.  That seems to be the REAL adjenda here.  A World Trade Organization with CAFTA and NAFTA and a European Union takes precedence over our Constitution.   Bush supports CAFTA and NAFTA and the WTO.  By NOT supporting our agents, he IS supporting Mexico and the drug trafficking, illegals, etc.  Bush clearly is NOT defending America, especially in this case of these two boarder agents!  Isn't that what his oath of office was and still should be?  What is this grounds for, now?

Spoke with people at Dana Rhorbacher's and they suggest we put pressure on John Conyers to hold hearings on the unjust prosecution of the Border Patrol Agents.

Please call or fax or email his office with a personal request.  I have also included the names of all the members of the House Judiciary Committee.  If you live in the district of one these members of Congress please call them and put pressure on to hold hearings.

Hi, I just joined, and am so outraged at this news of Ramos having been put into population with those that would want him dead! So upset over it all I have just e-mailed a letter myself to the Pres! I really don't understand what it is that is going on of all this, but feel there is too big an injustice to not have wrote to pres. I have also signed the petition and sent.T and K in VA

I think what h as happened to these border agents is sickening.  How can there be any justification for this to happen.  Agent Ramos beaten and I'm sure the other agent Compean will be next.  the only justice is to get these men out of prison immediately

It's very easy to understand. Our government knows they have done wrong and what better way not to have to answer to the public than to equip and allow the drug dealers to mame or even murder these two men. If we would just stop the human rights people and the crooked lawyers and judges this sort of tragic situation would not be taking place. What the H_ _ _ _ is this kind of scume of the earth doing watching America's Most Wanted? Why are these creeps even allowed T.V. time? Just like I said yesterday people wrong is now right and our government wont stop the wrong until they have full control over its people (mind, body and spirit).Write our President and let him know what a disgusting person and his people have become. Also pray for these two men and their lives, send any donation you can afford to either his wife or the Grassfire Organization so they will be able to do what needs to be done. Hurry people as I fear time is running out. Try to stay strong Nacho. Maybe Mrs. Ramos can blog and let the people know what prison he is in and how we may get donations to her and her sons to help with the costs of getting to him. God bless them all and keep them safe.

Who is President Bush?
How hard is it to pardon these Border Patrol Agents?
Why is this aloud to happen?
What recourse do we have otherthan a 2 Party duopoly on Election Day?
God help us...how much longer can His grace endure?
