These stories make me want to give up my badge.

But like all of you, I hang on because I know when BUSH is finished secureing the IRAQI border....LOL...he will secure our American Border....LOL

It used to be that crooks were SCARED of getting caught for their crimes, but I have heard juveniles brag about how many more crimes they can commit before they would have to go to juvie! Criminals, if even brought to trial, are released on technicalties. It seems like only the innocent are prosecuted. It amazes me that we would take the word of illegal alien CRIMINALS over our own officers of the law. These crimials have more rigts then we, US citizens have. I think our government and politicians better start to remember that they work for the people and we are getting sick of being second class citizens in our own country. I have seen with my own eyes such miscarriages of justice resulting in the death of an 8 day old baby because the officers of the law can't get illegals off the streets, in jails or deported like they should be! I want policemen and sherrifs to protect ME a US citizen, not illegal aliens. I want proud upstanding citizens representing law enforcement. We are under siege in our own country, and it needs to be stopped NOW!

It's hard to figure out what they're doing. They must not realize that good officers don't grow on trees in remote areas of Texas. If Edwards County loses any more, there won't be police protection.

I wish we could have a day without an American....every American not spend one red cent, not show up for work..nothing. Of course, I realize this would not have the effect of a day without a mexican because they take our money to support the illegals in our country from our salaries & social security before we get it! It would be worth a try tho....

Middle-class Americans must take our government back before it is too late!

My question is, how many other law enforcement officers are out there that we don't know about & that have been railroaded to get complacency from those officers that are still on duty on the drug/immigration issues that are destroying our country?

The State of Texas Attorney General needs to investigate this case.
If this kind of Politically Correct miscarriage of justice continues why would anyone want to become a Police Officer?

It seems that the Government is more intent in persecuting Marines, Border Patrol Agents and Law Enforcement Officers than terrorists, drug dealers and illegals.

What is wrong with our judicial system?  What is wrong with our politicians?  I thought both were to uphold the law and defend the Constitution?

Our country is going fast!  When will enough Americans wake up and take our country back from the Anti-American crowd?  When will people revolt against the main stream media that lies to us?

 I am absolutely disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

I hope that "America's Most Wanted" will do a segment on Sheriff Gilmer Hernandez similar to the one that John Walsh did tonight for USBP Agents Ramos and Compean. If it is true that the DOJ twice asked for this segment to be quashed, they must be hoping that the public outrage will die down. No law enforcement officer is going to be able to properly do his/her job if the government keeps taking the wrong side. I hope everyone keeps up the pressure by callin the WH and the DOJ.

If anyone is in the Hollywood, California area on Feb. 10th, I urge you to join in on the "Free the Texas Three" march.  A rally and march in support of Deputy Hernandez and BP Agents Ramos and Compean.

You can read more about it by going to www.saveourstate.org/forums and look under what's on tap.  (I can't copy the url for some reason...sorry!)

Johnny Sutton is connected in both cases and like pdaniel, I too wonder how many other BP agents and law enforcement officials are out there that we don't know about.

And L.Downing, thank you for your service!

We all had better wake up and start getting involved in this country of ours before its too late. We all are accountable for the people we elected into office in which i beleive that they all have lost there way. Get involved and call your congressman and voice your opinion about our border agents and local law enforcement officers. I just did and I wont some answers about this grave injustice.....we all have to do something...

The US Government in the hands of liberals is worse than any Orwellian novel could imagine. In 2006 4,000 Americans were killed in the top 20 Americans cities by violent crime. What is wrong here is that we are focusing on the wrong issues. Gun grabbing bills and procescuting this deputy and the border agents are attrocities on par with what the terrorist is doing in Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan. I have been to the last two I mentioned and can tell you the media and the liberals are lieing

Doesn't the US Govt. realize that we are being defeated by a war within our own country? By terrorist cells of radical Muslims and by illegals coming over here. Those groups will soon have full control and we will wonder: "Where did America go?" Twenty yrs. ago a bunch of children dreamed of becoming law enforcement officers -- They don't want to anymore, afraid they will end up in prison. Those 2 groups of illegals and potential terrorists will take over when we are not protected by our laws. My husband and I were outraged when we learned that another law enforcement officer has been unjustly indicted, convicted and imprisoned by our own government for defending himself while enforcing the law in the line of duty. We cannot believe our governments willingness to convict its own citizens and law enforcement officers for doing their jobs. The imprisonment of these officers sends a clear message that the citizens of the U.S.A. no longer have rights in their own country. Illegal immigrants can enter this country illegally, break all of our laws and get protection from the govevernment of the U.S.A.. The U.S. Government is supposed to represent the citizens of their own country not illegal immigrants. STOP WORKING FOR THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT START TAKING CARE OF YOUR OWN COUNTRY AND ITS CITIZENS.     M & D F.

I am amazed and appalled at what we Americans are calling "justice"......there is obviously some 'secret agenda', along with drug money payoffs and corruption.....What can we do about this?

I have always heard that the US would be destroyed from within. Well, it is happening and has been for quite awhile. Our law enforcement officials are being jailed for doing their jobs, Congress and our President are not upholding their oath of office to protect citizens, states from invasion, groups such as LULAC, ACLU (notice the similarity)are dictating policy to our officials. I just hope enough people will wake up before it is to late.

The Proscuting Attorney's in these cases should know better. Why do they feel these guys are criminal? These cases started in their own states and cities. Go after them also!!!
