[article image] 'Defying a veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Senate narrowly signaled support Tuesday for the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq by next March.

Republican attempts to scuttle the non-binding timeline failed on a vote of 50-48, largely along party lines. The roll call marked the Senate's most forceful challenge to date of the administration's handling of a war that has claimed the lives of more than 3,200 U.S. troops.'

More on the story here.

Nothing ever changes. Every war we have ever been involved in, the Democrats always show there true colors. YELLOW. Some big mouth elected official decides " Its' My Football And We Play By My Rules" . If that quote sounds familliar you need only look for the BIG MOUTH TED KENNEDY. O by the way he never served a day in the active millitary. In October of 1968 some reporter stuck a mike in front of his mouth and TED stated that the American army was not as good at the N.V.A. . What a great moral booster he is for the average fighting man. Ted is following in his fathers footsteps. He was fired as Ambasador due to his colaberation with ADOLPH HITLER.

Teds companion John Kerry is no better. He says its ok to burn the American Flag that All U.S. millitary Die for. Besides all the anti-war talk he spiews, he then says to support the troops. John Kerry is nothing more then Ted Kennedys bag man. " ONE LIES AND THE OTHER ONE SWEARS TO IT".

i SPENT FROM 1966 TO 1970 LISTNING TO THE SAME B.S. THEN AS IT IS NOW. NOTHING CHANGES. I AM AN AMERICAN VETERAN / A DISIBILLITY RETIRED POLICE OFFICER / AND DISGUSTED CITIZEN.

I hope our President sticks to his promise to veto the pork bill the Democrats are trying to pass. He warned them he would even before they voted to try and pass it but now they will all blame Bush for vetoing it and they will all cry it is Bush fault our military will not get what they need. What a laughing stock we are to our enemies they know if they just wait long enough they will win. A house divided will not stand neither will a country.
