Ahmadinejad says that Iran 'will not stop' it's nuclear program

Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said in a statement to a rally in Khatam, that the UN sanctions will not stop Iran's Nuclear Program.

"We have a nuclear fuel cycle. We will not give it up under pressure. By holding meetings you cannot block the Iranian nation's path"

Got to admit, the guy has guts. As Rush always says when this guy gets in the face of those opposed to him, up goes the cost of oil. Iran has plenty of it too. Seems to me that is the underlying-unspoken reason he's trying to develop his nuclear program, so his country cannot be invaded and their oil be taken too? Just a hunch, but probably a good one. He who has the gold(oil) rules, as the old saying goes.

If people in this nation would stand up to Bush as well as this guy, we may not be in the dangerous predicament we find ourselves in today.
And I am not saying I agree with Iran's motives, just that Bush is pushing his buttons and he is not responding the way Bush thinks he should.
Too bad he is not a real good guy.
