Where is there anything in the constitution that says pardons must go through a "process". This is just Bush's way of not addressing the issue of the border agents and pandering to the illegals in our country! He and Congress are obviously not interested in enforcing our laws so why is he standing on "the process" on this issue alone? Why hasn't someone/anyone in the news media said this to him on the air....I would certainly be interested in what lies he could come up with that were "unscripted".

What "process" is Bush talking about?  Does he have to go through Dept. of Veterans' Affairs, Parliament in England, or what??  If I remember correctly, Clinton pardoned a bunch of his friends just before midnight on his last day in office.  Did he go through channels?  No, everybody woke up the next morning and learned about it.

And earning this citizenship thing for the illegals already here is a CROCK. Nobody in government seems to realize that it is cheaper to carry them back home than to furnish them with all welfare perks that they are getting now. Then let them get a green card before coming back over.  When they get citizenship, watch them MULTIPLY, adding to the ones they have already had here. They have children every 9 months, then how many will be on our taxpayer support list?  What kind of people are we putting in office?  Don't any of them have any COMMON SENSE?   My CAT has more.
