Hello everyone from Grassfire and Fire Society,
I'm sorry I haven't written in a while, but it's been quite a whirlwind these last two weeks. Let me begin by telling you about our bike rally here in El Paso.

On the day of the event, we had over 300 bikes and another 100 or so individuals who didn't have motorcycles, but wanted to show their support for "Nacho" and Jose.  It was really wonderful to finally see the support here in El Paso.  Since the event, I've gotten so many pictures that I am hopeful I will get to share with you all!

I have been pretty busy really trying to find myself.  I have such a hectic schedule with work, kids, the house.... but I manage with the help of my mother, father and sister and of course many friends as extended family as well.  One of my biggest challenges is trying to find some normalcy for my children.

I can't even begin to put in words how this is effecting my children. On Febraury 25th, my eldest son celebrated his 14th birthday.  It was truly a sad day for him because he really didn't want anything for his birthday ... just his dad home.  In fact, he broke my heart when he said he didn't want to celebrate until daddy comes home.

Instead, we attended a bike rally in Mesa, Arizona for "Nacho" and Jose by our extended family--the American Freedom Riders. It was a great success, and especially helped raise our spirits from my son's birthday. In all about 100 bikes and many citizens attended both the rally and the speaking event.  It was wonderful to meet so many concerned citizens that are fighting for us and our families.  I consider myself very blessed to know that these people are now a very big part of my family and I and I will forever cherish that in my heart.

I have to go, but I will write more tomorrow and give you an update about "Nacho". Thank you for your prayers and support.

-Monica

Mrs. Ramos:

As a veteran of the U.S. Army, it pains me to see brothers in arms

like your husband and Mr. Compean imprisoned for doing their job and doing it well.  Please know that I will not stop fighting for their release. I

am honored to stand and speak out for such brave men. I am collecting petitions and  contacting every law enforcement agency in our area to inform them of this situation. My prayers go out to both of your families

and may God watch over both of these men until this injustice is

rectified.                              Jason Baker-Valley,AL

Mrs. Ramos:

I am so ashamed of what OUR country has done to your family !  I will continue to pray for you husband and I will pray that the hearts of the evil doers will be touched!

Tell your children that the masses do support you and to keep believing they will be able to hug their DAD soon!   We feel like your extended family and we love you.  Roger
