I suppose some may be interested in the following excerps from varying columnists across the USA. Some may not. In any event, try these on for size.

In Connecticut, last year, the Dems. there "dumped" Joe Liberman, an 18 year incumbent, because he suppoerted the "war on terror" among other things. Remember? They preferred Ned Lamont, a staunch anti-war candidate and great nephew of Corliss Lamont, a WASP plutocrat who was a fund raiser for Stalin. Ned's goal is to unite the "cut and run" wings of his party into one coalition. Lamont declared victory surrounded by Jessie Jackson, Al "I used to look like a drug dealer" Sharpton, and Kim Gandy of the pro-abortion group known as "The National Organization of Women."(NOW). Rep. Nancy Waters(D-Calif.) flew to Conn. to campaign against Joe because she considered Joe soft on the issue of the CIA's inventing crack cocaine and AIDS to kill all the black people in America. That's an issue somewhere? How crazy is Maxine? (Authors note: anything is possible)

Here's another poll for you. Scott Rasmussen, a professional pollster, (there's actually a job like that?), asked likely voters if they believed America was generally a fair and decent country and whether they believed the world would be a better place if more countries were like America. Firstly, what do you think? Ready for the results? Republicans polled agreed that America is generally fair and decent, 83% to 7%. Apparently, 10% abstained. 81% agreed that the world would be a better place if more countries were like America.

In contrast, according to Dems. polled, ONLY 46% AGREED THAT AMERICA WAS FAIR AND DECENT!! What?!! 37% said AMERICA IS NOT FAIR AND DECENT!! I can only assume 17% abstained. Am I reading this right? 37%  of the Dems. polled are "bad-mouthing" America? Is that what that party has come too?  Or is it just the view of the Dems. polled by Rasmussen?

I think anyone believing that should find another country, that is what they want, and pack up the SUV, AND MOVE THERE!! Only 48% of the polled Dems. said they thought that the world would be a better place if more countries were like the USA.

I've heard a number of Dems. say the nation has never been more divided, but consider that half the Dems. polled think the statement that America is a good country is a devisive statement.( I'll submit here that We, the People are not divided. The two-party system divides Congress. The old men and women in Congres are divided, not you and me. Just an opinion. I could be right.)

Are you kidding me? How many were polled? Who were they? Verges on a mild form of treason. If America is as bad as the Dems. polled think, why are both ILLEGAL AND LEGAL ALIENS coming here at the rate of 1 every 31 seconds. How'd that poll grab ya? There are actually Americans that think that of their country? Absolutely astounding!! Keep in mind, the first three letters in the word DEMISE are DEM.

We all know Teddy Roosevelt's qoute from 1907. I'm of the opinion that there is no such thing as a Cuban-American. An American of Cuban decent is actually what the person is assuming they came from Cuba and went through the legal system to become a citizen. I don't run around telling any one who will listen that I am an Irish/Indian American.  The ILLEGAL ALIENS, claiming this is their country and waving their flag, should not even be considered for citizenship much less amnesty. They want everything we have without claiming allegiance. They just want to pick the fruit from the tree without watering it, so to speak. They don't care about our culture, flag, heritage, history or laws. Highly un-American.

Next to lastly, a Haitian prep-cook and I became friends at work about 15 years ago and we discussed everything from politics to health care. He told me he worked two jobs. He made about $180.00 per week from both jobs. I said, "With $360.00 a week you can afford to live a fairly decent life here by yourself." He said, "Oh, no, I live with six(6) other people in a three bedroom house and send $200.00 a week home to my family in Haiti." He didn't get money orders. HE SENT CASH(AMERICAN GREENBACK) wrapped up in a letter!!!!  He said it brought more on the "black market" in Haiti. Multiply that by 36 million ILLEGAL ALIENS and unless you are naive or stupid you can see that billions of dollars go outside of the economy to other countries. How would the DOW look or how better would our economy be, not that it's bad, if those billions went back into our system instead of into thin air? Just a thought. Do the math.

 Lastly,The "dirty bomb" threat last year was a hoax by two dullards that challenged each other to come up with the scariest scenario and post it on the web. You dunderheads!! There is only one George Orwell. Remember War of the Worlds? People actually jumped out of windows and died because they tuned into the middle of a hoax on the radio and thought the world was being invaded by aliens. Outer space aliens, not ILLEGAL ALIENS from the same planet, although it does seem like we're being invaded by ILLEGAL ALIENS. American flags flown upside down. Signs saying, "We built this country, We built it for you", etc.

Project into the future. What will this country be like in the next 30 years? I'll be in another dimension, but you who are my niece's age, 22, will be in a country that may have Jose as President and 600-800 million people here if the NAU comes into fruition.

Of course, we may be off the planet by then, with colonies on other planets. But, "Good, old Mother Earth" will probably still be here unless "nuclear ambitionists" do something out of this world stupid. What if....huh?
