URGENT ACTION: Contact your two Senators, and forward this link to your friends. Urge them to take immediate action with you! Our Capitol contacts have just informed us that Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is attempting to attach an amnesty amendment for illegal farm workers to the Iraq supplemental appropriations spending bill. Details are still coming in, but we do know the bill would provide legal status to 1.35 million illegal aliens working in agriculture by granting them five-year visas. Tentatively called the Emergency Agriculture Relief Act of 2008, this is a slight-of-hand, scaled-down version of Feinstein’s AgJobs amnesty bill that she had previously introduced. We’ve been told that her amendment could be voted on as soon as tomorrow (Friday, May 16)! Action Item—Call Your Senators We are asking ALL members of our team to take immediate action by calling their Senators and demanding they oppose the Feinstein amendment to the Iraq Supplemental Appropriations Bill--or any other sly move to increase the rolls of illegal aliens in the U.S. Please call BOTH of your Senators. Without their support, Feinstein’s amendment may pass--opening the door to millions more illegals in our nation! After calling, please forward this link to all of your friends and family who share your deep concern for our nation. Urge them to pick up the phone and call their Senators as well. If they don’t know the contact information of their Senators, they can call the Capitol Switchboard: 202/224-3121 to be quickly connected. This is an all-hands-on-deck alarm, and I’m counting on every member of the Grassfire team to deluge Senate offices with tens of thousands of phone calls! We will keep you posted as news breaks. What’s behind the incredible Climate Alarmist push and the $1.2 Trillion carbon tax? Follow the money. Al Gore’s venture funds have recently announced that they have invested or will invest at least $1.8 billion in “green” companies. Let’s be clear -- this gives Al Gore a huge financial incentive to continue to push Climate Alarmism and get the $1.2 trillion carbon tax passed. That’s why it is no surprise that Al Gore recently pushed his own personal investment portfolio during a speaking engagement promoting Climate Alarmism. Go here to watch Al Gore hawk his own investments as part of the strategy to save us from the “planetary emergency.” You simply must see for yourself as Al Gore shamelessly pushes his own stock portfolio. Of course, the liberal media have been silent on Gore’s conflict of interest. Once again, Gore and Climate Alarmism gets a free pass. Al Gore’s solution: Carbon Tax It also should be no surprise that, later in that same talk, Al Gore promoted a “single, very simple solution” to everything from global poverty to global warming. What is Al Gore’s solution? “Put a price on carbon. We need a CO2 tax….” --Al Gore Of course, Al Gore and his friends are the ones who are going to benefit the most from government mandated CO2 limits and forced green initiatives. The “green” leaders will become the new super-rich billionaires if they succeed in getting this Carbon Tax passed. Carbon Tax 3 weeks away Our contacts on the Hill tell us that the introduction of the $1.2 Trillion CO2 tax in the Senate is just three weeks away. We just crossed 130,000 signers. Our goal is to reach a quarter million before the votes are cast. My staff tells me that Al Gore’s $300 million media blitz is attracting about 6,000 new Climate Alarmist converts every day. Scanning the headlines this morning sickened me... In Virginia (my home state), an illegal alien raped a 4 year-old child. In Tennessee, a suspected illegal alien raped a 15 year-old girl just hours after his release from prison. Another raped and impregnated a 9 year-old child. It has been widely reported that she has just given birth! 390 illegals were arrested following a raid of a meat- packing plant in Postville, Iowa. Not only is Washington ignoring the headlines, they are also ignoring our pleas for construction of the fence as promised--double-layered for 800 miles. According to Rep. Duncan Hunter only a paltry 13 miles has been built. That is unacceptable, and it has to change! I’m calling on EVERY member of our Grassfire team to add their name to our “Build the Fence as Promised” petition. Click here to sign. When Grassfire heads to Washington in support of this legislation, I intend to send a very clear and impassioned message to each and every member of Congress--a message on behalf of the girls who were raped by illegals, the families that are torn apart because illegal alien drunk drivers killed their loved ones, on behalf of those affected by illegal alien crime, and those who have lost their jobs to illegals … and I want to represent you! Making my message all the more profound is the petitions that I will be holding--200,000 right now, but I’m hoping with your help we can push that number to 250,000 or more in the next week! One woman said she was from Guatemala, but made it clear to authorities that she wanted to be deported to Mexico. Why? She said it would be easier to reenter America from Mexico than Guatemala. Help me get the message to those on Capitol Hill, today!
