Grassfire Exclusive Interview with Congressman Mike Pence!

Just moments ago I interviewed Congress Mike Pence, one of the leaders of the protest going on right now on the House floor demanding that Congress re-convene to address the energy crisis.

Please go here to listen to my exclusive interview with
          Rep. Pence.

“Speaker Pelosi: Get Back To Work Now!”

Congressman Pence told me that Congress simply should not go on a five-week paid vacation while Americans struggle with high gas prices and our nation remains in the grip of foreign oil. So he and about 50 Republicans are standing strong, making speeches from the House floor and calling their colleagues back.

CSPAN will not even cover these speeches! The mainstream media are calling it a “stunt.” But this is the kind of leadership we have been desperately needing -- leadership that stands up to the political and media elites!

But Rep. Pence and these stalwarts need OUR HELP NOW!

Action Item #1  -- Call your Congressman and Pelosi

Rep. Pence said the best thing you can do is call your member of Congress right now and say you want a special session of Congress called immediately to address the energy crisis.

Tell your Member that the energy plan must include:
    *more offshore and Alaskan drilling;
*opening up our vast shale oil reserves
    *expanding nuclear energy
    *promoting alternative energy

Also call Speaker Pelosi. Phone numbers:

Speaker Pelosi: 202-225-4965 (DC)
                          415-556-4862 (San Francisco)

Action Item #2 -- Sign the Petition And Have It Delivered
                                    To Pelosi This Week!

We just crossed 250,000 signers and a Grassfire representative is delivering new petitions to Pelosi’s office EVERY DAY.

Please sign here and have your petition delivered
                    to Pelosi.

Rep. Pence and about 50 of his colleagues have taken a stand. Now, we must stand with them!

Thank you for taking action!

Steve

P.S. Congressman Pence and others are doing what the Grassfire team has asked them to do -- they are refusing to go on vacation until the drilling ban is lifted! Now, we must do our part and create a massive grassroots uprising to support their efforts. Please take action today.

Thank you for all you do to inform us the American people about the issues that affect our lives.

As I keep reading and signing petitions, Question: Why are people like Pelosi not being held accountable by those who are in the position and authority to do so. When will the people who are in those positions begin to get things done?

Communism dictated what people are allowed to do and held the people hostage, with no voice. Since we are a democratic Country, when will people like Pelosi be removed from their position for obstructing justice for the American people?

Oh my, can anyone be misinfornmed enough to actually buy into this election cycle nonsense.  Pig Oil has drilling permits for areas the size of Maryland on the books, including some off shore, but don't have the refinning capacity to do anything with it if they did drill.  Their HUGE windfall? profits have gone into CEO's pockets and buying back stocks rather than the refineries they were given Tax breaks to build.

As for the stunt of the Republicans in congress, it is is all BS, IF they were allowed to pass on to PIG Oil another priize of sensitive areas, it would have NO effect on gas prices in the immediate future, and  maybe in 10 years, some effect...maybe. No guarentee.

Sorry, but  the assumed ignorance of the populace is insulting Mr Price.
